Af just arrived so I'm officially out for this month :(

I don't usually get the opportunity to drink, but had couples glasses wine for Christmas Day as sister in law literally forcing me even though I kept saying No thank you, I'm fine and trying not to drink the wine in the glass....as I'm just not in the mood or bothered about drink. Anyways probably won't drink much until I test or get AF,who knows , I've no feeling towards either.....

Nah we don't do much for new year either. I'm not drinking, really put myself off alcohol the other week! Usually asleep before midnight 🤣🤦‍♀️

@starryx You know something I really bloody hope so for you hun 🤞🤞 I also actually feel something for this month too, I also keep having things about twins pop up, dreams, etc 🙈 I'd love twins! I'd love anything but I've always loved the thought of twinnies! 💖

Also with the clearblue digital ovu after you've had the static is that it? Like you don't have to test again? It's the 4 day one & this is the first of me using it!
To be fair I've fell pregnant both drinking & not drinking, but I prefer not. I really knocked myself with processco on my works Xmas party 🙈🙈 x

Hi everyone moving over from (mostly silently) following the December threat now I'm into next cycle. Am due to ovulate over the weekend when we are staying with my brother in law and family..... not sure how I'm going to manage testing/DTD whilst we are there 🤦🏽‍♀️
Also got my first gynae appointment tomorrow after potential burst cyst last cycle and slightly terrified!

First month TTC with deeply infiltrating endometriosis. Flo app says I ovulate from 31st Dec to Jan 6th... don't think it's very accurate but hey ho!

Hi ladies, first proper month TTC number 2.
im 40. I’ve just entered my high fertility and peak is apparently from tomorrow. We’ve got our DC5 with us so it’s proven hard so far to DTD. We tried earlier when she was starting to nap but failed as she woke up 😂 hopefully she settles early tonight and we can try. Will be a September baby ladies if we get BFP!!!!

Yes, that’s right. Once you get a static, don’t test again. It will give you confusing results as it’s not designed to be used again until the following month.

I’m 6dpo and know I will be testing tomorrow morning despite that being ridiculous! I did get a positive 8dpo and 9dpo with my other two, but I wouldn’t have at 7 and know how unlikely that is.

im feeling very nervous about the coming days and testing. I won’t be deeply disappointed if it’s negative as this is the first month, but i still feel nervous!

I also feel funny in myself. Really achey around front low abdominal and back, such strong breastfeeding aversion and sensitive boobs, so it’s hard not to symptoms spot!

@LuceNumberTwo the smiley face shoukd stay now for 48 hours. My strip tests never read high on the premom app even when ive had a peak on clearblue 🫤

@PeekABoo22 I have been drinking but I probs wont now as dont plan on going out anywhere for the next couple of weeks but also dont think it makes much of a difference! X

@SlinkMcSlink I’m CD6 today, Flo is predicting my ovulation to be on the 5th.

My cycles are a bit all over the place, the last one was 30 days, the one before 23 (!!), and the one before that 29 days. Every 3/4 months I get a random really short cycle, my average is 27 days according to Flo.

I use the clue app, does anyone else? Vs never used Flo. I've never tracked my ovulation with sticks but think I will start. DC1 was a happy accident.

@Wyewaving i don’t always trust flow as it’s saying I ovulate on January 8th which would be cd 17 but that seems late to me.

To be fair, I’m on a couple of different apps but who knows which one is correct?

LH seem to be the best option but nothing has happened yet x

Hi, I've been lurking for a few days. We lost our baby boy at 16.3 days at the beginning of December. We'd love to ttc in January, but I'm about to turn 38, so I'm conscious this might not happen easily. Wishing you all lots of luck 🍀

4dpo today and I have had the occasional mild cramp which isn't normal for me but also I think is too early for implantation pain. No boob soreness. As strange as this sounds at the moment I think I would be too bothered if it is a negative this cycle as it is only my first cycle for TTC number 2 but then saying that I bet next week I will be disappointed if it is negative.
In regard to drinking I am still drinking as I am enjoying the festive period with family and don't plan on stopping until I get a BFP. TBF outside of the festive period I don't drink a lot.

@GoldenArrow when I used to be on a 28 day cycle I used to ovulate on day 14. So I would say Google may be more correct then Flo in this case

Also joining, TTC baby no.1, this month will be first cycle for us! I’m on CD14, I think I tend to ovulate between CD17-21 as I have slightly longer cycles, been BBT’ing for a while now but never done OPKs or anything like that as we haven’t been TTC. Exciting!

@PeekABoo22 I only started using ovulation sticks last month. They really do help to understand what is actually going on. Last month I ovulated late on CD 17 then was 5 days late because apparently the luteal phase is always the same (mine must be about 14 days) but without checking I would have 100% just thought I was pregnant and would have got negatives so glad I was doing them. X

Thanks ladies. I hope so too. I'm enjoying all of the Christmas booze and food at the moment though.
We have dtd, but I've no idea if I'd even ovulate this month, so January is our official first month of ttc.

You can’t know unless you track. There really isn’t any set date that women with a 27 cycle ovulate on, it’s different for everyone. My cycle was 27 days last month and I ovulated on day 14, but this cycle I ovulated on day 12. I have a friend with a 27 day cycle who ovulated every month on day 10!

Yeah my ovulation days definitely fluctuate.. November's AF was super early so knocked ovulation back, also shortened my cycle for this ovulation so it feels so quick 🤣 who actually knows I don't think anythings 100%! Just have to DTD & hope for the best

So I got my clearblue Static smiley 2 days ago. Which has now gone off the test, but I was also taking easy at home strip tests, usually when I ovulate the line goes really dark, but this time, yes it did go dark but not a dye stealer as previously has been! I know I shouldn't worry because I got the static smiley & that's enough to go by but I'm confused.

I've attached two pics (the test on its own how it usually goes during peak, the multiple one is this peak.. I know they've gotten darker just not as dark - the bottom is this mornings so I'm obviously over my peak)
I know I'm waffling but just wanted to see if anyone had the same before 🙈 x
