It seems AF has arrived this morning. Absolutely gutted.. really thought this was the month 😢😢

Congratulations on all the positives - such lovely Christmas news. DH and I DTD last night and this morning - I think he is equal parts thrilled and exhausted 😂
Just had a darker line on ovulation strip (only just them very briefly before so not really experienced with them) and feel glad we DTD this morning. Guess we need to try and do it for the next few days now to maximise chances?

@Laul89 sorry to hear that - it can be really devastating especially when you have a good feeling about it. Probably not much of a consolation but it does mean you’ll be able to have a drink on Christmas Day and probably puts your next fertile period right at the start of the new year which is a good note to start on.

AF is a day late here which is unheard of and Flo has been prompting me to test since yesterday. I was having a tiny amount of blood when wiping (sorry tmi) but it looked different to usual. Anyway I normally would have tested with fmu this morning but we’re on holiday abroad and didn’t bring a test with me as I was so convinced I was out due to poorly timed dtd this month. Anyway managed to pick up a slightly dodgy looking test and was going to try and either do a 4 hour hold or wait till tomorrow morning but have literally just gone to the bathroom and think AF has just arrived 😏 typical. On to cycle 13 we go, which will take us to the 1 year+ mark so we will also be getting tests done etc. Anyway guess the good news is I can drink to my hearts content on my hols and over Christmas.

@Saturnsmoon @Roxybabe thank you ladies ❤️ I’m feeling a little better now the days done, we are still really early into our journey I just have to be patient, but as you know it’s easier said than done isn’t it!

I have a night out planned with friends on the 23rd, family drinks on Christmas Day, then a party with friends on Boxing Day and again on New Year’s Eve! So the only consolation is I won’t have to lie/dodge social events around this busy time! Onwards & upwards to the next cycle! App predicts I’m due to ovulate on the 4th Jan so I feel that will come round quick with all the festivities! Think we probably need to DTD a little
more too incase the app is out at all.

@Saturnsmoon I may see you on the next thread and we can keep our fingers crossed our BFP arrives soon!

I’m still testing with OPK’s. still no peak and levels keep going up and down. Still getting ovulation like pain switching from one side to the other. Have no idea what’s going on

I have finally hit a peak today - a little later this month which I’m putting down to last months early miscarriage. I thought I might have an anovulatory cycle as I’ve had a couple over the 3 years we’ve been TTC but peak arrived this morning!

Ill be due to test early Jan so will be “on antibiotics” over the festive period 😂 If anyone needs an excuse, metronidazole makes a lot of perilla VERY sick if they mix with alcohol so it’s advised not to drink on it 😀

Hi everyone - I'm now on CD17 which is supposedly 3DPO (ie ovulation day was CD14 as it was the next day after the static smilie first appeared on clearblue digital test) But I'm feeling a bit paranoid that the clearblue digital tests are misleading. We dtd on CDs 8,9,11,13,14, but not since. It's been stressful few days hence why. Has anyone had experience with clearblue tests and found that they predict too early ? Ie I might have missed my actual ovulation day?

So sorry to hear that @Laul89. It’s so hard, especially when you have a good feeling about a cycle. Like you say, you’ve got lots of lovely celebrations to look forward to and hopefully you get your BFP in the new year! 🤞🏻

I’m 9dpo. I posted the other day that for the first month in ages I’ve been symptom spotting, pretty much convincing myself I’m pg. today I took a cheaply test which was BFN. I’ve still got 5 days until AF due (I have 24 day cycles)…..maybe too early ? I’ve been having cramps all week and first day of cramps I spotted.
mice got an early detection clear blue coming tomorrow, but think another BFN.

gutted after a year of ttc we decided that was our last month of active TTC so this was kind of my last chance :(:(

No BFP yet, tested everyday since 11dpo. Currently on CD29, but AF should have come today and hasn't-do I dare to still hope? 😬

@Needtobuildabridge with my first, I didn’t get a BFP until AF was 2 days late. And it was a healthy and happy pregnancy. I think there’s still hope 🥰

@LuckyStar511 Thank you, I needed that today. I just want to be able to tell my DH before Christmas that we're expecting. It would mean the world to him. 🤞🏻

@LuckyStar511 with my 1st I tested the day before AF was due and got a negative, then the next morning, a positive!

I also have 24-25 days cycles and got a BFN at 9dpo and a BFP at 10dpo so fingers crossed for you!

Well I'm back....joined a pregnancy chat...then low and behold started bleeding really heavy and now testing negative. I'm guessing a chemical - never even knew this was a thing. I'm absolutely devastated as had plans to tell family at Christmas. So sad :(
