@ChloeN 100% I’ll be terrified! I think if I get to my 16 week scan and everything is ok, then maybe I’ll breathe I know it’s normally a 20 week u get but I was told I’ll get more scans because of what happened. I’ll be doing the NIPT/harmony blood test to check for abnormalities too around 12 weeks - so it’s all go really! pray for me 😃😅 (I’m not religious btw but still)

@NSx I think it’s good to have milestones to get too! Definitely getting past that 16 week will help! I had a scan last week then have another in a week and a half and then another 2 weeks after that🤣 I feel like I need them all the time until I feel movement! Xx

NSx · 15/02/2023 21:17

@ChloeN are these private or NHS? I definitely think reassurance scans will help massively ❤️❤️
im taking it day by day, scan by scan 🤞✨

@NSx last week was nhs, it was my rescan from
12 weeks because they couldn’t get measurements🤦🏻‍♀️ the next one is private then one after is my 20 week! Yes you can do it lovely 🥰🥰xx

NSx · 15/02/2023 21:34

@ChloeN this happened to me; the way the baby was sitting and also I had an anterior placenta which made it that bit harder 🥲🥲🥲. Atleast you are getting more opportunities to see your baby which is always nice ❤️ get as many scans as you can 🤍

@NSx sorry to stick my nose in but I wanted to reassure you. It sounds like i have experience something similar to you. I lost a baby girl at 16 weeks due to a chromosome abnormality that only affects girls. I was also told it was just one of those things. I went on to have three perfectly healthy babies after that. X

NSx · 15/02/2023 21:43

@Hopefulfor4 thanks so much for sharing ❤️ your story sounds identical to mine, I was told the same, just a fluke of nature. They said there’s only like 1% chance or ‘lightening striking twice’ if that makes sense, but you still worry don’t you. I’m hoping and wishing for a healthy 9 months, thanks you really give me hope x x

@Frustratedttcno2

Did you have your fertility readings done online?

I absolutely understand and you will worry it's normal. I found all the extra scans comforting in the following pregnancy though. Finally holding my baby in my arms was heaven. Wishing you all the best xx

ChloeN · 15/02/2023 22:11

@NSx Id never heard it happened to anyone else so I thought it was just me! The baby just moved constantly and I think my womb was tilted as well, and an anterior placenta too🤦🏻‍♀️ but at my 10 week the photo was perfect so think it was just a bad day! This time was fine but they hardly showed me the baby just random bits like it’s foot🤦🏻‍♀️ are you doing like progression or anything? Xx

NSx · 15/02/2023 22:16

@Hopefulfor4 I really appreciate your words and advice. I hope my journey will be as successful as yours has been 🤞✨✨✨

@NSx

I just don't feel like I've got any symptoms 😂

I used those blue tests, did you find that the lines appeared clearer as they were loading. I seem to be getting indent lines but only 10dpo and due af on Sunday (23 day cycle)

@Holly03 i think that’s what the tests do, the line will show up initially as the dye runs but the test is only positive when it’s all clear (white) but the line stays, maybe try again in a couple of days - sending you baby dust ✨✨✨

@NSx I rang and registered my pregnancy, and they've booked me for a scan on 15/3 due to me being a bit of a higher risk.
Was nice to know there is someone reading my notes.
Got a bit of line progression in the space of 2 days, so feeling less stressed!

VictoriaBlossom · 16/02/2023 20:21

Looks like I can't post any images atm? Is there a maximum amount of posts with images you can have?

VictoriaBlossom · 16/02/2023 20:23

Ok scrap that. Please see attached 😂 @NSx

We are scan buddies 😊 mine is also 15/03 🌈✨
ahhh I can see a good line progression there, I think you should do a digital, it’s so nice to see the words pregnant written there 🤍
may I ask why u are high risk?
I also did another test today, I think I will stop testing and keep my last frer for next week, I would love to see a dye stealer 😍 and I think it’s a waste to keep buying tests?
how are u feeling today.

@NSx
I'm terrible for not tagging people. I remember as I proof read my message and realise I've not tagged the person in replying to!

I've got an underactive thyroid that's absolutely mental atm. Had bloods today and it's still not right, plus I have sickle cell trait. So they will attempt to keep a close eye on the situation.
My mmc took months to spot with retained material, and I went back to them and said I tested positive and my GP congratulated me, I said I know it's not right and she sent me for the midwife first appointment etc, and I told my midwife there was something wrong and she sent me straight for a scan that day.
(Mmc happened in the march, called in May, and June to say I've still not had a period etc. they said the body often re absorbs the miscarriage and fobbed me off...)

I went to them in the September regarding testing positive which is when my GP referred me as a new pregnancy.

After the first scan, they confirmed the two sacks (I was pregnant with twins) but nothing there. Said I had to go back a week later for another scan (even though they'd already got copies of other scans, and my private scans)
And then they'd need to remove the material, they offered me the abortion pill, to be taken on a maternity ward. With no toilet, they'd give me towels and was not allowed to go home til it had been passed... at this point I was completely broken so just paid privately for the tablets and took them at home.

Definitely rambling on, soz!

NSx · 16/02/2023 21:11

@VictoriaBlossom oh my, that sounds very traumatic. I’m sorry that you lost twins, losing a baby is super hard, I hope this one is a sticky bean and u have a healthy 9 months ✨🌈🤍 here’s to our (hopefully) rainbow babies 🤞🤞 xx

OP posts:
VictoriaBlossom · 16/02/2023 21:16

@NSx oh absolutely! I have 7 sets of twins in my direct family. My grandma had two sets of twins on my mums side and my dads side had 5 sets of twins in my generation. Yeh. Massive family! 😂

Here's to a happy healthy 9 months with our rainbows my darling! Are you taking any pregnancy supplements?

NSx · 16/02/2023 21:28

@VictoriaBlossom wow that is amazing, no wonder you were having twins, imagine this pregnancy is twins? haha I think 1 healthy baby is enough for me at the minute 😂🤍
yes I’m taking Pregnacare max now, before I was taking all sorts so I’m glad I can cut that down a bit now, u?
