Hi I’m 6dpo for sure as I tracked with ovulation tests this month and I’ve got a positive pregnancy test, is this possible?

@G3mini2 i really hate the way that it makes me during these two weeks, I turn into such a crazy person. Googling and searching for things. I sometimes think that I should just be happy with what I already have. And feel guilty all the time wanting more babies. Knowing some women can’t have babies or get pregnant. But then think it’s what I want and have the right to have another wether I have 1 baby or 7 already!

maybe as you say just go with the flow and enjoy the time with your husband and you never know it might just happen.

makes me so frustrated lol. I got pregnant last year with only having sex once that month and not even trying. Sadly ended in a miscarriage. So I know it can happen. But as you say we don’t even try and it happens x

G3mini2 · 21/04/2023 14:53

@Farmgirl12 aww I know exactly how you feel. I try to hide it away from partner how obsessed I am staring at my test or I'd look through my pictures trying to see if the line I saw was coloured. I'm a mess😂
Yes that's exactly it. I still want a baby even though I have 2 I'm extremely lucky to have my boys but lord I want one more.
I'm trying to take my mind off it but I can't I just need to know. I will in a few days.
I'd be disappointed if I get my period but I'll be at ease and I can get back to my normally x

Farmgirl12 · 21/04/2023 14:56

@G3mini2 sending love ❤️❤️❤️

G3mini2 · 21/04/2023 15:00

@Farmgirl12 you too, let me know if you come on. Our dates are the same so we will find out together ❤️

Hankthehonk · 21/04/2023 20:32

@G3mini2 sorry you're feeling so disappointed - of course as others say, you're not out until af arrives. I'm driving myself a bit crazy squinting at tests and taking loads of photos, editing them etc, as well. I wasn't like this when ttc before having a miscarriage but this is my first cycle trying since the loss and I think I'm transferring my heightened anxiety to the whole testing process.

G3mini2 · 21/04/2023 21:00

@Hankthehonk I'm doing everything I can to bring this period on. Just got out a hot lavender bath😂(it works for me). I do see a line on the pic I think it should be getting darker so not getting hopes up just yet. Due on Sunday-monday so time will tell. I don't know how to edit otherwise I would😂. Aww no I'm so sorry to to hear that! Hopefully we all get what we want sending you baby dust sweetie always if you want to chat x

Farmgirl12 · 22/04/2023 06:50

Morning ladies how is everyone today?

bfn here for me, so definitely out again this month. I think I’ve had enough now. Not sure I can keep doing this every month.

it’s really wearing me down.

hopefully you all get your bfp soon x

Mummy1502 · 22/04/2023 07:21

Do you all test for ovulation? I found taking a step back and stopping testing worked for us as wasn’t constantly thinking about when I was ovulating or when we needed to have sex etc x

Yea I got a static smiley on the 9th. Dtd leading up,around and after that date. I know it’s what I should do but and I’ve had to do it in the past. Just feel like it needs to happen now or it’s getting too late. My oldest is 16 so don’t want to leave it much longer really x

G3mini2 · 22/04/2023 07:31

@Farmgirl12 I'm patiently waiting for my period😔 think I'm just a victim of evaps. Feel a bit sick this morning and on and off period like pain a bit nauseous and full slightly tender breast. Could be symptoms of period now though.
@Mummy1502 I took my last strip of cheap asda ones on my expected ovulation day and it came up negative. I don't really know how to use it or what to do so one test negative didn't test again x

Farmgirl12 · 22/04/2023 07:34

@G3mini2 yeah I’m just waiting now too, I think it will be today. Cramps are off the scale since I gout out of bed. Hate this shit lol

G3mini2 · 22/04/2023 07:35

@Farmgirl12 I know how you feel. My eldest is 9 and my youngest a baby. Big age gap they don't really play with each other. So I'm hoping to give my baby a little play mate soon. I'm that sister with all the kids. So my children have no cousins. My friends don't have kids either❤️

Farmgirl12 · 22/04/2023 07:40

@G3mini2 they bring us so much joy don’t they, I’d happily have a house full of them. And husband wouldn’t argue either ❤️

Mummy1502 · 22/04/2023 07:46

It’s hard isn’t it, for me the ovulation testing just took a massive toll on me mentally so I had to stop, I was so sure every month that I was pregnant but I wasn’t, it was heartbreaking, then we had the chemical, I just thought that’s it I’m not testing anymore, this cycle we didn’t test and ended up pregnant, sometimes the stress of trying so hard really does impact the outcome, not saying it does for everyone, there’s many women who track ovulation and successfully get pregnant but for me it stressed me out far too much that I think I was just negatively affecting my body with my mind, I do hope you both get your positives soon x

@Farmgirl12 oh most definitely I'd have my very own football team if I could😂 realistically one more is just enough for us. I have a step son too so 3 kids between us. Hopefully one coming soon to complete my family. I bought a kitten last night to make up for not conceiving this month 🤦🏻‍♀️😂 x

G3mini2 · 22/04/2023 07:50

@Mummy1502 I really don't track ovulation like I should if am honest! I just know when I am I get cramp like pain. I can't remember if I did this month so there's a good chance I didn't even ovulate🤷🏻‍♀️ I don't understand it so I don't do it. Thank you x

Mummy1502 · 22/04/2023 07:53

@G3mini2 its probably a good thing you don’t track tbh and if you feel when you ovulate then you probably don’t need to anyway, love the impulse kitten buy 😂 x

Farmgirl12 · 22/04/2023 07:54

@Mummy1502 i don’t really get stressed around the ovulation part and dtd part. It’s the Tww part and looking out for my period that stresses me lol.

when trying for my youngest I never done any ovulation tests or anything, and it took nearly 4 years. Didn’t want to wait that long this time so thought I’d try them out.

I feel for all those ladies that can’t even get pregnant or try for years. It must be absolutely exhausting.

@G3mini2 football team sounds good to me, need a mini bus 😂

Mummy1502 · 22/04/2023 07:56

@Farmgirl12 yea the tww is horrible, I used to always get excited around ovulation time then really stressed out in tww too, then heartbroken everytime af arrived, I don’t think il ever stop worrying until baby is here x

G3mini2 · 22/04/2023 08:04

@Mummy1502 I'm a mess I want someone else to love so a kitten felt necessary😂 yes usually I get cramps. So there's a good chance I didn't even ovulate this month. Isn't amazing how a woman's body works?x

G3mini2 · 22/04/2023 08:35

@Mummy1502 I know it's hard not to worry but try think of the positives! You're body has done amazingly well🥰 have you rang to get an apt yet?? I'm excited for you x

Mummy1502 · 22/04/2023 08:38

@G3mini2 hoping for you, yea I self referred to midwives so will wait for an appointment x

@Mummy1502 aww please keep me updated. I'm so happy for you 🥰 every first response I've done looks like your first one you did but it's not getting darker I'm very unsure about evap lines there might be a little bit of hope for me x

Mummy1502 · 22/04/2023 09:08

@G3mini2 Thankyou, I was shocked to see that line, especially day after af was due, but I knew I must be pregnant coz af didn’t arrive, I started testing from 6dpo coz I’m so impatient, but I couldn’t be sure of ovulation date as didnt use opk’s this cycle, I was just doing by previous cycles, so really felt down when I kept getting negatives everyday even the day af was due, I was cramping and sure af was on its way but it didn’t arrive, hoping I can update with a scan of baby’s heartbeat but obviously still very nervous and waiting until tomorrow to do a digi to see if it’s gone up to 3+, I got my 1-2 and 2-3 on digis on the right time so I’m really hoping x
