Omg I go AWOL for a few days and there’s so much going on in this thread 😂
AF did turn up so I just decided to live a little and have as many coffees as I wanted, drank wine the lot, having a fabulous time with the fam. Back home now and back to TTC - although my CM is clear jelly / stringy and it’s a day after AF?! I can’t be ovulating this early surely. I’m going to do an LH test after I finish typing this 😂

@PADonk im so sorry. I had a feeling (your spotting etc did sound like when I had my MC) but didn’t wanna say that cos I didn’t want to be one of those mumsnetters. Hope you’re okay and just take it easy - it’s awful xxxx

@BB78910 ah I’m glad you managed to have a nice time, the coffee and wine is definitely a major silver lining. I know I went back and read your posts and it was basically identical. Just shite. I’ve got a scan tomorrow as my hcg still isn’t falling fast enough so hoping they can figure out what’s going on and sort it out, just want this one done and to get back to TTC. Let us know what the opk says!

@Roses12345 you were definitely a bit of light relief last week 😂. Any updates? Are you tracking?

@PADonk my hcg hung around for a while tbh, I kept testing a fair bit and it took about 3w after I passed the sac to get to vvvvfl on a 10miu. Again I’m so sorry - hope it’s quite textbook for you (in the nicest way poss) so you can get back in to a cycle.
My LH test obviously barely had a line there 🤣

@BB78910 😂always the way. Thanks - I’m really hoping it doesn’t drag out, the last one was super quick even though I was about double the number of weeks along. Just saps you having to see blood constantly day after day, just want november to be a fresh start (and full of fertile good luck for all of us) xxx

@PADonk i have a good feeling about Nov - although I said that to myself last month.
The baby would be the same due month as my DD so there has to be luck in that x

@BB78910 can I just check if you were on aspirin? I was and I observing if it might have affected things. Just been for scan - no signs of ectopic thank god but lining still a bit thick so taken more bloods again 🥱 and might want to see me again in a week 😭 nurse was lovely though and said if I get pregnant again to ring up asap and tell them she said I can have a progesterone prescription, if nothing else just so I can feel like we’re doing something. Fingers crossed for you too 🤞🏼 xx

@PADonk i wasn’t but I was with my previous pregnancy from 12w. What did they give you aspirin for? Also just wanted to ask - do you have any previous children (not sure if I missed that) cos they’ve not told me to ask for progesterone but hearing from quite a few people they have so I don’t know if it’s something I should be making enquiries about xx

@BB78910 i just prescribed myself after reading up on it but then I’ve since read it can increase the chance of hematomas etc so I stopped again after I started bleeding heavily.

No we don’t have any - I had a an abortion in my early 20s though at about 13 weeks (didn’t realise I was pregnant for ages as I had a heavy bleed early on) so I know I can get there. Do you?

I don’t think there was anything particular on my scan or symptoms that made her think progesterone would definitely help - just the fact we’ve had 2 in a row now and it might help us to feel like we’re being proactive next time / give us slightly better odds. Definitely ask next time though if you want it - very much felt like they’re quite open to prescribing it to anyone who’s had a loss and feeling anxious xx

@PADonk ah I see! I’ve only seen that you can be prescribed baby aspirin if there’s a concern with blood flow to the placenta (which I had low PAPP-A in pregnancy) so they have given me that prescription. I have one child but 3 pregnancies - first was a medical termination for anomalies at 17w which was shit then the next one was fine and then the latest MC so that’s where I feel like I need more support as it is defo an anxious time. Maybe instead of self referring online I’ll do it via GP this time

The nurse’s verbatim words to me were “the guidelines say you have to have a previous loss, be bleeding and have had a scan but there’s no risks from it so we don’t have a problem with giving it out until you get to a scan and heavy wink how am I to know if you’re actually bleeding or not?” So I’d defo try next time.

Did you visit EPU the last time? If they’re anything like mine they’re not a big fan of reading records so you could even say you were told last time you miscarried to call and they would give you a prescription 👍🏼

@PADonk ahhh thank you for that! I defo will if I get pregnant at any point. Tbh I’m so confused with my LHs - according to app I should be ovulating in the next 2 days (I know an app can be wrong) but I did some tests a day after AF, that were darker than what they are now - still not as dark as control line but they should be steadily going up. What is going on

I’m thinking I’ll hit my peak tomorrow (CD12 today) and DTD last night so trying to decide whether to hold off tonight and go for tomorrow or try go for tonight incase tomorrow doesn’t happen for whatever reason!

@Bl1991 no harm in going tonight but if you think that might mean you don’t end up going tomorrow I’d hold off - bit more time between just means it’ll be an extra good batch! 😂

I’m only getting super faint lines on 10mlu tests now and got a flashy smiley on a clear blue test today so hoping my cycles basically nearly back to normal and will ovulate in the next few days 🤞🏼 how’s everyone else doing? Anyone testing or near to? 💕

@PADonk oh wow that’s very quick for ovulation - will you be trying again straight away?

I think I have at least a chance this month - DTD around peak / maybe even on O day and today even though OPK turned lighter but it was just in case. 2WW starts now. Might buy the £1 OPKs tomorrow in boots just in case I didn’t end up ovulating

Really feel like if I missed it this month it would be because of yesterday. But praying this was enough! I’m getting very impatient now. TTC is draining.

@BB78910 well we’ll see if I actually do ovulate 🙏🏼 just want to put this behind us asap so yeah getting back on the trying train as quick as we can 🚂

Why do you think you might not have? Did you get a proper peak and when you normally do? Got everything crossed for you 🤞🏼

@PADonk honestly fingers crossed. I really want this to go well for you. They say the first 3m after a MC is when the risk of it happening again is the lowest. Probably why I’m so frustrated with it taking me 4 already!!
I think it’s because the pattern of days we DTD was kind of like last month and it was a BFN. I’m overthinking it though because O day last month and this month can be different. I think I got a peak on sat when we DTD and then nothing yesterday - I think you don’t O 24-36h after peak it’s after you first see it go darker… I don’t know anymore! 🤷🏼‍♀️
