Anyone TTC Dec 2023

Just looking for some company with ladies planning TTC 2023. There's already a thread for Jan 2024 but would be nice to keep company for Dec :)
Initially planned to start TTC 2024 Jan but it's feels time is going too slow and too broody now.
Also, worried about age turned 34 few months ago and feel clock is ticking(just my opinion).

Gosh how exciting, I’m scared too! AF due in 3 days, had cramping and spotting for 2 days as of yesterday, but nothing else super obvious like sore boobs or the taste thing!

@4LeafCloverBaby in all honesty I have no idea! My cycles are quite irregular. I’m technically on day 37 of my cycle but only 5dpo (was using ovulation strips). I had a MC in August so my cycles are even worse than before 🫠
Isn’t it annoying trying to guess if symptoms are early pregnancy or AF! X

@tmk yes it’s a pain isn’t it lol. I guess your luteal phase should be about 2 weeks so you should be due around the 28th??

Little update everyone, bleeding continued really bad and painful so definitely a miscarriage/chemical pregnancy. I’m totally devastated and will cry at anything! Had a blood test today for hcg levels but I know this pregnancy is over and I will get back to trying as soon as possible. Even though I didn’t know for very long, it’s still really hard to take in. 😔 sending lots and lots of baby dust to you all and hopefully I’ll be back on this thread with a sticky bfp soon 🥰

Im 6DPO, feels like the longest week of my life, and to top it off today, I spoke to my GP and got referred to a cancer team on the 2 week pathway 🤪👍🏻 gr8. How’ve your days been? 😂😂

(For context, it’s sort of as a precaution as I’ve been having issues for the last few months that don’t seem to be getting better, so they’re low-level querying neck/stomach cancer and just want to rule it out. This will absolutely be a test I want to come back negative 🤣🤞🏻😎)

@3ornotto3 Gosh that sounds awful, very sorry you've got that hanging over you. It's a vague silver lining that you should get some answers soon to move forward, but still terrifying no doubt. Hope you get lots of hugs and support from your loved ones, and that you get the all clear asap! Be extra kind to yourself over this Christmas period.

So I took a digital and it all feels very real now. It's confirmed pregnant.

My husband has had a panic attack despite this being a wanted pregnancy and him saying he's excited so I'm not really sure how to feel now.

Have taken a few different types of tests for early detection after some genuinely promising signs but all negative. AF is due tomorrow, I think I'm out this month guys

I think the idea of something and the reality can hit quite different sometimes! I expect to feel some panic when it eventually happens for us and would say that's quite normal!

How are you both feeling now?

Im still waiting to ovulate and would usually be seeing some results on the digital monitors by now, but nothing yet. Am starting to wonder if I maybe won't ovulate this month, which would suck.

I'm feeling ok. I'm worried about my husband, and my capabilities again. I already have a 2 year old and did have a now ex friend who told me not to have more kids because I can't manage my current one (he's fine and a good kid)

I hope you see some results soon. My son was a suprise ovulation, I had 0 results and still fell pregnant. 🤷

The gp’s literally just text me, and tried to call me but I missed it, saying they’ve referred me urgently. They didn’t use the term “urgent” yesterday, it was rather casual and she almost sounded like she didn’t want/feeel the need to do it but wanted to rule it out, and she actually said it would take a few weeks to hear from the hospital team.

But now this text I’ve just received says I’ve been urgently referred and I’ll hear from the hospital by Friday, to determine whether it’s cancer or not. I’ll literally be on the cusp of finding out whether I’m pregnant or not. Catastrophising here, but what if it is something a little sinister… I won’t be able to have treatment when pregnant 😣 I also have two lovely children already which makes it even harder. I can’t leave them my job isn’t done yet 🥺

Anyways, less negativity - could be nothing terminal/serious 🤞🏻 but fuck me, it’s not the most ideal scenario. Hope you’re all doing ok. I’ve not caught up on the thread yet but hope we’ve had some lovely BFP’s today? 😍 ❤️❤️❤️

@Fawklight how are you feeling now? a good sleep might help it sink in for your DH? It’s normal to have a bit of a spook, everything you’ve discussed is now a reality and we all have wobbles. I hope you manage to have a good chat and ease each others minds ❤️❤️

I miscarried at 11weeks in November, and my first fertile window after the loss is just about to end. Keeping my fingers crossed for all of us 🍀

@Fawklight I can totally imagine that when I actually get pregnant, a bit of panic will be normal! I think we wish to get pregnant for so long - and then if/when it does happen, the reality sets in! Hopefully time will make it a bit easier to come to terms with and speaking to family might make it more exciting for him x
