@babbaganoush mine must have been an indent because I just tested again and it was stark white. I think I see something on yours - hopefully it develops!

Beccylou94 · 23/01/2024 17:43

Thoughts on this?

@babbaganoush I see something very faint - but also I've been burned many times by vvvfl on easy@homes, so I'd say test again.

@Beccylou94 I'm not familiar with those tests, did it come up in the timeframe? It's pretty far so I'm inclined to say positive, but I've had some like that on easy@home that didn't come up in the timeframe that were negative.

Beccylou94 · 23/01/2024 20:27

@Confusedddddddd it's wondfo. Yep came within the time frame. I had a faint positive a week ago but bfn since until today

Foxtrotbeta · 24/01/2024 06:57

I think there's something. Fingers crossed for you @MrBigsCat.

I'm awaiting ovulation again, trying not to test that much this month and trying to just let nature take it's course. No positive lh yet and I'm on like cd19

catness75 · 03/02/2024 22:02

Hello everyone!
Took a few months off had a family bereavement and I've been in hospital but this month's our first month back!
Here is my first of my many negatives I'll get this month 😂 and my line eyes are off!
Got to laugh or i will cry!
Good luck everyone!

JC084 · 04/02/2024 07:22

@MrBigsCat I see your line!

Mine got quite a bit darker. Below the is last night 7pm at 9dpo.
I haven't had a positive until much later the last few times (10-12dpo)
Not getting hopes up yet ... at least trying not to ...

@Beccylou94 good luck!

@catness75 sorry to hear you've had a tough time. Hope you're ok. All the best for trying again

Beccylou94 · 04/02/2024 08:27

@JC084 that's fab! All the fingers crossed

catness75 · 04/02/2024 10:55

@JC084 thanks for your kind words! At this point I don't know whether it's silly to keep trying or not. Had a huge wobble last week and I am getting to the stage where I'm thinking stopping and moving forward with other things is the way to go.

DH wants to keep trying so we will for the time being...I know with time I can accept that it won't happen and I'd quite like to get the process of healing underway!

I just want to not feel absolutely broken when someone tells me they are pregnant if I could do that I'd be really happy!

There is life, a happy one on another road for us I just know it, the first step is to leave this one which I think is the hardest step everything after will come easier.

I admire everyone who keeps trying because this is a hard way to live!

curliegirlie · 04/02/2024 11:33

@catness75 I can really empathise with you. Today is CD1 on something like cycle 25 since losing what was a surprise third pregnancy in March 2022. I know I should probably now accept things (especially as I'm now 41) but it's so hard to actually call it a day. I never imagined I'd still be here, two years later....

catness75 · 04/02/2024 15:05

@curliegirlie it is so tough I am sorry to hear about your loss 🙁. I'm 33 and I don't have any issues, I have regular cycles, what I'd call normal periods, not overly painful or heavy. Only issue I have is i could do with loosing some weight. So really I don't know what the issue is🤷🏻‍♀️ I just know to have a baby would be like winning the lotto for me!

I wish you all the luck in the world, and really really hope it happens for you.

curliegirlie · 04/02/2024 15:35

@catness75 I'm lucky enough to have 2 daughters (who were also a struggle to conceive - and took 16 and 12 months respectively). Have you started to have any tests (CD4, CD21, sperm test etc?). When TTC DD1 my thyroid was an issue and DH's sperm results weren't great, but both daughters were conceived naturally in the end. I don't think I expected a walk in a park this time, but I know so many who managed to conceive in their early 40s (including my mum and gran!) that I just thought it would happen eventually (in a sensible timeframe!). Now I'm not so sure. And it's not helped me get over the MC - even though it was barely a CP...

catness75 · 04/02/2024 16:11

@curliegirlie It sounds silly but I am terrified of the answer. It can't be good news at this point lol so I won't be having tests or anything.
I have had two chemical pregnancies and it does really really hurt!
I see everyone else find it so easy to have a baby. I was also that person, month one of trying I ended up pregnant with my daughter.
I think it's just not meant to be.

curliegirlie · 04/02/2024 17:22

Ahh it's definitely worth having the tests, as there may be an answer that's easy to fix. In my case the tests uncovered hypothyroidism, and once I started on the medication I conceived DD1 in 6 months.

In my case, being quite ancient(!), I probably should have looked into the various supplements that are meant to help with egg quality, as my cycles are now pretty consistent, I get a positive LH test around the same time each cycle, so am fairly confident I'm ovulating. I've taken various things (Pregnacare, Zita thingy DHA) but probably not as consistently as I could have...

JC084 · 04/02/2024 19:04

@catness75 @curliegirlie I totally understand what you are both saying. I have had the 5/6 months from hell. Have been pregnant 3 times but none have progressed past 6 weeks.
It's heartbreaking.
I have regular cycles, regular periods, no obvious issues. I am booked in for the recurring miscarriage clinic next month, but now have another BFP. Just praying this one sticks.
I'm 40 and really have spent the last few weeks thinking that I just wouldn't be able to have another one.
Who knows what will happen this time round but I'm going to have to just take each day as it comes

catness75 · 04/02/2024 21:20

@JC084 @curliegirlie I may consider going to the GP but he will just say I'm fat and that's what is wrong...it is a factor for sure. Just need to get through the loads of negatives I'm about to get before AF shows up. I can't help sometimes but to do a test!
Good luck again to you both!
