So sorry haven’t been on here , work has been manic . Thinking of you all and hoping Af doesn’t arrive !
Af is on its way for me I think , I am cramping , boobs hurt and feel run down . My app said I ovulated on the 12 th . I just feel like giving up x

@Tottenhaminmyblood AF on it's way for me too, I'm now just wishing it would start so I can get on with next month. How long have you been ttc? Will it be baby number 1?

Hi @Enigma85 thats how I feel just wanting it to arrive so i can really focus on this month . No my baby died when he was 4 weeks old and I wasn’t ready for a long time . I have been with a new partner for a long time and he has a child from a previous relationship . We haven’t been using anything for 18 months but actively trying now for a year and nothing . How about you ? I think I may have to seek fertility help xx

I am so so sorry to read that @Tottenhaminmyblood - I just can't bear to think what that must be like and I'm so incredibly sorry.

I came off the pill a year ago, stupidly thought it'd just 'happen' but quickly realised that was stupid so got on the ovulation sticks. 8 months it took to conceive but was a mmc at 12 week scan in December. We did consider fertility tests as I'm 37 but then got pregnant so didn't bother. Might have to in the future.

@Enigma85 sorry to hear about your mmc am thinking of you and hope your ok . I’m 37 this year and I’m not sure if I need to go for fertility tests now or try the ovulation sticks .

@Tottenhaminmyblood my AF came too but has finished now, I'm CD6 and had a negative LH test today so we're going to start DTD tonight every other day, then I usually try and do every day once I get the static smiley for a couple of days. I'd definitely use ovulation sticks, mine happens a lot earlier than I ever thought so had been missing it a few times before I was using them.

@Enigma85 its very strange I stopped Af on Monday but then started bleeding today and this is starting to become normal for my period so might need advice . What ovulation sticks do you use ? I think I ovulate early also x

Oh that is so frustrating :( I wonder what it could be, I'd get advice on that for sure. I use clear blue digital which are crazy expensive, might get the cheaper ones when I understand what I'm doing better but just feel so anxious I'd interpret it wrong and end up missing ovulation.

How are you getting on@Enigma85 . I bought the clear blue digital ovulation and had negatives then yesterday a flashing smiling face in the morning but then at 7 pm I had the static smiling face so I’m not sure why that happened so quick . We dtd yesterday and am going to tonight . I must be ovulating 4 days before my app said I would xx

Not good, I used to always ovulate cd13 so would have flashing smileys a few days before then. Now on cd11 and still stark negative LH tests, plus, my temp sky rocketed on cd8 and has stayed up! Like ovulation temp but no ovulation so I just don't know what's going on and neither does my natural cycles app :( already feel like this month is hopeless. What CD are you on now? That's good you got the static :) I'd dtd a couple of days after too just for luck!

@Enigma85 would that mean that you haven’t ovulated this month ? Or that you have missed it ? This is all so hard isn’t it ? Everyone else just seems to fall pregnant . I am on cd11 today and got the static on cd10 but flashy smiley in the morning , didn’t expect the ovulation test to change so quick . Are you still dtd ?

@Tottenhaminmyblood It could be either but I have a feeling I wont ovulate this month. I just feel different like no sex drive or fertile cm :( we have decided to dtd every other day just incase something happens and my temp and lh don't detect it, but honestly in my head I've written off this month. It's such a rollercoaster isn't it, but yours is sounding more positive than mine this month so I really hope it happens for you!x

@Enigma85 im so sorry let’s keep fingers crossed that somehow you do ovulate ! Is your dh supportive ? I’m out this month also my partners child came and stayed last night and in our bed so no dtd. I’m so sitting here crying , I know I need to pull myself together but I know I’ve probably ovulated and no chance now xx

They say you're fertile about 5 days before ovulation and for a couple after so it's worth still dtd tonight if you can! Remember the sticks etc don't know exactly when it will happen, there is still hope! Yeah he's supportive but has an annoying optimism and doesn't feel the time pressure that I do, I'm 37 and he just thinks it's all fine!

@Enigma85 mine is younger then me and I’m 37 soon and don’t think he quite gets it that it’s not as easy for me . When do you start testing in the tww? Have you had blood tests to see if you ovulate ? X

I feel very nonchalant, almost bored now in the 2WW. My sister’s just had her baby and I just don’t see it happening for me tbh. I don’t have any pregnancy symptoms and im 6dpo. Which I know is fairly common but still… 🤷‍♀️ I don’t know. It doesn’t help with dp not pulling his finger out with his sperm analysis. If he hasn’t got any I’d rather know rather than have hope.

@AgeGapBbe has he been to the doctors ? It’s so hard isn’t it especially when our closest around us are having babies . Have you been trying long ? X

He did finally go the other week abs thought he had to wait for a pot to be posted, though now we think he has to go and collect one but he just won’t prioritise it! He works from home 3 days a week and I know it’s super hectic- some days his lunch is whatever he can grab in 5 mins then he’s only his next meeting etc. BUT he could prioritise it more.

I had my implant out a year ago, I think I felt privately that it would happen really quickly… my cycles took a while to properly settle down though and so it’s only been about 5/6 months of active trying and monitoring ovulation etc. My hormone levels are fine.

@AgeGapBbe has he said anymore about collecting the pot ? How old are you ? Any symptoms your due Af soon aren’t you ? X

@Tottenhaminmyblood he collected it!!! I said to him quite simply that every day, it bothers me, and I think about the pot and the sperm test and being able to have a baby. That it literally is on my mind every single day. He seemed quite surprised! 🤦‍♀️ men! He asked again what we’d do if it comes back with a poor result- every time it’s mentioned that’s what he says. I just said we’d have to cross that bridge if it happens etc. 2 days later he’d collected it!

I’ve not really got any symptoms of anything, AF due today according to my app but I’m not often spot on. Might do a test and get night just to check but I’d be very shocked. This is the first month I’ve not done at least 2 or 3 by this point so at least I’m a bit more relaxed I guess. Im 36 and he is 56.

@AgeGapBbe thats amazing that he collected it !! I guess saying how you felt has given him the kick he needed. Due today really keeping my fingers crossed for you ! I am 8dpo today and someone said that ovulation tests can show positive if pregnant so I tried that abs was negative . So hard x

@Tottenhaminmyblood I would just rather know if it’s not going to happen. All this emotional energy when it literally might not be possible. DSiS had her baby and all the fuss is on her (quite rightly) but not only do i live further away but I don’t seem to be having much luck anyway!

I keep thinking that it’ll be much better for it to happen in a few months time anyway- for work and mortgage renewal as well as financial issues, but I’d just like to know it’s possible really. You spend the whole of your teens thinking that if you so much as look at a penis then you’ll get pregnant- it’s quite the shock when you do everything and it doesn’t happen.

@AgeGapBbe i know constantly being told that we would end up pregnant if having sex and now I’m desperate and nothing . I’m 37 this year and just don’t know if I can deal with the heartbreak anymore of every month . I have 20 nieces and nephews and all the attention on them which it should be and I try to be an amazing aunty but just soul destroying . I did have horrific heartburn Saturday night and I never get that .
