2024 is the year for my bfp I feel it, anyone else??

Period arrived for me today right on time! Despite not tracking this month using OPKs I predicted my ovulation right because period has arrived 2 weeks later.
On to cycle 9...

@MrBigsCat ah I’m so sorry about your dodgy tests, how unbelievably frustrating! I’ve heard Clear Blue ones can be really dodgy too when it comes to evap lines etc.

Currently on CD21 and a few rises but no peak. I've been using OPK and BBT tests-never been later than CD16...making this cycle sooo much longer (more mentally than physically longer). Anyone else still waiting?

Hello everyone! Joining this thread as well - I'm TTC baby number 1, I'm 28 years old. I've had two miscarriages and a chemical, with the most recent miscarriage early 2023. I took some time off TTC but my DP and I have decided 2024 is the year to start trying again.

I'm currently 8DPO, lots of discharge and feeling a bit crampy here and there, trying not to symptom spot but it's so hard not to!

Do any of you do the Clearblue ovulation tests? I did one on day 10 and 11 and was just a plain circle. Did one today (day 12) and it says peak ovulation. No flashy smiley face at all? I’m not really sure what to do? I don’t feel like I’ve ovulated.

@Wictc I don’t use clear blue ovulation tests (I just use the cheapies!) so difficult to say but maybe you had a very quick LH surge so that’s why you skipped the flashing smiley?

@Wictc I do! The flashing smiley tests for oestrogen rising, and the static smiley shows LH rise. So it's measuring 2 different hormones. It may be that you just have a quick oestrogen rise (which usually happens in the lead up to LH rising).

Do you know that means in terms of ovulation? Have inputted into Kindara and Fitbit. Kindara shows peak day on Friday and Fitbit says tomorrow. I’m on day 12 today, when I’ve managed to get pregnant before (although not to fruition!) it’s always been through sex on day 12 and 14 but maybe I used to ovulate later? Do you know when would be the best time for sex with a quick rise? I think I need to read up more on hormone surges!

@Wictc I’m not 100% sure I’m afraid - I think ovulation is more of an art than an exact science - sometimes I would get contradictory dates on Flo / Fertility Friend so I think the best thing is just to DTD as much as you can over your fertile week to make sure you have yourself covered? Could try following the sperm meets egg plan, I know lots of people have had success with that (although unfortunately I am not one of them!)

@Wictc I'm not too sure - essentially you still want to be dtd in the days leading up to the static smiley. Women have different level of all our different hormones so it's hard to know what is going on exactly in our bodies! Which can be super frustrating. I've had no days of flashing smiley and the first full cycle after my most recent miscarriage I had 7 days of flashing!

Thanks both. I didn’t start testing on the day they recommend, so not sure if that’s something to do with it. I don’t feel like I’ve ovulated yet. I think I’ll ditch the tests, they cause too much stress and uncertainty!

@hopingforapeainapod how're you doing? I've entered FW weeks now, here we go again cycle 12!

@Wictc I get this if I use them too late in my cycle! It hasn't detected the "rise" in estrogen as it was already there when you started them. So it's jumped up to LH solid peak!

@Angelselevenx Well I've tested today and got peak solid smiley two days early! Haven't had sex since Friday and Saturday last week, so DTD tonight and tomorrow, maybe Friday and hoping for the best. I am wondering if all the supplements has made my cycle shorted which wouldn't be a bad thing.
Are you using the clear blues too?

I use cheapy OPK as my two digital clearblue holders aren't working, complained though and they're sending me new ones.

I'm CD16 so due to O on Saturday or Sunday. Going to DTD tonight, Friday Saturday and Sunday and if I can, Monday 😆

How is everyone getting on - I'm 10DPO today, anyone on the same timeline as me? x

Here's my 10DPO test - with my previous two pregnancies (both losses sadly), I had positives from 8/9DPO so I'm quite sure I'm out this month but ready for the next cycle - I plan on trying ovulation tests and the sperm meets egg plan x

I’m about 12dpo and too scared to test!! Keep thinking I am, then the chances are tiny! I’m trying to wait to see if the red witch arrives on Sunday!

Ahhh that's so annoying! How long have you had the holder for? I've had one since August haha I don't want use to new one as I read it gets more accurate the more you use it, god knows if that's true! But it's done me well so far. Glad they've sent you a new one! I did that clue blue study ages ago and been hooked on them since 🙃

I'm ovulating today I think which is good as had big BBT drop this AM. DTD last night and will do tonight aswell.

Awh it's so much better when ovulation falls on a weekend, the motivation is easier to keep going 😂

Woohoo that's great! We dtd last night, LH has started to rise so I should peak tomorrow which will last until Saturday with O hopefully on Saturday or Sunday 🤞🏼

I know 😂 my OH works a shift pattern though so he's on nights Sunday, will have to have a day deed 🤦🏽‍♀️

@Angelselevenx heya, I’m CD30, AF due today, no sign yet but just did a test and it’s a BFN :( my bbt is quite low and I’ve woken up with a headache so I’m sure AF is on her way and just teasing me. I shouldn’t have tested really, it just puts me in an awful mood and now I have to go to work (I’m a teacher) and put on a brave face. Hope you (and others!) are having more luck than me!

@Angelselevenx AF has officially arrived, so at least she didn’t make me wait!! I have an appointment with a different doctor on Monday so I’m just holding onto the hope that she can give me some answers. I spotted for 9 days before AF this month so I refuse to believe this ‘unexplained’ malarkey!!
