I'm either 3 or 4 dpo, but very very unlikely to be successful as I have low progesterone 😞 waiting on my appointment in November to try and get a prescription!

How many months have you been TTC, and do you have any children?x

Hi 👋 @moosey89 how long have you been trying for? How does low progesterone impact ttc?

i am not sure exactly when I ovulated, I’ve had positive opks pretty much since CD8. They’ve gone negative/fainter here and there but mostly been positive. I had my strongest/peak last Wednesday and then severe cramping and EWCM the following Friday so I am taking that as ovulation, which makes me about 4/5 dpo. Have tried preseed this month and a soft cup, hoping it makes a difference.

I have 3 children already (ages 16, 15 and 11) but this is the first time I’ve planned one 🙈 do you have any?

The tww is a killer 😭

Hi @Dan521 im currently 10dpo (I think) had a peak on the 15th but then flew abroad that night so could of peaked higher on the 16th but refused to take any tests or temps whilst away. Tested today and got a BFN but going to carry on testing (AF due sat/sun) so not out just yet….

how long have you been TTC and I’ve heard a lot about the preseed and soft cup, if I’m unsuccessful again this month then I think I’ll give it a go!

i had the coil removed and had a few months of “seeing what happens” but nothing did…

I expected it to just happen first go because I’ve been so fertile previously but that wasn’t the case. Every month we’re now trying something different to try and improve the chances.

I may have had a CP last month, although it was not officially confirmed so I can’t say for certain.

Hi there joining this trend am either 3-5 dpo I did not track ovulation my cycle as been irregular after giving birth in May losing the baby. I have a 29 day cycle before giving birth now it's 34 day I hope this month is the one but am pretty sure am out

@Dan521 it's a bit complicated...I was trying with my ex husband for 2.5 years, got pregnant but ended in MMC at 11 weeks. Then we split up so there was a big gap, and this time with my current partner we were trying 6 months but then had an MMC in July at 10 weeks. So not had much luck really! No kids as yet.

Low progesterone can mean a few things, it can show you haven't ovulated, or it might not be high enough to implant or sustain a pregnancy (as it's the hormone that makes the uterus lining nice and thick for an embryo). So need to get it sorted really.

I got really upset about things today, going away with a friend for a few days from tomorrow so hoping for a nice mental break xx

Hi thought I would join. I'm 8dpo and I woke this morning with an intense period cramp. Like what I usually have when I'm on my heavy, painful day. And then it dissapeared 15 mins later. So I'm hoping with fingers crossed maybe that was implantation. Had no bleeding or spotting with it. Also today my boobs have felt alot fuller. Then this evening I've had what feels like pre period cramps and lower back ache. Other symptoms I have had during 1dpo till now is very gassy, few headaches every other day, and constipation. I'm hoping with fingers crossed this is our month. I did a test this morning and was a BFN 😪

@moosey89 sorry to hear about your MCs, I had one, they told me I’d had a molar pregnancy and was about to be referred to a specialist unit then it turned out it wasn’t a molar. The hospital told me If I was to become pregnant again to let them know and they’d give progesterone from 6 weeks which I thought was a bit odd since the pregnancy had already stopped developing by that point last time. I wasn’t sure what the progesterone was for I didn’t ask any further questions about it.

I’ve also taken baby aspirin for the past 2 days, I may have had a CP last month and read aspirin can help with implantation so thought I’d give it a go.

this ttc can really take its toll on you. I was just thinking earlier I can’t remember the last time we had sex without it being pre planned and to conceive.

I started one of these threads during my last tww, couple of ladies joined and I ended up being the only one who didn’t get a bfp, but hey it might mean I am a good luck charm! 😂

Sorry to hear about your losses, my friend used baby aspirin and it worked for her. So fingers crossed for u too

@DB1183 it may be implantation which means you wouldn’t get a bfp for another 2 days or so. I’ve got pains in my boobs today, needing a wee all the time, feeling really tired and feel a bit crampy. I’ve had cycles when I’ve been convinced I am pregnant because of symptoms and some with no symptoms at all and still had bfn’s. I feel like most of my symptoms come after 4 weeks when I’ve been pregnant in the past. I’m still a major symptom spotter though! 🙈

