@ChloeN i wanted to hold off and tell him over dinner tonight but I couldn’t hold my water 🥹 …
we were both crying - he doesn’t believe it he’s going to buy a digital today, I’m hoping that my like is strong enough to show up on a digital. 🤞💕

im feeling a bit run down which isn’t helping 😫 my due date is 27/28 Oct, I’m guessing you’re around the same? is this your first?

@NSx yeah first for us. I found out I was pregnant on 12th feb 2022 but unfortunately mmc. it took about 8 months for me to actually get any type of period again.

When I fell preg before we went through the emotions of what we should do, we aren't married and work in really high pressure jobs which demand a lot of our time.
But after a week or two we were really excited for a baby and started to adapt our lives.
I look at that time as a trial run and confirmation it's the right thing for our family. Although we do now have a dog, she turns one on Sunday 😂

@VictoriaBlossom have a similar story - fell pregnant feb 2022 and then at 16 weeks we lost her, so it’s taken me about 8 cycles and 9 months to get pregnant again. I assume it took a while for my body to go back to normal however it was extremely tough.
I don’t think there’s ever the perfect time to have a baby, like you say you just adapt don’t you!
have u called and registered your pregnancy yet? I have an early reassurance scan on 15 March x

@ChloeN I phoned fetal medicine yesterday as they had advised I could have an early reassurance scan due to my loss before, so I’m booked in on 15 March 🤞 will be holding my breath until then 😂😂 .. I’m also so glad my digital worked, im not sure my fiancé actually believed it until he saw the words pregnant 😂😂😂

@NSx I am on hold to my dr now to get the midwife number
I do have an issue though, I have sickle cell trait. They rang me to tell me this on the day I found out they couldn't find a heartbeat. Which was a pretty emotional day.

The issue was, once I'd told them I'd miscarried (private scan) the nhs had no interest in testing my boyfriend for sickle cell.

It is pretty random though as the dna was traced back to Ghanaian heritage, and I'm mad pale ginger skin, blue eyes and gingery brown hair 😂 so I have the attributes of a white Caucasian with genetics of a black Ghanaian
Blew my little mind!

@VictoriaBlossom omg that’s mental, I totally get how sad and emotional you must have been. For me there was a chromosomal abnormality but they said it wasn’t hereditary it was ‘just one of these things ‘ and the luck of the draw 😫
fingers crossed we have a better experience this time round ❤️❤️❤️

It sure has been a while @NSx! Your news has given me some hope 😂.

Not much to report here - positive opk today, but I'm not holding my breath. We've got a consultation booked for ivf next Thursday so I think we're at the point where we're going to give that a try if this cycle is unsuccessful.

How are you feeling? Has it sunk in yet? x

@FieldView I’m sorry you’re feeling like this, this was literally me a few days ago, given up all hope - what cycle are u on now? the fact you’re doing something like have a consult booked is good, will make you feel like you’re moving forward.
tbh it hasn’t really sunk in, apart from the fact I feel rubbish today 😂😂😁 that keeps reminding me 🤪 …

@ChloeN yes i will be just under 8 weeks, so should hopefully get to see something 🤞🤞… how u doing? When is your due date again?
