Hi everyone, I've been a bit quiet on here since my CP last month but I'm back in the TWW. 5DPO and obsessing over my BBT already 😅

still no period now and negative test, AF due 3 days ago so I’m guessing I’ve messed the days up somehow

Morning everyone! God girls, this is so confusing! I got my static smiley 2 mornings ago but the strip test didn't back it up and rise either, it was 0.10 still...so I've been continuing to test and it starting rising last night with the peak this morning! How weird is that! 2 days from my static. So rather than ovulation being yesterday according to CB (when I couldn't feel a thing and normally can) it looks like it will be tomorrow. Which is definitely where my body is going as I'm hotter than the sun also lol xxx

I’ve never tried the clear blue ovulation tests before, I notice a lot of you are using them. I’ve found the easy at home strips pretty good so far.
Is there any advantage to the clear blue tests?
I’m a week away from fertile window now so need to start testing and temping

So my period arrived yesterday and I cried as usual but not as down as previous months. The nice weather has likely helped and I think I am getting to stage now of just expecting AF to arrive each month..
Me and dh have decided to get tests done at private fertility clinic this month. We are on month 7 ttc but still feel there's no harm in getting tests done before a year. I have been waiting couple months now for scan appointment with nhs and feel that private clinic may be more in depth on mine and dh results. When I had blood tests done with GP they didn't say much than results are 'normal'.
My Dh will also be getting sperm count test...

On plus side my period this month is lighter and more comfortanle than it has been for long time so wonder if some supplements I have taken such Iron or Coq10 may have helped..

If by miracle I conceive this cycle I will have a late Jan due date..

I did a test this am and stark white 😔No more frer left now so I’ll just have to wait it out

I’ve had this before on clearblue digi OPK, got static smiley but it was false, I know they’re not supposed to give false readings because they test for LH, but I had another test holder and that was a blank circle from the same wee. When I checked the test strip for the static it was flooded, and it happens quite often as far as I could tell from crazy google searches 😂

@Floralsandsmiles I'm having the same confusion as you. I got my static smiley 2 days ago in the afternoon. My first response brand of ovulation tests were negative until this morning. So this could mean I actually ovulate 3 days after getting the smiley too. We BD every other day when the flashing smileys started and day of static but DH will be away the next 2 days so if the first response is actually correct we will miss our best window 😐

@Mannymoomin definitely a line! Quite clear for 8dpo!

@Mannymoomin the first CB digital opk is always an empty circle as that’s its baseline reading. But I don’t trust them much at all, think it’s alot of money when the cheapies particularly easy @ home do a good job.

Aww I'm sorry to hear this @Kiwiburgh , that sucks! However sperm lives for 5 days, so you still have plenty of chances! And are in for a shot! Xxx

Yes I know it is but it would’ve detected LH if it was there even if it’s the first use. The test strip was flooded on the first static though which must’ve given a faulty reading. It was only CD9 which I thought was too early for me that’s why I checked on another test holder. Always best to back up with a cheaply my to confirm which is ridiculous as I’ve spent a fortune on digi OPKs.

@Floralsandsmiles this is true, I'll keep my fingers crossed anyway . 🤞
If it turns out not to be my month I'm going to start temping from my next cycle, hopefully that'll take the guess work out a little.

@Mannymoomin the first one of the cycle will always be empty circle though regardless of how much LH. The last time I used a cb digital I got circle then static next day..was also flooded strip so gave up on them. Ridiculous really isn’t it for the cost

@Daniki i think ur 1dpo babes? As im 2 dpo cuz think u thot it was ur peak n then u got a darker one after? Gonna be a lonngggggg 2 weeks for us gal lmaoo

@Freya8 it all confuses me! 😂 yes it will but at least we can have a rest now from dtd 😂😂😂 will do it tonight to cover all bases then my husband can stay away 😂 we can test together! Xx

Personally I’m a fan of the CB digital. Never ever had a positive on a cheapie, (I’ve not tried easy @ home though)
I’ve used the CB digi for last 2-3 cycles and was so happy to see smiley and static smileys confirming O. My period has then arrived two weeks after my static smiley.

I am CD10 and still a circle for me today, was expecting to have a flashing today!

@Daniki technically accordin to that smep i am supposed to do it today i think ... but naw i cannot bring myself to i truely cant lmao 🤣 started drinkin that pomegranate juice tho .. i actually like it lolll xxx

I’m 8/9dpo. Might start testing tomorrow on cheapies just cause I have loads 😂 when is everyone else testing?
