Clear blue test. Evap line or positive

I'm about 8/10 dpo as I'm not certain what day I ovulated. I did a test and forgot about it and went back to it after an hour. I've heard bad things about CB and evap lines, but the line is very much blue.

just Update on the tests this is this mornings one now fully dry I’ll re add the rest still wet as well surely because the top one was lighter last night and todays was darker they can’t be evaps

If the line showed within the time frame then it’s a positive for sure! Maybe take a digital and see?!xxx

Yeah it definitely showed up it started off as shadow and just got darker then 3 minutes after I took it went to the photos I’ve sent in! I’m finally getting excited I’m going to get a digital soon as I’m paid Friday! Xx

Update I’ve took another clear blue got the same and I’ve inverted it surely this is 100% positive evaps wouldn’t be thick? Sorry if sounds silly I just have only had thin evap lines xx

That does look like a faint positive!! how many dpo are you do you know? Fingers crossed for you that those lines get darker!!✨

I have no clue as I have pcos so everything is so irregular I didn’t get a period last month, I’m going to take another test tomorrow I’ll give you an update then! I’m so glad someone else thinks it isn’t a evap x

You think so I took two clear blue that have the cross today but I don’t know what to make of them do you want to see?

These lines came up right away and just got darker. I just don’t know as I’ve had evaps before

above post^^ then I also took a pink dye and got a shadow if you can see that it’s a very dark shadow in person

If you want me to be totally honest with you I think the clearblue are evaps. Maybe they just photograph badly. But the lines don't seem to run the full way up and down. The seem broken in the middle. I also can't see anything on the pink dye but maybe that also isn't coming up well in photos.
I've been burnt many times with those clearblue tests so I just don't like getting people's hopes up in case that's the case.
I'm hope I'm wrong. Wait a few more days and try again. If you are actually getting faint lines now, then they will definitely be darker in a couple of days.

Nono don’t be silly I appreciate the honesty 100% I’ve just took my last one that I had with a hour hold photos took 3 minutes after I’ll add the photos I took I’d love your advice. I’ve got first response coming tomorrow

Update from above took another test and got this faint thick line right away I’ll add it when it was just took and then fully dried! Could this be proper positive full thick line no gap?

I’m not sure what to make of this. I looked at both of these tests after 2 minutes and to me they looked negative. I went to work and came back home after an 8 hour shift to show my sister that they were negative only to see these lines formed. Not sure if they’re evap lines or actual positives and I just didn’t give enough time for them to come through. What are y’all’s thoughts??? I am going to retest with a digital but still would like to know if this means positive or if they’re evap lines

It’s a tough one because they usually take 5 minutes to develop and sometimes the second line comes right at the end. But they do say throw away the test after 5 minutes to avoid a false result. I’d recommend taking another test with fmu and see what the result is after 5 minutes, all the best of luck to you! 🤞✨

I’m all abit confused from other posts some experience with these tests would be good has anyone been pregnant and had their first line like this I’m guessing I’d only be around 2 weeks from dates but it’s all abit stressful and can’t help but overthink I’m hoping it’s not an Evap line as was there instantly

No idea how many DPO, or how many days late for my period as my period varies every month which is making TTC so hard for me :(

However, after feeling sickly for the last 4 days, wanting to eat everything in sight and having the worst mood swings I decided maybe it was time for a test and it almost feels too good to be true that there could actually be a faint second line ?! Can anyone else see ?? I know blue dye tests can sometimes give evaps but given all the symptoms and the absence of AF I’m really hoping this is my month after so many cycles ending in disappointment!!!

I do see it but it’s very faint if you’re already late. Can you get a pink dye test?

2 days before my period is due I took test and line has come back I going wait few days before I test again any help what this is positive or nective as I have heard lot of bad news about clear blue test and don’t want build my hope up if not

Did the line come up quickly or did it take a while?
It's hard to see in that photo how thin it is. I personally would lean towards it being an evap. But can't say for definite. Next time test use a pink dye or digital. If you wait until you're late on your period a digital should work fine.
