Currently TTC number 2 and struggling after getting pregnant fairly easily with number 1 (on cycle 3)!
Thought I'd start a thread so we can all support each other. Anyone else on their TTC journey for number 2? I am currently on cycle 7 and have ruled myself out already as negative pregnancy test at 10DPO. Each month I convince myself that I am pregnant! Experienced a chemical at cycle 3 😩

@LemonBitter sorry that’s rubbish. What do you think you’re going to do going forward for next cycle? Seems quite common for cycles to go a bit haywire after first baby.

Thank you, well I usually don’t test and just wait for temp to drop but I guess this time I’ll see what’s happening on Friday which is when I’d expect af or at least the obvious cramping to start.

@Mummio92 very strange!! Honestly no idea, I think just keep taking OPKs a bit longer than I did the last few cycles... wish I knew why everything is suddenly all over the place, I was so regular before last cycle.

Oooh ok fingers crossed. I hate waiting and wishing time away!

@LemonBitter what CD did you do your last OPK this time round?

Yes me too, makes the days really drag and hard not knowing how many months of this might be ahead

CD 16 last cycle, I should have carried on! Just want AF to show up now so I can get cracking again. Was thinking of starting to take pregnacare supplements or similar, do you take any?

Thanks @HRHXO and @Mummio92 - I ran out at lunch and got the CB digital in weeks and it confirmed 1-2 weeks. Early days but tentatively excited 😊

@LemonBitter I haven’t really been consistently taking any vitamins and last time I took them for ages and then stopped and got pregnant once I’d stopped so don’t know how much difference it really makes.

Ladies… am I going mad? Still no AF today (was due yesterday). Did another test and I swear there’s a faint line? Maybe not, Eugh I don’t know.

@Sevillegarden do you?! Argh I don't know I don't want to get my hopes up as I feel like it should be much darker... unless I ovulated late I guess 🤷🏼‍♀️

I really do see it and it seems to have a pink tinge which I've always found hard to capture on a photo. I found it so hard to manage my expectations and to allow myself to feel hopeful (and sometimes even to trust my own eyes!) - so when you say you don't want to get your hopes up, I hear you.

Can you get hold of a digital? I was nervous because my first positive test was so faint but i ovulated later in my cycle and everything is a bit altered since having my first - perhaps this is going on for you, too. Having the digital confirmation was good and my lines got darker when I tested this morning.

It's so difficult isn't it. How are you feeling now? I bet seeing it in black and white (grey) on the digital was such a relief!!

Good idea on the digital, I can't get one today so will test again tomorrow morning with the same type as today then go and get a digital after depending what it looks like!

I was honestly so surprised when it came up positive. It's all sinking in now. I'm privileged in that I can allow myself to feel optimistic as I have no reason not to, so I'm going to try to manage any creeping anxious thoughts that way.

I hope it's positive news for you tomorrow and you're not too consumed with it all today, although I appreciate it's almost impossible not to be.

@Sevillegarden that's so good 😊 really happy for you and hoping it goes the same way for me.. it's taking everything to not do another test today but I know there won't be much difference so just need to wait... luckily work is busy so is a bit of a distraction!

Hi ladies, 8dpo today, no symptoms but tested this am and it was a BFN not surprisingly but I'm still a bit gutted about it. It's still early, AF not due until next Monday anyway!

So nice seeing more and more BFPs in this thread though! Trying to stay positive that I'll be joining you all soon ✨️

@LemonBitter that definitely looks like a line!! And as you never got a peak OPK, that suggests you ovulated later than expected which would fully explain a faint line at this stage.
Fingers crossed for you and will be eagerly awaiting tomorrow’s test.

@Mummio92 yeah I'm thinking that could be what happened? Trying to not get my hopes up but still no sign of AF either!

@HRHXO it's still very early!!! You're not out til AF arrives.. that's what I'm finding very true at the moment xx

@LemonBitter with all the BFPs being posted I got swept up and did a test, I’m only 9dpo but I think there’s a hint of a line 😱it’s too faint to post a pic so I’ll have to wait until tomorrow but it really does look like there could be something… don’t want to get carried away though

I see a line ☺️ I would say give it a couple of days and do a digital bit I couldn't wait 😂 do you have cheapies to do another for now for reassurance? Maybe tomorrow morning? Then you can do a digital in a few days. 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼 for you but I definitely see something xx
