Anyone TTC Dec 2023

Just looking for some company with ladies planning TTC 2023. There's already a thread for Jan 2024 but would be nice to keep company for Dec :)
Initially planned to start TTC 2024 Jan but it's feels time is going too slow and too broody now.
Also, worried about age turned 34 few months ago and feel clock is ticking(just my opinion).

I am 9dpo and had a reddish-brown bleeding today with cramps. AF is due in 5 days. I am feeling quite worried as I have been tired with bit of sore boobs and slights cramping here and there. Tested and got BFN. I was hoping I am pregnant but I am feeling very worried and confused now due to this bleeding. Has anyone had any similar experience can someone share any similar experience and help put my mind to rest please 🥺 many thanks

9dpo is still early so it could be the case that might take a few more days to get a BFP. Don't lose hope just yet as it's still very early days 🥰

It's light spotting but red. Sorry for tmi but nothing on the panty liner but only appears when wiping. There has been some cramping as well for an hour. Just hoping for the best

No Christmas luck for us this far. I expected to ovulate between days 12-14 as I have done for the last four months, but I'm on day 16 and still no sign of ovulation being even close. Not even a flashing smiley in sight after seven days of tests and DTD with no end in sight. One ovulation tester has said 'high' chance for eight days now, but neither have detected a peak yet. No temp rise.

Feeling very deflated as this is our first month trying and it looks like I might not even ovulate. I've heard later ovulation means poorer quality egg, so at my age there's even less chance of success even if it does happen. My cycle is usually 27 days on the dot, so no idea what's going on. We should be in our two week wait now, and it's thrown off all my hopes for finding out before a certain date in January (might be about to change jobs, so finding out either way before the 12th January is quite important). Can't control these things though, I guess!

Hey guys, do you mind if I join? I know it’s late in December but I’m ttc baby number 2 (got preg first time round with first). I am currently 10 dpo with a bfn on my tests.. my nipples really hurt which was a pregnancy symptom with my last but previous pregnancy I got a faint positive with my first at 10dpo am so feeling very down I haven’t got a sniff of one yet! Just writing in here for support I guess! 🙏 thanks girlies xx

I’m going to say it here as I darent say it anywhere else, I’m only 5dpo but I do feel pregnant. I’m not taking this too seriously as I’ve been convinced in the past I was pregnant when I wasn’t and then convinced I wasn’t when I was, so I know symptoms mean nothing! BUT I have had sore boobs and breastfeeding aversion since 2dpo and it’s not going. I only have had this previously when pregnant before. I have continued to feel wet when normally CM dries up after Ovulation, and I am have twinges and cramps like I do at ovulation but they are not going.

I could be entirely wrong but just wanted to say somewhere that if I could trust symptoms (which I know I can’t!) I would be thinking there’s a good chance I am pregnant. We’ll see…

Congratulations to everyone who has their bfp 👏 wee update from me - I had convinced myself my spotting was implantation bleeding and again wouldn’t arrive today. Turns out it arrived late last night. Disappointed is an understatement! On to the next month now.

I’m probably crazy but I’ve actually ordered some at home fertility tests for hubby and I to see if they give us a wee bit more insight into things. If nothing else they’ll make us feel like we’re trying something new 🤷‍♀️

Have been following the thread but just haven't posted yet. Ttc #1 and on cycle 1, 6dpo. Trying not be too obsessive but have been thinking and reading about ttc for the last year so feeling excited/nervous now that we're starting. I had some slight cramping yesterday and light red/brown spotting yesterday and today but not sure when to start testing. AF is due on Monday.

Congratulations on the BFPs so far! How exciting :) keeping fingers crossed for everyone still waiting and starting again next cycle.

