I had my first flashing smile yesterday but didn’t dtd. I’m not feeling well as I have an awful cold…but really need to find the energy tonight!

My period will be due around 11th Jan. could be before or after as my cycle lengths vary by a few days.

Let’s keep each other company!

@CZ9294 I hope time goes quickly for you and this is your month! I think I’ve been the first to test out of us all but I’m sure a few others were due around same time as me?

@WilllowStar whooO congratulations- I know it’s scary when it’s early but I’m so thrilled for you! I’ll cross fingers for a nice strong symptom for you.

I tested at 9DPO - estimated anyway, and BFN - so will hold out until I miss AF now.

@lottieb92 thank you! I’m actually feeling pretty tired but I have a toddler so I’m always tired lol. I also tested 9dpo 🙈 had nothing then had lines the next day so you never know xx

i think I’ll try and survive at least until Tuesday! But that is positive news. I think because I’m so so used to the BFNs now I test early and try to move on 😂🤭

Yest I had a flashing smiley and today when I went to do it again (the testing strip removed previously), it’s still flashing? Is that normal? Even though there isn’t a weeing strip still in there?

I thought unless you had a fixed smiley, the flashing only lasts 8 minutes and then you have to test again each day until you get a fixed or am I missing something? Xx

Ive used them before and just had a circle followed by a fixed so I didn’t have this issue last time! That time I had BFP but it was chemical x

@WilllowStar after a couple of days of random yellowey discharge and then brown discharge, AF turned up this morning in full red flow…. But has stopped since midday. I’m 99% sure I’m out as don’t think that amount of red is a good sign 😅 I’m 8/9 DPO so I’m not sure that’s a good sign either 🤷‍♀️

it only happened last time by doing it today before and the day of ovulation - which is exactly what we’ve done so fingers and toes crossed!!!! Although let’s hope if it does stick, it’s not chemical this time 🫣

@WilllowStar congrats on your BFP! No symptoms this early on is completely normal btw as the HCG is still rising!

@CAA121 oh no sorry to hear that :( sounds like we are very similar as I also had AF come last cycle for a day, then go away for a day, then come back again. It's so disheartening, had it ever happened to you before?

Anyone else getting anymore symptoms? I can't believe I'm only 5dpo, TWW is really dragging this time, think I'm going to try to wait until next Sat to test though, seems so long away! Luckily my spotting was only 1/2dpo and hasn't come back since so hoping it was just ovulation bleeding.

@CAA121 sorry to hear that AF may have reared her ugly head, it's a brutal process! Hope you're ok.

@Piglet34 only weird symptom I've had so far other than sensitive nipples (not unusual for me before AF) was hot flushes in the night last night. Woke up very warm this morning! I'm 8dpo today and haven't tested yet.

@Piglet34 yeah I’ve never really had it before, maybe for half a day when light but last time I bled was yesterday morning at 9am and still nothing since. My cramps have gone too and I usually am in agony. I did take a test but BFN. No idea what my body is up to 🤔 wish my AF would just start properly so I know. I swear since TTC my body is playing tricks on me 😂

The TTW always goes sooo slow, hopefully your spotting was just ovulation spotting. Fingers crossed for next week when you start testing 🤞

@Apat10 thank you :) I’m okay, just a roller coaster really isn’t it this TTC stuff. Just hoping 2023 is a lucky year 🤞 do you do BBT charting? Wonder if you’ve noticed anything change if having hot flushes. My fingers are crossed for your BFP this month!

I'm 2DPO today and honestly feel like pulling my hair out. I forgot how anxious the TWW makes me. I'm trying to keep myself busy but just keep going back to "I hope we've caught on". And knowing I shouldn't really test until 20th is making me even more irritable. I wish it was as easy as just relaxing and putting it to the back of my mind.

@CAA121 how weird that your bleeding has stopped! I know what you mean - the waiting is the worst, last month I had pink spotting that then went brown for 3 days before AF properly arrived but I was testing negative, in the end I was happy when she finally showed up and I could get on with looking forward!

I have been tracking BBT, it was the highest it's ever been this morning but I did take it straight after waking as always but I had woken up mid flush so no surprise it was so high!

6dpo at present. No symptoms whatsoever. It’s dragging soooo badly. Realistically I feel like I need to wait until Friday before I test.

I am just dreading another bfn and the emotional strain of another month TTC.

Hopefully I can keep myself as busy as possible!

8dpo today, tested with a cheapie and BFN in the 5min window, but I feel like I can see the tiniest hint of a line when I shine a torch on it now that it's dry.. though this could always be an evap.. not getting my hopes up!
Just going to try and hold out til Tuesday when I'll be 10dpo now!

Symptoms are sore boobs (totally normal for me before AF anyway) and some cramping the past few days (not so normal). Very similar to last month actually, which I'm not sure is a good sign or not 🙈 the thought of another chemical is stressing me out!

AF is due anytime between Wednesday and Friday, I haven't tested yet and I can't tomorrow due to not having tests at home and working a nice 10 hour shift so Tuesday will be my testing day 🤞

I haven’t had the symbol stay there until the solid smile. Unless you’ve pressed it back in after taking it out it shows you the previous results - I only know this as I did mine and got in the shower then put washing on and by time I had finished my result had cleared. Placed it back in the holder and it showed the result again instantly xx

I tested too at 9po today with a BFN 🫠 don’t know why I do it to myself! Going to wait until 12dpo until I test again!

6DPO for me today but going to wait until next sat to test as well so same as @Piglet34 . It's going to be a looooong week!

My AF is due anytime from Wednesday -my cycles aren't always 28. I have resisted the temptation to test so far and the next two days I've got two ten hour shifts so probably won't get chance to test then either. So I guess I will wait and see if she turns up 😭 my fingers are crossed she doesn't 🤞

7DPO for me today, no symptoms at all. I'm CD30 and my period usually arrives by 9/10DPO so I've not got much longer to wait but bloody hell this is dragging so much.

I usually start getting cramps a day before my period shows up, and annoyingly when I was pregnant with my first the only symptoms I had beforehand were cramps... that obviously didn't turn into a period. Aaargh!!

@SillyOldBear3 fingers crossed though, I love a good squinter! Will you test again today or wait til tomorrow?
