Pregnancy Tests

I came off the pill in October and have been fairly regular since, with cycles of 31 days and 33 days. this time i am on day 36 and nothing. I did a pregnancy test on day 33 which after a couple of mins showed negative. when i looked at it a few hours later it had a positive result. i haven't done another one yet, as i don't feel pregnant, i don't have any of the symptoms they talk about? did anyone else have cycles like this after coming off the pill? the positive result is likely to be an evaporation line isn't it??

Women all release different levels of HCG (the hormone the test tests for)during pregnancy and you will need a certain level to show up as a positive.

Ok I know, it's only been 18 minutes. But lunch (the best part of the day) is over for me so need something else to focus on

exactly the same thing happened to me...took my first test 3 days before period due - looked negative - half a hour later faint line. repeat test few hours later barn door positive. some tests are not as sensitive.
