When I was TTC my first I was ovulating around CD14, now it seems to fluctuate, it was CD18 for a few cycles, then this cycle is CD15 so who knows 😂

@Kittenmum89 I took the seven seas trying for a baby ones 😊 best get straight on them if your implant removal is coming up as they recommend folic acid 3 months prior to TTC (although obviously many people get pregnant without that so don't panic that you're too late!!)

Question (to stop me incessantly googling / my brain melting)... I use digital clearblue ovulation kit which I find really useful.

Do you think I should take my ovulation date as the first static smiley, or is ovulation usually the day after that?

Static smiley was CD15 and today is CD24.

Had stabbing on lower left abdomen this morning and now have what feels exactly like early period pains but I'm not due for another 5 days or so.

Really hoping I'm not out for the month but also don't want to test before AF is due as it upsets me every month seeing a BFN,

Cycle ranges from 30-34 days usually.

I just got my BFP 🥰🥰 I'm sooo happy! Hoping it progresses all okay🤞🤞I felt cramps on one side on Saturday and got my BFP on Tuesday if that helps, due on Friday! X

@monsteramunch I take it as the day after my smiley face, as the LH surge is just before the egg is released and then as it is released it decreases again. I don’t want to get your hopes up, but with my first baby my first sign of pregnancy was period type pains and that was a few days before my period was due. Got my fingers crossed for you!

@monsteramunch oh yeah totally, I’m already getting excited and I’ve only just had ovulation 😂 hard not to get my hopes up because I got pregnant straight away with my first so my expectations are high 😬

Oh wow that must have been amazing it happening right away!

Nearly a year here but I would say only 6 months or so of those really tracking ovulation and some of the times logistically (work, ugh) it hasn't been possible to DTD all of the ideal days in each window.

Keep saying on here, if I knew it would definitely happen eventually then I wouldn't really mind when, it's just the not knowing and the panic it might not happen that is so stressful. Our timings were spot on this month so got everything crossed!

All the early BFPs on here are going to make it harder to wait till AF is due to test but I am going to try to hold off as it's so draining emotionally

@monsteramunch it was amazing! And such a shock because I had honestly convinced myself I wouldn’t be lucky enough to have children (for no reason apart from anxiety!).

yeah I know what you mean with not being able to DTD on the right days, I tried to get my partner to do it at 6:40am the other day and he was so not up for it 😂

yes it’s so emotionally draining! And if you do it before AF is due and get negatives, you’ll tell yourself that maybe it’s too early to tell, so you end up in an anxious cycle! I’m definitely going to wait, and try and tell myself to expect AF to arrive

had a girly day out with my mum today, retail
therapy at the designer outlets. Bought lots for my darling OH.
im feeling very emotional today too, hoping AF comes soon so I can track again.

@Ncl31 I'm sorry that must be so rubbish. Hope you're feeling okay though. How long are your cycles usually? (Sorry if you've already said, I lose track).

I'm 8dpo today. Work is keeping me busy so I tend not to even think about it at the moment! But it's helping me to get through the tww. I just keep tasting a metallic taste but I tend to get that randomly anyway, just seems a bit stronger today. Nothing else to report 😊 AF due Tuesday (ish).

Usually 28 - 30 days

Argh 9DPO and this evening the pains are really feeling exactly like the ones I get the day before AF. But AF not due for another four days and is never usually early.

Because the pain is so similar I keep thinking maybe AF has started but (sorry TMI) but it's just quite heavy discharge, which I never usually get.

Determined not to test until AF is due.

Trying not to get too down and hold onto hope a bit. Ugh. It's so draining all this isn't it?

@monsteramunch you're at that difficult part of the tww now where you're just waiting for those last few days and trying your best not to test! I'm just a day behind you 🙈 I have my fingers crossed for you!! 🤞🤞

Question for anyone who has fallen pregnant before - what's the latest DPO that you've tested positive after testing negative the days before?

For example has anyone tested negative at 11/12/13 DPO then positive after?

I'm really trying to hold off testing until AF is due (which will be 13DPO for me, today is 10DPO) but interested to know anyone experience of this in case I get tempted 😂

@monsteramunch i didn’t test before AF was due last time but what I will say is that when I did test (when af was a few days late) it was still a very faint line so I’m not convinced that it would’ve showed up any earlier!

@monsteramunch when I was pregnant with my little girl I didn't test till AF was late and it was a strong positive so I'd guess it would have shown at least a couple of days before if I'd have tested.

Interesting to hear everyone's different experiences - I'm going to try really hard not to test til AF is late. Or due at least!

Other months I've tested earlier and obsessively and it's definitely not good mental health / emotional resilience wise. For me at least, I'm sure for some other people it's manageable so not me saying other people shouldn't.

MN makes such a difference and I feel so happy (even though I'm jealous!) every time someone shares a BFP on here

@monsteramunch oh it's so hard isn't it! I keep saying I'm going to wait till Af due too (which is Tuesday) but the few days before is always so hard!
I had a dream last night that I tested and it was positive! 🙈 I also dreamt that my sister's friend took my last FRER test for her to test too 😂

Currently 11dpo, CD27, started with brown spotting. Have a feeling I'm out but it doesn't feel like AF yet 🤷🏼‍♀️ really hoping it's not.

Ahh I hope it’s not! Fingers are crossed for you. I’ve had some cramping this evening, I’m 5dpo. Trying not to think too much into it!

@Eka94 nothing so far 🤞 no further spotting, just on and off cramping but nothing major. CD28 today, AF due tomorrow so knicker watch today 🙈
