Well AF got me. But first time i have ever ovulated at CD14, hopefully that continues. Weirdly I was more upset at the negative tests leading up to AF than AF. It was actually relief and acceptance, ready to go again.
amazing news for the BFP in the thread, would love to go through the next month journey with you all too. Sending baby dust xx

I'm the same it's like once you know for sure you just want to go again, whereas with the BFN you are just waiting.
Sorry it's not your month either.
Sending dust to all for the next one and also big congrats to the BFP in here too x

SimJac2025 · 18/02/2025 09:12

Hey everyone, I just wanted to apologise for my last post, I was so peeved AF came early this month without warning as per and I have been surround by BFP.s at work and DP stating we should have a break from TTC as its not fun anymore! so everything just got to me. Congrats to those with BFPs hope your all well and to us BFN's we go again.xxx

I wasn't here from the beginning, but just wanted to say how understandable your feelings are. Glad you're feeling ready to try again. Sorry to hear your OH isn't quite on board. Has he come round?

I took a pregnancy test after waking up at 4am this morning and threw it across the room in frustration (embarrassing, but I was alone so no one to witness my tantrum). I had thought I had a chance given my symptoms and my only ever pregnancy. Well AF has arrived extremely early (insomnia has always been an indicator) and I feel so dark and low. Hoping in a few days I'll rise up again a bit. Weirdly I always get the song 'rip it up and start again' stuck in my head when I think about my shedding womb :(
Best of luck with your next cycle.

SimJac2025 · 18/02/2025 10:00

@Nosejug Hey nice to chat to you! he's just like oh well when am i performing again like its all me when it was him that said lets have a baby!
Sorry to hear about your BFN sounds like something I would do lol.
Do you have any children, I don't and all BFNS so far.
Damn AF! Mine is all over the place, 9 days late last month, 4 days early this month, no idea why - I've always been on time to the day until 2025 ! lol xx

Bleugh that's not a helpful comment! Me and OH have had our moments with unhelpful comments/negativity, but luckily we've always been able to talk things through about how that makes the other person feel. Does he have any issues performance wise? I guess he could be badly expressing some anxiety.

No children, just two failed ivfs and one miscarriage. Entering our 4th year ttc and both now 39 which isn't great. Are you guys on the younger end?

Damn af indeed! Have you been trying long? With irregular periods it must be difficult, I wonder what's caused the irregularity. Have you thought about getting tests?

SimJac2025 · 18/02/2025 10:19

@Nosejug Aw i'm so sorry for your losses its a tough road.

I am 26 and dp is 28. He's great in the bedroom never had any performance issues etc but the last month or so hes like 'oh god its that time again' this month he said i turned into the nutcase testing and looking for symptoms that weren't there. We've been trying actively since October, I am lucky in the respect with AF I don't get any symptoms in the lead up never have done she just comes and then the cramps start so its been driving me mad in the TWW looking for signs that I am not used to.

Nosejug · 18/02/2025 11:25

I def hide my more obsessive testing and symptom spotting etc from DP! After this month (I thought implantation bleeding) I got his hopes up unnecessarily. I feel bad about it. Honestly just want to spare him the ridiculous rollercoaster I put myself through.

learning how unsexy baby making sex can become is likely what your OH is reacting against (unhelpful!!) I've considered being very vague about ovulation window to decrease that aspect for my OH but it's hard to keep up.

Well it's probably not exactly helpful to hear, but time is definitely on your side. I wish I'd met the right fella in my 20s! And ttc since oct isn't worryingly long. I really hope you get your bfp soon. I am quite sure you will! 💫 x

SimJac2025 · 18/02/2025 11:36

@Nosejug Aw thank you lovely! i have everything crossed for you as well.
I agree about the unsexy part, mine said to me the other day oh you havent asked for dtd for a few days at least I get a break! ggrrr men eh!

I know its not been long just really hit this month with low mood and AF messing me around. I was on 28 day cycles relgiousl then Jan gave me a 34 day cycle so my hormones are up the wall and dp get its lol

Hi all. I've heard in the past that OPKs sometimes stay slightly elevated if conception has occurred. I'm 5 dpo and still in the 20s my normal would have bottomed out at 0.0something by now 🤔

Anyone heard of this before?

Clara202 · 18/02/2025 15:26

I’m 6dpo. Sore boobs since the 1dpo, usually that doesn’t happen until maybe 3 or 4 days before. I’m not reading anything into it as I’ve not had one similar cycle since September! I’ll test at 10 days, but I’m just wondering where you all get the FRERs? @laidir
I can’t find them anywhere or even online other than websites in the US!

littlefox90 · 18/02/2025 19:03

@clara202 I got mine from amazon. amzn.eu/d/b4hQ87y

Clara202 · 18/02/2025 19:34

@littlefox90 thank you, but it’s coming up with an additional €24 for postage. Maybe it’s an EU issue, I’m in Ireland.

Ouch 😯 that's ridiculous! I'm UK

SimJac2025 · 19/02/2025 04:36

@Clara202 Have you tried ebay?

OP posts:
Clara202 · 19/02/2025 07:33

@SimJac2025 no I didn’t look there. I could buy from walgreens but customs will open the box and then plaster the contents of said box on a huge sticker on the outside which obviously I don’t want! I will wait and see if I can find it in the EU but must be banned for some reason as I know I used to see it in Boots etc

SimJac2025 · 19/02/2025 08:13

@Clara202 I've had a quick look for you and says they are avaliable on websites! i've never used them as use cheapies and never had a BFP to confirm with an expensive test!

OP posts:
Clara202 · 19/02/2025 17:23

@SimJac2025 you’re very kind to look for me. I could only find ones in the US, or UK based ones that would deliver but with very high shipping. I’ll check German Amazon to see if that’s any more reasonable. I don’t know why I want them really, I have plenty of other brands available to me but I thought frer was ultra sensitive and might put me out of my tww misery sooner!

SimJac2025 · 19/02/2025 17:58

@Clara202 Theres a few on ebay but obviously to my postcode but maybe worth a try, seems strange you can't get them without excessive postage! Oh bless you heart things we do eh!!! x

OP posts:
Nosejug · 20/02/2025 08:46

@Clara202 (hi from the other thread 👋) you know, I've also thought about getting frer many times but haven't. I've read through the Amazon reviews, and they're pretty mixed. Like some say other tests showed up earlier than frer. Others say they have evap lines. The clear blue early have a similar sensitivity but are terrible (really fn terrible) for false lines (evaps).I've surmised that pink dye tests (so boots early result) are best. I hope your tww brings the best news.

Clara202 · 20/02/2025 17:58

@Nosejug i have those boots early ones actually. I could possibly open my own store at this point, I have all the supplies! Are they the same sensitivity as frer? 6.3?
I think I just want them so that I can end the tww sooner and move on. I’m usually ok for the first week, but getting into the second week I get impatient

HI how is everyone?

Feeling a bit rubbish. Waiting for the GP to get in touch, finally admitted defeat with my luteal phase being short. AF arrived 9dpo this month.

How are you doing?

SimJac2025 · 25/02/2025 08:08

@littlefox90 Aw hun hopefully they can help. I'm due to be on my fertile window next week but have been poorly with cough cold etc so havent even thought of TTC right now!
