I am beyond shocked considering our first baby was conceived via IVF.
I'm 2 days late and been getting negatives on cheapies . Took this FRER with second wee of the day. Just so worried why it's so faint? What does everyone think?

I had ivf for ds and kept FRER in business, that’s how the line starts out and will get darker over time.

@Swirls346 Do you know when you ovulated? If not then that could explain the faint line :) Congratulations!

Yes that's why I'm worried. I ovulated 15 days ago. That's when I got a positive ovulation test.

@Swirls346 Could it be that your second wee was more diluted than the first, perhaps? That would make the line lighter. x

@Swirls346 your line is faint because you would have only just missed your period, so hcg is low. Give it a few days and your test will be a darker line,

It’s completely normal to have a faint line, I had much fainter than that after my ivf, I was getting positive faint lines 5 days past embryo transfer. Like I was just just pregnant, they advise you test 14 days after but I just couldn’t help myself. Within a week that line was beetroot red.

Thank you for the reassurance. I just can't believe it just yet. First pregnancy also ivf and I tested at 5days post 5 day transfer and was faint (fainter than this one though), then I tested the next day and stark negative ! I was so upset. Then I waited till the day they told me to test and was such a strong line!! It's hard to get excited just yet x

I've not been able to sleep a wink and did another test this morning (at 430am) and it's even fainter than yesterdays ;( that's not a good sign is it?

I don’t think it’s unusual for the concentration of hcg to vary this early, when was your period due?

I had similar with a clear blue digi, saying 1-2 weeks when I was further on than that, that caused me so much anxiety!

Can you test again this morning at the same time as yesterday morning? And stick to the same times, so you have a clear 24 hours in between?

I would say leave it 2 days and test, but I know you won’t. 🤣

I'm going to say for being 15 days post ovulation it's very faint OP. Too faint x

It's hard to say it not great as these things can change especially if you drank more. How late are you? Can you buy a different brand and try?

Bottom is yesterdays at about 830am
Yesterdays was the second wee of the day as well!
Not going to get my hopes up.
I've got no more tests apart from those cheap easy at home tests.

Thank you just worried why they are faint. But they were negative Monday and Tuesday so maybe just implanted late ?

Yeah, it's really early and the concentration of HCG changes. I don't think you need to read anything into it. I understand how you feel, I had fertility problems for years as well and used to analyse tests. But you've got a positive test - maybe try not to test again for 2 days, and you might see the line get much darker and satisfy yourself. Hope you can feel more relaxed about it soon!

The latest batch of Easy@Homes have been very pale in terms of dye.

They look positive but the early morning one today does look fainter. I've got my fingers crossed for you 🤞🏻

Hi, I really hope everything works out ok for you but last month the same thing happened to me, lines never got darker and then a few days later I had a chemical pregnancy and went back to negative. Just keep an eye. Praying you get better news than me. xx
