Early bfp?

I am 3 months postpartum and had my first period 4 weeks ago. My next one was due today. For the past week I've felt weird, like I've felt like I know I'm pregnant but was just sort of waiting to find out. I've been really hungry and tired but also had really strong period pain for about a week. I think I actually ovulated 5 days later than my app said so my period should be due today but I actually think it should be due in about 5 days. I had these tests this morning but then negative on an ultra early digital?

@jadeyjadee ahh that's great, I think it's a good sign it's progressing. Hope you can get some reassurance from the scan. I'm definitely tempted to book mine, I'll probably try to do it in the beginning weeks of July, which feels so long 😂

Yeah definitely and hahah mine is next Wednesday and even that seems ages away haha! The pink test is literally just a cheap one from home bargains. They were 2 for 99p hahaha

Urgh my tests are not progressing last 2 days. It feels light for dpo 13?

@Lemonbalm8 I can see a definite progression there! Maybe you ovulated slightly later? It defo looks like they are getting darker. I reckon if you did one of the 6 days early digital ones now it would be positive x

Those strip tests take ages to darken.

BeingATwatItsABingThing · 18/06/2024 13:55

These were my tests when pregnant with DD2. She’s now a wonderful, energetic feral 3yo. As you can see, the strip tests are much fainter.

Thank you @jadeyjadee @BeingATwatItsABingThing

I have weeks 1-2 pregnant. I know I'm pregnant but not having any symptoms and having had many MCs, the mind just wonders why the last two days are the same 🙈 will test tomorrow morning and hopefully it's darker. I also have frer coming tomorrow.

I didn't get any symptoms with my daughter until I was over 6 weeks pregnant. This time I'm having some weird symptoms like sore throat and really vivid dreams. I am tired and have some very mild nausea occasionally but haven't stayed with any of the typical pregnancy symptoms as such like vomiting and sore boobs. I think each pregnancy is different but I'm sure your symptoms will come soon :). I did another frer earlier. I am pretty happy with how dark the tests are getting now and am purely just taking the tests now to use them up as I won't need them again and because I know this will be my last pregnancy so won't have to POAS again after this! 😂

Did you take this frer today? It looks dark 💚
I know, I have a stock of tests and more coming tomorrow, I've really given in to testing but feel like what else can I do at this stage...
That's so true, each pregnancy is different. I think my only symptom that I can think of are occasional headaches, and I can't remember having headaches with my son but maybe I forgot. I think I need to stop comparing to my MCs, this pregnancy feels different, there is more progression to start with.

Yes literally about an hour ago haha! Yeah just try concentrate on the fact that today you are pregnant! ☺️ easier said than done I know! When do you plan to book your early scan? X

I think I'll book it next week, to be in 3 weeks 🙏🏻 I should be 7 weeks then. I hope to see the heartbeat then

jadeyjadee · 18/06/2024 17:40

@Lemonbalm8 yeah you should definitely see it by then! I'm wondering if I booked mine for too early. It's next Wednesday when I will be 6+1. I know it will just send my anxiety through the roof if it's too early and I have to go back! But it's also sending my anxiety through the roof not knowing now if everything is okay and where it is supposed to be

@jadeyjadee I don't think 6 is too early, as long as you don't expect a heartbeat as I've heard too many stories of heartbeat showing in the middle of week 6 or early 7. If you've also ovulated later. But you should be able to know it's in the right place, but for that you could go even earlier at week 5.5.

Ooh right! I kind of was expecting a heart beat and would probably stress so much if they couldn't find out so I'm not sure if I should push it back hahah

Is 6+1 from lmp? You mentioned you might have ovulated 5 days later? If it's from when you think you ovulated, I think you could potentially see a heartbeat. Yeah it would stress me too much too 🙈 it's so tricky though isn't it

I had my early scans at around 8w because, whilst I’m impatient, not seeing a heartbeat would have been horrendous for me.

jadeyjadee · 19/06/2024 09:31

Yeah it is. Does it still go off that date and not when I actually ovulated? X

Yeah the doctors will still only take last period, but if you know you ovulated 5 days later, you might be 5+2

How are you @jadeyjadee ?

I decided to stop testing and booked a scan for 7 weeks. Hoping for the best. Just need to keep mega busy for few weeks.

I'm good thanks you, how are you? Yeah I've just been using up the last of my tests. I used my last one this morning and still very dark 😀. I was going to postpone my scan but the place I go to is closed for 3 weeks after next week so I'm still going to go and hope for the best. If it is too early to see anything I will book another one somewhere else a week or 2 later x

I'm good, it's nice to have something planned like the scan, time is going very slowly. I also did a test and it was darker so I binned all my tests outside 😂 are you taking any vitamins or supplements?

jadeyjadee · 21/06/2024 13:39

Yeah it is. Time is a funny one for me. It feels like it's going slow when I think about the pregnancy but at the same time it's going fast with my little girl haha! I am taking folic acid and pregnacare. Are you?
