6DPO - I’m going mad!

Hello everyone, basically as the title says. 😂

6th Cycle for Baby #1 - every month we’ve put so much stress on ourselves and i would POAS from 5dpo despite it being too early.

this month we had a more relaxed approach (I say relaxed outside I was relaxed but my brain done overtime) - we used preseed and fertilily cup for the first this month.

got my peak CD14 baby danced CD7, 13 & 14 and never manger anything else and I’m now kicking myself crazy incase it wasn’t enough 😭

anyways, I’ve had absolutely zero symptoms except the tiniest little tugging sensation which I get every month during the TWW & I had been to the doctor for tests due to cramps during my TWW being so severe.

but this month I’m absolute feeling nothing.

I’m trying to hold off until Saturday to test (10DPO) & my partner has hidden my tests so I don’t POAS early 😂 he’s on nightshifts all week and off on Saturday hence why he allows me to have them back on Saturday lol.

as you can tell from my rant I’m losing my mind and need people to joint the rest of my TWW with me 😂😂

@LittleLemonPie ah thank you, that makes me feel better! Xx

Internette · 19/08/2023 09:02

Wow ! So glad for you :)

LittleLemonPie · 19/08/2023 09:17

@TTCNoTWO Definitely my lines are faint at 12dpo so still hope 💛✨

@Internette thank you 🥰

Huriya · 19/08/2023 09:46

@LittleLemonPie @HopefullMumto4 Congratulations on your pregnancies 🥳

Im 9DPO today and BFN! Going to try again tomorrow 🤞

HopefullMumto4 · 19/08/2023 10:01

Ahhhh congratulations @LittleLemonPie! I can't believe how faint the easy@home lines are yet a positive digital - exactly the same for me..I thought they were sensitive

LittleLemonPie · 19/08/2023 10:11

@Huriya Thank you 😊 don’t be disheartened yet….baby dust to you ✨

@HopefullMumto4 thank you 😊 yes I know
I took a chance on the digital cause I thought the easy@homes were just faulty even tho it was faint but it was the 5min mark so I didn’t trust yet and though awk why not use a digital and wow 🤩 I still can’t believe it 💛✨ how are u feeling?

Huriya · 19/08/2023 11:21

@LittleLemonPie Thank you so much, although I doo feel like im out. I can feel my period coming on even though am not due to come on till Friday 😭

Nmmck93 · 19/08/2023 13:49

@LittleLemonPie @HopefullMumto4
absolutely amazing that we have had two positives! 💜 absolutely buzzing.

im 10dpo and a BFN on FRER. I don’t know whether to count myself out or not yet, or just hold off now until I see if AF comes. 🙈

I’ve had a migraine since last night & I don’t get headaches or migraines. So hoping I’m getting signs that I’ll have my BFP in the coming days. 🤞🏻

@Nmmck93 don't count yourself out yet.

Different women have different levels of base hcg in their system (usually between 1 and 5 but can be below 1), implantation can happen anytime between 6-12dpo AND not everyone's hcg doubles every 48 hours (I believe 36-72 hours is considered normal).

10dpo is very early. I got a stark white negative on 10dpo and I could have sworn I felt implantation very late night 5dpo. It was like a lightening shock in my womb that hit one spot to the right then radiated quickly to the left and disappeared. Never experienced it before

Then I felt exactly like AF was gonna show yesterday and this morning. Was due yesterday. Did a test this morning as a day late, despite AF cramps, and got a faint positive.

So you're not out yet. You're never out until AF starts.

My faint positive for reference (and to quadruple check its real and I'm not seeing things 😅)

6DPO - I’m going mad!
Nmmck93 · 19/08/2023 16:18

@XenaTheWarriorPrincess wow! You literally probably felt the full implantation lol. At 8dpi I had severe lightning crotch where I was bent over in pain and it was coming and going for about 2.5 hours. But I haven't really felt anything noticeable since that, felt abit nauseous last night and had the worst nights sleep so knock on affect of being super tired today.

Oh that is deffs a positive my love you can see colour to the line and everything. congratulations, that's amazing. I'm going to try my best to hold out until AF is due Wednesday / Thursday.

I would love it to be this month as my due date would be the start of May which is my mum and grand birthday on the 3rd and my grandas anniversary on the 3rd so would be amazing to have my little one around then too!

Just going to keep positive.

I've been invited to so many BBQs and nights out tonight and I've had to tell everyone I'm sick because if I show up and not drink the first thing everyone will ask is if I'm pregnant 🙄 and no-ones knows where trying so best to just have an excuse that I'm sick lol.

@Nmmck93 Don’t lose hope, my tests are very faint on the strip test and I’m 12dpo. I’m praying they get darker 🙏🏼💛✨

Nmmck93 · 19/08/2023 16:42

@LittleLemonPie someone told me on another thread yesterday the easy @ home test strips aren't actually that sensitive so maybe why they are so light? FRER or Boots 6 days early are the best early detection ones if you get your hands on those and test on the day AF is due maybe?
My sister used an easy @ home & a FRER when her period was a week late and the easy @ home wasn't overly dark then the FRER was a huge dye stealer where you could barely see the control line. 🙈

OP posts:
LittleLemonPie · 19/08/2023 16:46

@Nmmck93 I’ve read they are 25ml and somewhere else I’ve read they are 10ml sensitive. Thank you tho that makes me felt bit more relaxed. I’ll be checking every morning lol 😂 I’ve ordered some first responses the rapid result and I have clear blue, but I’ll do that in few days cause I don’t like the blue dyes lol. Sending you lots of baby dust ✨💛