@Dan521 I have quite a few Internet cheapest so will have test again in the morning. I'm terrible for testing. Fingers crossed 🤞

@Dan521 oh wow I'm so glad it wasn't a molar pregnancy, I've heard that can be really awful 😞 and sorry for your loss. TTC is definitely so draining, I'm so envious of people who just get pregnant without having to really try. Unfortunately for me both my sister in law and my boyfriends sister in law fit into that category! It's hard to see others so close get pregnant and not have losses when we are dealing with so much.. I hope you are a good luck charm, and I hope I can be one for you too!x

I’m awful too 🙈 what tests are you using? I had faint lines on easy@home and boots early detection last month. I know easy@home have a rep for false positives but I’ve always considered boots to be quite reliable. I wasn’t sure if it was a cp or dodgy tests I tested it out this month and done some of each in between af and ovulation when I knew I wasn’t pregnant and I got faint line on easy@home and complete bfn on boots.

I have about 20 easy@home tests left so I’ll continue to use them to scratch my itch of poas but I don’t trust their lines. I’m looking for a more reliable IC brand for future cycles.

this was two of the easy@home test when I knew I wasn’t pregnant… I dipped two in the same urine one had a faint line the other was bfn.

@moosey89 my three children were unplanned, one was conceived while on the coil and one when I was on the pill. I think the middle one was immaculate conception because there’s only 10 months between the older two 😑. I thought getting pregnant would happen first go. I’m older now though and this ttc has opened up a whole new world to me that I didn’t know existed.

@Dan521 aaah it's a world of hell isn't it?? I feel like I've been here forever 😂 must be hard too if you had kids before and never had to think about it. The art is trying not to let it consume you so much that you end up living your life in 2 weeks segments.

I can't even imagine anymore what it would even be like to have a bump, or a baby, or any kind of family beyond just me and my boyfriend. Sort of feels like my brain is blocking me from imagining any of it to protect myself, if that makes sense. It also sucks that the getting pregnant is just the very first step. I won't actually let myself believe I'm having a baby until they're in my arms.

I have also had a chemical pregnancy so I've now got referrals on the go to both the recurrent miscarriage and fertility clinics! Had tons of bloods done, scan on the 11th and miscarriage clinic appointment 27 November. So the next few months is just try it and see, although I don't expect any success x

@Dan521 I use the easy@home too. But I've never had that happen to any of my tests though. Must have been a bad batch.

@Dan521 ive been using the easy@home tests and all stark white so Atleast I’m not getting the false positives everyone else seems to be getting, I did order some good ones off Amazon to be delivered today and it’s now changed to either tomorrow/next day which is slightly annoying with my obsession of testing lol. I had a MMC in June and I’m starting to think I’m not actually releasing a good egg as we DTD a lot anyways so there’s no pressure but it just doesn’t seem to want to happen!

I’ve had a lot of dull cramps for about 3 days now so maybe AF will show up early, god knows! Here’s to being positive though and hoping we all get our BFP ✨

@moosey89 j really feel for you 😞 hopefully further tests will be able to find a solution.

@DB1183 it has happened to me with two different boxes. The ones I have left are a new lot that come with the box of opks, hopefully it won’t happen again. I might as well use them up regardless. If I get a second line I’ll follow it up with another brand.

@Longtobe2023 every time I’ve had a faint line on easy@home it seems to be when ever I also have a positive opk. I’ve had a lot of random positive opks this cycle since CD8, I wonder if there is a link between the two. I was getting positive opks leading up to af last cycle too; when I had all those faint lines on both brands. What brand did you get from Amazon? I was having a look today but couldn’t find any that didn’t mention false positives on the reviews so I give up and decided to crack on with the ones I already have.

@moosey89 i feel for you! It’s an awful feeling, I know it’s not old but I’ve just turned 31 (no living children) but my OH has a DD and I love her with all my heart but can’t help feel sad sometimes that I might never get that feeling of loving my own. Keep us posted what they say on your appts :) I’ve got a phone appt on the 9th regarding fertility so hopefully I don’t get fobbed off too much!
