CD1 entering 3rd month TTC (next fertile window 8th - 17th march)

Would anyone like to join me on the TTC for March 2024

Going into my 3rd month TTC for my rainbow baby after a loss in 2007 at 7 weeks, I'm now 34 (35 in June) and TTC for our first baby with me and my DH

The last 2 cycles my body has played horrible tricks on me, so i have been keeping a log of my symptoms.

I'm not ready to do opks or bbt just yet trying to do natural and less stressful but did have 21 day bloods and day 3 bloods done and the results come back good, i do have PCO cysts in my ovaries and my DH has good sperm he had this tested last year.

I'm now 6 days late and another bfn this morning. Any hopes I had that the spotting was implantation are gone. So frustrated. Going to give it another 3 days and if I'm still negative then I'll start using opks.

Which opks would everyone recommend? AF has arrived for me today but getting prepared to start again and wondering if I should maybe start charting. Going to try and lose a bit weight too. I'll try anything!

@Custardcreammachine I use clear blue digital, I quite like how black and white they are about when you're fertile/peaking etc. They're more expensive (£20 per cycle) but there's no squinting at lines.

@YorkshirePeridot I use the easy at home ones on Amazon. It's around £10 for 25 of them, they're easy to read once you get the hang of it. I use the free version of premom too and it reads the test for you so you can see the progression easily.

@Custardcreammachine i use the wandfo ones from Amazon. They are a bit wider and easier to read. And fairly cheap!
@YorkshirePeridot im sorry this is so frustrating. This has happened to me before when I’ve been very stressed out? I believe that stress can cause havoc with hormones. I hope your period comes soon x

im feeling a little less grumpy than yesterday. Had a good cry with my husband and ready to move onto next month. The bottle of prosecco yesterday helped too 😂
I’ve read him the riot act about hot baths and I’m going to start taking low dose aspirin again this month.
Would be great to go onto the next cycle with some buddies again.

Oh no that is strange, has your period ever been like this before late for no reason?

Sorry to hear AF come, sending you baby dust for April, id ditn use opk or BTT myself I just DTD every 3 days after my period ended and stop 3 days before its due but ended up stopping 2 weeks as felt funny, but I prefer not to stress for my body and mind

@UnicornPrincessSarah I've been on various bc for 15 years, most recently the implant where I just had light, irregular bleeding. Which means that I have no idea what's normal for me. 🤷‍♀️ I did have spotting when my period was due but it was lighter even than the spotting I had at ovulation this month. Maybe my hormones are still regulating after so long.

@YorkshirePeridot Ah yeah could be that body is still trying to adjust fro, the implant when did you have that removed?

@UnicornPrincessSarah end of December, so three months ago now. They were so keen to tell me how quickly you can get pregnant after removal, it took some real digging to find that it's not that easy!

@YorkshirePeridot Yes sometimes im not sure the GPS even know what they are doing lol, but most of them do say to allow 1 year at least for hormones to settle again, I was on the injection 2007 to 2012 then stopped everything

I'm now 10 days late. BFN this morning on FRER so definitely not pregnant but no idea if/when I will/have ovulate so no idea when AF will come. I'm a way I'm happy to wait another week as then my due date if I got pregnant next cycle would be mid January rather than new year/early Jan. But would like to know soon as well! I swear it must have been the antibiotics I was on but that was after I thought and was predicted to ovulate so didn't think it would effect it that much and everyone said it wouldn't anyway!

@Grace185 BFN this morning also. LH level yesterday rose but not high. 0.53 no sign of AF. Sometimes feel pain in pelvis or tingly boobs but nothing else so no idea what so ever. Hope I still ovulate but not sure if no AF. I had one last month all be it light.

@Grace185 I was also on antibiotics this month in the run up to ovulation, the gp said it would have no effect on my cycle but who knows! 7 days late and bfn.

Weirdly yesterday I had a lot of EWCM and some other symptoms which I associate with ovulation. It's probably nothing but no harm in dtd anyway!

@Rosyposy26 yeah I'm getting twinges but I'd rather AF just arrive and we can start afresh!

@YorkshirePeridot same! I have had a lot of CM throught and not dried up at all. Didn't DTD for a week + when I was ill/getting better so I'm definitely not pregnant at all until I pass next Tuesday (2 weeks after starting DTD again) so we'll see!

@Grace185 me too but doesn’t appear to be coming yet. Started LH tracking again getting random results. Seems to be rising.

@YorkshirePeridot and @Rosyposy26 hows it going? Still no AF for me annoyingly!

Still no AF for me either. Spoke to doctor today and he said to give it a couple months and return in June if nothing happened or haven’t conceived. Just wish AF would come so can restart it at least have a BFP. Still did loads and just going with it just incase. OPKs are really low also after a small increase the other day.

No period for me either, definitely not pregnant. My current theory is that I didn't ovulate as I've done some cheapie opks this week (didn't want to waste the digital ones if nothing was happening) and I seem to have caught a peak yesterday!

How strange that I’m not the only one who hasn’t ovulated this month! How are we all feeling?

I don’t think I did either and CD35 and still waiting for AF.

@Rosyposy26 Are you tracking at the moment?

Yep every morning doing LH and at moment vvvfl then check again later and line a bit stronger do easy at home pregnancy test and that is always BFN no evap or indent either.

i have twinges and cramps CM goes from sticky to nothing was watery last week.

did wake up in night to go to loo last night which isn’t usually me.

One week into the two week wait. Did a test this morning and it’s negative, I know it’s too early but can’t help feeling disappointed ! Anyone got any kind words or advice ? Xxx
