Hi everyone, hoping it's ok to join 👋🏻.

4dpo here (I think!). TTC #2, cycle 4 of trying. I track using the Clue app and usually pretty accurate when I get AF but I think I am ovulating late this month - wide awake at 4am with cramps, backache. Also noticed more CM than usual today so maybe not 4dpo at all. Possibly time.to try OPKs if we don't get a BFP this time. Hope I'm using these acronyms correctly 😂 - it's been a while, DS is nearly 7. Anyone else going for #2 with a big age gap?

36, tentatively TTC #2. Only got expired tests until 1pm today (yay for prime) and a bit dejected this morning. AF was due 2-3 days ago.

caveat - these are 2 years out of date

yesterday -FRER, 2 HCG and one LH
today - 2 HCG, one LH

was a bit dejected at the lines then realised they all could be false due to lack of in date tests. They’re not as dark as I’d want them to be but I got so obsessive before in trying to avoid a repeat.

i caved and tested this morning and think I can see an absolute squinter! I’m 11 dpo and it was only a cheapy home bargains test so will do a FRER tomorrow 🤞

really want a 2nd but terrified following a horrific first pregnancy and birth

spent the last 1.5 years getting into shape to consider pregnancy but also got the mental barriers to consider.

we’ve started not using protection so not preventing, not trying. Also been taking folic acid for months as a prep

I so want a 2nd child, but so scared for what this will potentially do to me.

No cycle tracking and breastfeeding still

I’m so impatient I've done an FRER - the worry has set in already as I feel like the line should be darker than this? I’m 11dpo today and this was second urine of the day, I suppose I can only wait and see but has anyone had similar at this stage to reassure me?

OMG, POAS when I woke up and forgot to look within the time, it was probably half an hour ago but I’ve just gone back and looked and seen this!! I mean it’s out of the time window but I’ve never ever had one change like this out of the window? I’ll have to do another after a hold to see. 11dpo today, I did notice my temp climbed higher today.

My daughter is 5 and will be 6 by the time another baby comes at least
i think its lovely as you get time with each but seeing how hard it can be to get pregnant, we are lucky whatever age gap if we can have more! Best of luck ❤️

Sorry to jump on, but I’m currently between 8-5 dpo unsure as I didn’t do any ovulation tests. Currently month 1 TTC #1 and I know it’s far too early but I have cramps and sore boobs maybe I’m just wanting it too much and imagining things as after googling it’s too early for symptoms.

I’d say that’s a positive! 🍀

OMG! That looks positive to me even if it was out of the time window ☺️ you’re much more likely to get a false negative than a false positive! Let us know what the next test looks like 🤞 x

I’ve researched this a bit too but not taken it before… from what i’ve read it helps women who have had MC due to their uterine lining being too thick? As baby aspirin thins the blood it helps with implantation but it should only be taken after ovulation until AF. If you do have heavy periods it might be worth a shot? Mine are too light to consider this but i’m glad i’m not the only one that’s searching for other things to try 😅 x

Did another one but it was literally half hour after the first so not probably not a long enough hold as that was white. I’ll try and hold off until tonight or tomorrow morning and see! Was such a shock when I saw it though, never ever had a proper visible second line

I know it sounds so stupid but i’m thinking if there is no major side effects, for me it’s worth a go just this cycle… as they are so heavy i’m thinking it would take a lot to bury inside so we’ll see. I’ve taken a few but not been religious about it… as implantation usually occurs now on 6dpo i’ll take one a day and just wait…. Xx

today’s test expired march 22. Yesterday’s expired July 22. Suddenly not feeling very positive.

I’m so thrilled for you honestly! Like you said it probably was just because you didn’t hold long enough, hopefully a nice line will appear for you again tonight or tomorrow 🤞☺️

It’s definitely worth a go ☺️ like you said I don’t think there’s any major side effects and it obviously works for some people as i’ve heard of gynae’s suggesting it. Fingers crossed it does the trick🤞 x

A line is a line. Line progression can be used to see how things are trending but it's not science and how much water you've been drinkinggn can have a massive impact. You've had multiple positives across several different tests - you're definitely pregnant! Congratulations.
