TTC #1 cycle #1 and I think 2/3 DPO - anyone else want to join the wait with me? 🥰

@Em3009 thanks 🙏🏼🙏🏼 it's good to remember that we are not alone in this.. you are in the beginning of your new cycle, right? I remember you said AF came, in which Cd are you now? And yes, I am hoping for a BFP before Christmas 🤞🏼✨🫶🏼

Yeah I will admit I’ve found it quite a hard few months. I feel like I’ve almost hit pause on life a little, but trying not to do that anymore and make a conscious effort to still live in the moment. I find all the testing / tracking quite stressful, but think I would be more stressed not knowing if that makes sense? I like know when to expect AF.. my cycles aren’t irregular but can vary a little from 27-31. So if I didn’t track and was expecting AF at CD27, but she didn’t arrive for 4 days and I was getting BFN thinking I was late I think I’d be more sad/confused.

It’s nice that there is a corner of mums net for support in my opinion as I haven’t told friends/family were trying. Also, all my friends were very lucky and got pregnant in the first 1 or 2 tries and went on to have normal healthy pregnancies so I am not sure they could relate to me at this point as none of them tracked or anything!

@pcbrb so I’m CD5 today, NC is predicting ovulation around CD21 but I’m not gonna track this month 😬🙈

@KT199 hey I can fully relate to what you say, we are in a very similar situation and we also have not told Anyone we know, with the hope of easing possible pressure.. so here in muns net is where I have my support net :) and with my friends is the same.. the ones that got pregnant, did it in the first two cycles maximum, so yeah, here we are 😅 and I feel also the same about charting.. even though we can't control anything with charting, at least we have information, so if (I hope will not be case) we end up needing help from a fertility specialist, with the charts I hope to have information that could at least help.

@Em3009 well if it would be because of my BBT I would say I did not ovulate 🫠 cause it's so low or I don't see a shift at all.. but I'm remaining calm, cause I had a lot of signs of ovulation (cramps on just one side, wet CM, positive OPK) but the temperature don't align.. so only time will tell.. I'm sleeping better this cycle as the last one, so that's a win 🫶🏼 and cool for you that you will make it without tracking! A lot of baby dust to you ✨🤞🏼

Agreed! I have tried to get ahead a little in terms of the testing and I’ve paid to have all my hormones tested and a pelvic ultrasound and everything appears okay! My OH hasn’t had a proper sperm analysis yet as he feels the idea of it is too much.. so he did an at home one which again the results were fine.. so, that’s reassuring but I’m also like so whys it not worked yet 🤣 anyway, patience is key and I’m trying to just remain calm but as I approach 7DPO this is when I start to drive myself crazy 😂 so the next week will be difficult and I will probably cave and test early at 10DPO

I'm now on cd10, going to use opks this cycle and see what happens. Ovulation is predicted for 5th/6th dec.

I can see a shift on your chart. It may not be huge like some but can definately see how the temps are more above your cover line after your positive opk x

I see what you mean too, here’s a photo of mine.. I think mine looks more like I ovulated at CD17, but it’s saying CD19.

Temping can be unreliable as there’s a lot of caviats to making sure it’s accurate. Having to temp at same time everyday, after 4 hours undisturbed sleep, without having got up and out of bed. Even the bedroom temperature can affect it!

@Em3009 @KT199 yes, and today my temp is back up and I guess tomorrow will be back up 🫠 I just hope I ovulated 🤞🏼

I've been spotting since Friday evening 😔 might call the hospital tomorrow to see if I need to be checked out. Just over 6 weeks now. Feeling really awful, so nauseous and tired 🤢

Good morning! Ohh no... I hope is nothing bad! Have you been doing tests? If yes, are they still dark? I've seen some pregnancies with spotting that have no meaning in the end... so hoping that this is the case for you 🙏🏼

I’d try and get seen by the EPU, I think they suggest that just to double check when there’s spotting. Hopefully they will be able to put your mind at rest. Keeping everything crossed for you 🤞🏻

My GP called me in this morning with a potential B Strep infection from a test I had done nearly a month ago 🤦🏼‍♀️ so might need antibiotics for that. I mentioned the spotting to him. He's called EPAS for me to get me an early scan. Just waiting to hear back!

@TinyShrew17 ahh hope they can get you in for a scan. It must be stressful but there’s a good chance there’s nothing to worry about, and you said you still have all your symptoms just as strong 🙏🏻

Got me in for a scan tomorrow at 10:30. Bleeding hasn't got any worse, still just spotting. Really hoping that the fact I feel so sick is a good sign 🤞🏼🤞🏼

Doing ok, now on cd14 ovulation predicted for 3 days. I have some mild cramping and bloating so may be slightly earlier. Using opks and Premom app which said high today but not quite at peak. Curious as to how accurate it is at reading the tests.

@CraftyBugger hello :) this is first me the first month using the premom app and the OPKs but I have read/learnt is that the peak will only be identified, when a reading lower than the previous one is logged... and everything above "1" will be read as high.. so when you you log a test with less that 1.2 the app should record the previous one as peak

As for me, I am in DPO 8 and my temp went super up today... I'm wondering if its a fluke temperature or if its actually that high 😂 my last LP was only 9 says long.. so today will be a big day, to see if AF comes or not 👀

Morning ladies,

10 DPO according to my apps, but I felt I was 12 from my temps. Big dip today close to cover line, which would normally happen for me on 12 DPO, with AF arriving tomorrow. I haven’t tested this month, as I haven’t felt any symptoms or need to really, which actually felt quite nice. Sore boobs started yesterday which is another sign of AF for me too, so I think I am out but will update tomorrow!