Hi 👋🏼 sounds like we're similar. Also first cycle trying for baby #1. I'm 8dpo and only hint of a line I've had was last night's line that came up after about an hour, so I think it's an evap. Took a test today too and it's negative. I've kind of convinced myself I'm not pregnant because I haven't had many symptoms. A little bit of cramping here and there and I had pink on the toilet paper once yesterday but otherwise I feel totally normal. I think I need to track ovulation better next month as maybe I have my dates wrong.

what tests are you using? 🧡

I was getting very obvious negatives on the hcg strips, until the verrry verrrryyyy faintest line at 10dpo on Christmas morning. Super faint. I then took another later that day and it was negative. I then tried again this morning and still a very faint line. I was (vaguely) due on Christmas Day (my cycles have been varied this year - 27-32 days).

I bought an “6 day early” blue dye one today and got this. So don’t lose hope just yet 🤞🏻

Sorry, no @LittleEmmaLou i had a very very faint line on Xmas eve but it was way past the window so I assumed evap tbh.

@Bb542 i also didn’t feel pregnant at all, and at around 9dpo (I think?) I got what I thought was an evap as it came up way past the 5 minutes. A couple of days later I’m getting more lines. The same brand of hcg strip isn’t showing the line much darker even days later, but the 6 days early test is showing quite a strong line. Have you tried the earlies??

Thanks @3ornotto3 . I actually did an early clear blue yesterday and it was negative but then this line came up a few hours later. I didn't even consider it being positive as I'm 99.9% sure it's an evap as it's so thin. Also had a line come up a few hours after on one of the easy @ home tests.

So ttc insanity has hit! I’m first month of ttc no.3. 6dpo and I’ve just tested! Not even using a cheapy but a first response! I 100% know that it will be negative regardless and it’s way too early, yet despite absolutely knowing this I willingly wasted a test 😂I hoped it would ease some of my impatience, which it kind of has actually so that’s something!

I had a positive at 8dpo and 9dpo with my two children, and then did not get a positive until 13dpo with what turned into an early miscarriage. So I can’t help but assume if I am pregnant I will get an early test, but who knows - obviously not at 6dpo though! 🙄This ttc stuff does crazy things to me.

@4LeafCloverBaby no good update this end , no af, bfn this morning.. but if I'd miscalculated O I would be at 9po . Feel VERY periody, had a little cry this morning . How you feeling , have you tested ??

I wasn’t going to test until AF due but caved and took a test with what I thought would be fmu but was actually 2am this morning lol 😂so between 10DPO and 11dpo, I’m due AF on the 30th. It was a BFN and I just feel so deflated, like if it was going to be positive I would have at least a hint of a line by now. We tried so hard this month, had such good ovulation signs, BD‘d like 4 times on fertile days and still no. I’m also going to meet my friend‘s new born tomorrow and hate that I feel jealous instead of just poor joy for them 😓anyone else really struggling this month?

Don't worry, I'm the exact same. Have tested every day the past three days. Wasted two clear blue ones that were both negative. Have more tests on the way. I'm just throwing away my money 🤣 I've a feeling I'm out this month so hopefully I'll be less obsessed with checking next month.

Ha! Me too! I’ve just order £40 of tests off eBay. Ridiculous money. I’m hoping if I get this out of my system this month, next I will be more blaze and hesitant to waste tests!

@jossiwood Sorry to see you think you're out. I still haven't ovulated yet and I was due to ovulate four days ago. Very unusual for me. May I ask what thermometer you use? I think mine may be broken and am in the market for a new one.

@KittyFantastica It's just a real cheapy one, I wouldn't advise it takes approx 10 minutes to read a temp 😂 tbh I'm gonna skip temping next month, I'm far too disorganised to remember to do it , its just another thing to put pressure on me . I'm desperately hoping I'm still in and just too early to show on a test .... well last month I ovulate super early at like cd6... this month thought I found peak on cd12 but then got a massive peak on CD 17 so maybe you're just ovulating later this month ?

@4LeafCloverBaby I'm sorry you're feeling sad I am the exact same. Really tried hard, DTD every day for about 10 days- 2 weeks , I'm sat here questioning how come I've got 2 kids when both were not planned and I wasn't even tryng, it's so depressing!