Gkb90 · 19/08/2023 17:01

Hi everyone it’s so nice to see the positive tests on this thread! I’m 6 DPO and on the first cycle of fertility medication and I’m trying not to drive myself crazy symptom spotting 😵‍💫😵‍💫

Nmmck93 · 19/08/2023 17:30

@LittleLemonPie I think you getting a positive on a digitial and it giving you 1-2 weeks is amazing though so just remember that your HCG is high enough to pick up on a CB digitial! Keep updated with your progress & I'll letcha know if AF shows or not. Praying she doesn't 🤞🏻

@Gkb90 welcome lovely ✨ I actually didn't symptom spot this month except when I got severe pains in my private area and last night feeling nauseous but I'm still a BFN at 10dpo! The TWW is literally mentally draining. Just try keep yourself busy and away from tests because those negatives early on can make things worse. I wish I didn't cave on Friday and just held out because the negative test yesterday and today have been soul destroying xx

OP posts:
Gkb90 · 19/08/2023 17:38

@Nmmck93 ah I’m sorry you got a BFN at 10 DPO but you’re definitely still in and I got my fingers crossed for you!!!
I was really trying not to symptom spot but during my ovulation window I was getting cramping which I hardly ever do and kept thinking could this be it??!! Haha. I’m really going to try hold out till 12 DPO but I know I’ll probably cave in xx

LittleLemonPie · 19/08/2023 18:28

@Gkb90 Fingers crossed for you 🤞🏼✨ hard not to symptom spot, this month I tried my best to not think about it, was my 2nd month on fertility treatment. Sending lots of baby dust to you ✨

@Nmmck93 thank you 🥰 hopefully not, will keep you updated. I don’t think it would of gotten a line at 10dpo so keeping everything crossed for you 🤞🏼💛✨

Gkb90 · 19/08/2023 23:54

@LittleLemonPie congratulations on your BFP! So happy for you! I’m really trying not to symptom spot with every twinge or cramp I get 🙈. I noticed you said earlier you used the cup do you think that helps at all? I haven’t used it yet but I’ve tried preseed before which didn’t work on me x

TTCNoTWO · 20/08/2023 07:16

9dpo this morning and bfn on an Internet cheapie :( How's everyone this morning?

Huriya · 20/08/2023 07:48

Morningg,
I think this maybe the start of my BFP!
Thank you to @HopefullMumto4 for reassuring me and everyone else.

I tested negative yesterday morning at 9DPO and got the slightest shadow in the evening. Tested again this morning and its still pretty faint but its there.. i honestly cant believe my eyes!

10DPO and hopefully and positive test..

6DPO - I’m going mad!
TTCNoTWO · 20/08/2023 07:56

Aw congratulations @Huriya 💖

Huriya · 20/08/2023 08:00

Honestly 9DPO is early, try testing later on in the evening or tomorrow morning at 10DPO.
I kept getting negatives and @HopefullMumto4 in the comments before mentioned thats when she got her BFP and nos its the same for me to.
Everyones bodies are different really prsying you pregnant x

Lorddenning1 · 20/08/2023 08:58

Hi OP

I'm currently trying for baby number 3, I have 2 boys from a previous relationship and my husband has 1 daughter, so it's my 3rd, his second, 4th overall but our first together.
We got pregnant this year, unplanned as we agreed to not have any together but unfortunately we found out at our 12 week scan that the baby had not made it, and it was a partial molar, so now Im under a hospital in Sheffield being monitored but all the results are good, and just need to wait on a blood test before before im discharged.
Having the MMC has light a fire in me and now I really want a 3rd baby, this is currently my second month trying and im trying not to get worked up/stressed about it.
For added context I also have PCOS and had to do down fertility treatment with my second, so imagine my surprise when I accidentally got pregnant this time. I vowed never to go down the fertility route again due to the stress of it all, it's quite emotional journey.
When we found out the baby had died, she scanned my ovaries as she could see I had PCOS on my notes and it looked like I had managed to reverse it a little (I was really bad in the past) and I have been told it's my diet and exercise I was doing, lost nearly 2 stone and cut out refined carbs and sugar, as you are meant to follow a certain diet with PCOS due to being insulin resistant etc so no wonder I got pregnant in the first place. Anyways it's been an upsetting year but we did get married and started trying and I'm hoping to not go crazy and stressed like I did with my second.
I am not sure when I ovulate as I don't use any ovulation sticks etc, just an app to log my cycles, I currently have a 32 day cycle (used to be all over the place before) so I try and hit the days my app tells me to and hope for the best really, I'm giving myself a year and then hanging my baby boots up, as I currently have a 12 and 6 year old and I don't want to be too old to start all over again.
Sending you all good luck from an old veteran of TTC.

LittleLemonPie · 20/08/2023 10:42

@Huriya Congratulations 🥰 that’s brilliant news 🥰✨

Nmmck93 · 20/08/2023 12:58

@Huriya congratulations lovely! 💜

I think I'm out, got the usually sore breasts this morning and I always get them before AF shows up. Tests also negative this morning. So yeah, think I'm out now and will have a 3/4 month break before starting up TTC again. 🙈

@Lorddenning1 hiya love! 💜 you got to do what's best for you & your husband. TTC is mentally draining and it's easier said than done but try and stay positive.
I also would advise using ovulation strips due to the fact the apps aren't always correct, my Ovulation varies month to month so you could be missing it if you're relying on the app! To coincide with my testing I also get ovulation pain the day after I get my peak test. 🙈 fingers crossed for you and you get your BFP soon 💜
