Hi all! As the title suggests, I have set this up as a space for those of us who are TTC and in that long wait between ovulation and when AF is due!
So, to kick us off... I have been TTC #2 since November. Had one chemical in that time and now well into the TWW with AF due on Tuesday! After spending a lot of money on early tests / having the disappointment of a chemical I am now avoiding early testing and will instead wait until AF is late, but zero judgement on anyone who likes to test early - I totally get the urge!

@GemLou88 I'm learning so much so it's always nice to try and help others, you end up fussing over your graph I find. I've opened the natural cycles app so many times tomorrow but nothings changed 😂😂

@GemLou88 I am 9 dpo, trying to hold off testing until AF is due as don't want to potentially get negative test by testing early which could still be positive. Will see if I hold out, tempted to test with FRER on Tuesday at 11 dpo..
I am trying to also not symptom spot too much, main weird thing I have got is waking up with dry/sore throat yesterday but fine this morning..
When you do you think you will test?

shows the statistics of getting a positive by DPO. Think it says most people get their BFP at 12dpo.
Im not sure about when to test yet. I might keep watching my bbt and maybe do a few more LH tests. If no peak on LH test by CD 21 I’ll maybe test with a FRER.

Think I’m going to dig my BBT thermometer out next cycle. I think my ovulation was a bit messed up from my miscarriage last month cause I’m not 16dp what I thought was ovulation but still getting negatives. My LH stayed relatively high and I got EWCM again a week later so I’m now thinking maybe that was my ovulation. In which case I’m only 7-9ish dpo.

Will just have to wait and see but I hate this waiting around not really knowing!

@GemLou88 thanks that's helpful to know. Looks the odds are better after 12 days..
I just had a new interesting symptom wiped and it was light brown and didn't look like my usual spotting before period and earlier than I would get it also.. My spotting tends to start 3-4 days before period starts.
Could be implantation bleeding as seen online this can occur from 7dpo but don't want to get my hopes up..😕

Apparently 9dpo most common according to my ovulation date and getting the light brown residue when go to toilet..

Hey everyone, joining this thread. Just started trying for baby number 1 this cycle! I’m 5 dpo if I’ve calculated everything correctly so planning to wait to see if my period starts in roughly 9 days. Desperately trying not to symptom spot so early but I did just post a thread about resting heart rate as mine has been steadily climbing all week.. good sign or means nothing?

@sashastuck it was a good sign for me with my first. My RHR was always 52-54 but then shot up to 60 and then steadily rose until I gave birth.

i fell pregnant at the end of November and then gave birth beginning of August. I need to start wearing my Apple Watch again as I did find it really interesting!

@buckingmad Wow, what a rise! That steady climb across Nov-Dec is how my graph is looking. Hope it stays that way!

@GemLou88 eek how interesting! Definitely looks like a good sign though! No update here, 6DPO and just have cramping/pulling in one side but I had that last month so I think it's just normal for me. Nothing really happening on my graph either other than it's coming down slightly. I have seen some peoples graphs that fluctuate before implantation and then shoot up but still too early for me to tell x

I am even more confused now. I took an OPK at around 11 this morning and it’s quite high (top test in photo) so I though maybe I haven’t ovulated yet and I’m about to get my peak. Took another OPK at 3:30 which is the bottom test in the photo. In RL it’s not as dark as the top test. Could I have had a very quick surge and fall and I’ll ovulate tomorrow?

@GemLou88 eek, I have my fingers crossed 🙏. I usually start to spot before period at 11 dpo and specs of red/dark brown. Yesterday it was more light brown/pink and very little on tissue and barely anything today.
Tempted to test tomorrow but might hold out till Friday. I would prefer to find out before weekend than on a work day..

Those tests look like day or two prior before I have gotten peak to me..

I've just had the weirdest sensation that literally stopped me in my tracks, I had an intense pinching/shooting sensation in the left hand side of lower abdomen/uterus area. Who knows what that could've been!

@GemLou88 it could be that you tried to ovulate CD10 but the big temp drop is you trying again to ovulate. Did you get a positive OPK at CD9/10? Have you tested LH again this evening? X

I unfortunately didn’t use OPK’s around CD9/10 because I thought it would be too early as I have been ovulating between CDs 20-24. I took another OPK about 40 minutes ago and it’s not as dark as earlier. I’ve had an increase of CM which is a mixture of creamy and EW so maybe I am trying to ovulate. I’m symptom spotting but I don’t know what for 😂 I’ve been having some cramping today and yesterday, I’m exhausted and my muscles ache, lots of reflux last night and throughout today. Who knows what my body is doing

@GemLou88 I continued having cramps last night and they've seemed to subside today, my temp has shot right up this morning.

How you feeling today? Have you taken anymore LH tests? It's hard to work out what's going on isn't it with different dips etc, I've got 4 days til AF is due 😬

Today I’m feeling stressed and emotional. All work related. Lots more CM this morning, so possibly ovulation gearing up again 🤷‍♀️ I’m CD 19 so would be expecting it around now anyway. Temp is still rising but slowly. My LO was up at 4 this morning though so could have affected my temp. Will do another LH test this afternoon to see

On 11 dpo, still some minor spotting today and feeling down today..

Don't want test in case I get dissapointed but also want to know so I am torn. Might give in on 12/13 dpo..

Sorry everyone I've been feeling so rubbish! But taking all these symptoms as a good sign

@Anonhopingforbaby have you taken anymore tests to see line progression?
I’ve been feeling AF type cramps on and off today. And constant reflux which I had both pregnancies. Still going to hold off testing a bit longer to see how my LH tests go

@GemLou88 eek I don't know, I really don't wanna get my hopes up 😅 I've been googling what bbt looks like 7DPO for both BFN and BFP and of course there is no text book answer!

I've also got a fair bit of CM. Did you do another LH test?
