Ovulation Day - anyone want to join me during the TWW?

Cycle 1 TTC baby #2. Baby #1 was conceived 4 years ago on the 3rd month of trying, but I had a CP on the first month. My LH peak was yesterday so I'm guessing today is ovulation day. DTD 4 days ago and 2 days ago, and going to again tonight just incase I have my timings slightly out. I'm an obsessive early tester and so will no doubt be testing from 8DPO onwards - I got my positive last time at 8DPO 😬

Anyone else just starting their TWW?

@Algor1thm I have a Tesco basic and clear blue digi weeks left from testing after my MMC do I’ll just use those (will only use the digi if I get a line on tescos). What do you prefer?

I have about 20 IC’s so it’s so hard to not test but I’m only 2dpo so there would be no point!! Still won’t stop me from testing though!!🤣x

And you use OPK's?
Looking for advice on use

I'm using OPK's first response and they read that day 12 has a positive and day after, say 13 a negative.
DTD on day 11... so does that give me a chance ?

@meetmeintheautumn hi! Because my cycles have been hard to predict following a loss I start using OPKs a day or two after my period, and keep using until the levels fall after the peak.

If you got your positive on day 12 then you probably ovulate on day 13, meaning you are in your fertile period for a few days before (including day 11). I've read that the best chance of conception is the day before ovulation (usually the day of the peak) but you're definitely in with a chance! Apparently sperm can survive up to 5 days in your body.

In terms of DTD, my partner and I have been together about a year and recently got engaged so we tend to DTD every day anyway, I just start logging it in the app once I'm logging OPKs and BBT!

@Mg19 oh wow ! I am very nervous I have a 1 year old and had an early misscarrige 3 months ago my heart broke and obviously this will sound aweful but we weren’t trying and I’m trying to not overthink and stress or get excited because to be honest the thought of when it comes to test I don’t know if I can bring myself to do one

When will you be testing? I think I’ll probably test at about 9dpo, I shouldn’t, but I won’t be able to stop myself! X

@Mg19 im going to try and wait till my period is due I got really obsessive last time testing however I might not be able to stop myself and get an early one On Thursday. Is this your first x

@Becca12344 That’s like me, I know if I test early, there’s chances it’ll be negative no matter if it does end up a BFP but I can’t stop myself. Got loads of IC’s so it’s hard to resist🤣. And yes, it is our first. So excited!! x
