Hi everyone!

How you're all okay! Taken a bit of time off MN but now back and onto the next cycle. CD10 today and got my ultrasound tomorrow to see if the higher dose of letrozole has worked. I've definitely noticed some side effects this month which I didn't have last time so hoping it's a good sign 🙏🏻

@LuckyMoonstone sorry to hear af has arrived. I was really gutted this month, I was convinced we were in with a good chance. I over-indulged with wine and then cried a lot 🫠 still feeling a bit up and down but trying to return to positive thinking!

LuckyMoonstone · 05/07/2022 18:42

@Loz365 i did the same and felt crap the next day 🤦‍♀️ Oh well. Today was a hard day but I’ve been deliberately productive since I got home from work to stop myself from just sitting and crying all evening

RMS0209 · 05/07/2022 18:52

When did everybody get ovulation this month? Currently Cycle day 22 for me... so hopefully I ovulate soon x

LuckyMoonstone · 05/07/2022 21:36

@RMS0209 I managed to ovulate on CD18 last cycle! Bit of a difference from CD30 something! I’ve been taking vitamin c every morning, I read that it helps for ovulation 🤷‍♀️ Could just be a coincidence

Peonies94 · 06/07/2022 05:47

@Loz365 good luck for your scan! Hope it’s good news for you!!🤞🏻

sending love to you all ladies!

@Peonies94 thank you! How are you? Did you have your booking appointment recently?

@LuckyMoonstone sending you lots of love 💕

@RMS0209 I was CD27, it felt like a veryyyyy long month!!

Peonies94 · 06/07/2022 07:58

@Loz365 yes all okay so far! Just wanting to get to me 12 week scan now and see everything is okay! I know it’s still not ‘safe’ but feels a lot safer! Three more weeks to wait!

long cycles are so hard! I really feel for you all!

@Loz365 thank you x

Loz365 · 06/07/2022 15:39

Slightly better scan results today, I have 1 dominant follicle that they think should continue to enlarge and hopefully ovulate over the weekend BUT my endometrium thickness was only 3.7mm which they said is way too thin and unlikely to support implantation 😔
They want to check my day 21 progesterone level to confirm I'm ovulating on this dose of letrozole but they think it's unlikely I'll get pregnant and they want to do more scans next cycle and considering putting me on oestrogen patches to try and make my endometrium thicker.

Trying to see the positives but feeling a bit meh...

Anyone got more positive news to cheer me up?! X

Peonies94 · 06/07/2022 16:13

@Loz365 aww I’m sorry! Just try and think thst the more support and things they offer you, the closer you are to your positive! It’s hard finding out the bad news, but knowing they can give you things to overcome them will hopefully make you hopeful! ✨

Hi ladies, how is everyone?
Sorry to hear your news on thickness @Loz365, I had the opposite (too thick) and had a procedure to get a biopsy for it on Monday to check it's not anything bad. The reason I mention it is because I was talking to a friend about how down I felt and she was like, every new bit of information gets you one step closer, even if it's hard now, at least you have the knowledge and can make

MO22 · 10/07/2022 18:56

Boo lost half of my message there!

How is everyone else getting on?

MO22 · 10/07/2022 18:56

*can make informed decisions - was what that was meant to say!

Loz365 · 10/07/2022 19:48

@Peonies94 @MO22 thanks guys!

I'm now on holiday for a week and off to Cyprus so feeling very chilled and relaxed 😂
Also had a positive OPK and static CB smiley so all looking good for my earliest ovulation ever - CD15 today! Hopefully OvuSense shows a rise tomorrow to confirm 🙏🏻

How is everyone else doing? Any updates??

MO22 · 10/07/2022 19:53

Have an amazing time @Loz365, nothing like being chilled and relaxed for good things to happen!

I am trying to get my head around my weird OPKs - looks like I get around 0.7 as peak and then I don't actually ovulate until like 3 days later... Seems odd but hey ho. Should be ovulating tomorrow I think (CD19) but ovusense has me down as due CD21, but I can only assume that's because I ovulated then last month. Either way we had some panic sex yesterday and today as I only stopped bleeding from the op on like Thurs/Fri!

Fingers crossed that's done enough, might try again tomorrow and see what temps do. And then another bloody TWW... Ho hum!

Peonies94 · 10/07/2022 19:54

@Loz365 yayyy for the peak!! Have a wonderful time on holidays! Relax and enjoy every minute ☺️! Plenty of time to DTD then and cover peak? Best of luck!

Hello all!

@Loz365 have the best time away! Hope you have a relaxing time.

@MO22 hopefully you'll get some answers soon and it's nothing to worry about x

CD15 here today, and nothing much to report. My OKPs are getting very dark, and I'm on day 3 of flashing smiley. I've got a load of the clearblue tests so I'm just using them up tbh. Last cycle I had a false peak, followed by 10 days of high until I finally had a real one- really hoping it isn't going to be like this this time!

My temps are all over the place, but that is most probably because I've been having a few drinks this week as I'm not working. With DH having covid so recently, I'm not too hopeful for the next few cycles, so taking the pressure off.

MO22 · 11/07/2022 17:24

@theblueflowers hello, glad you're having a few drinks and relaxing!

I'm in the same boat, DH had covid last month so I'm trying to remind myself that it means we are probably not going to get a BFP for a while - it's hard tho! Hope you ovulate soon!

Really was trying not to stress about it this month but easier said than done right! Just feels a bit neverending!

TheIsaacs · 13/07/2022 14:37

Hey everyone, been super busy recently so haven’t been able to get on much. Fingers crossed for you @Loz365 whilst you’re away!

It looks like AF has turned up this afternoon, which is disappointing. Although I’m glad it’s only been a 35 day cycle, my last one was 113!

I had something weird happen with my chart- a few days ago it gave me a possible OV window for day 29. That disappeared yesterday and then today AF. Is it because my temp wasn’t sustained enough? It seemed to be low when I started using the core and now is higher than it was but very up and down. Anyone any ideas?

OVUSENSE (ovucore) thread 2
theblueflowers · 13/07/2022 20:49

I am not an expert at all @TheIsaacs but from your chart, it doesn't look like there is a clear shift to show ovulation, but obviously it's weird that you have started your period. It could be an anovulatory cycle?

I know you said that you are under a consultant for PCOS. I am too, and he was really interested in looking at my charts. I do find that if you go with information they are more prepared to help and prescribe.

TheIsaacs · 14/07/2022 18:56

Thanks @theblueflowers i agree it doesn’t look like other charts I’ve seen. Obviously its not a full cycles worth as I didn’t receive my core until part way through. I was also recovering from a hospital stay and serious illness so maybe that skewed it all a bit too. It will be interesting to see what happens this cycle. I’ve been thinking for a while that something has changed as my luteal phase seems to have dropped from its previous 14 days down to about 10 days. That’s if i’m even ovulating, but usually it was a clockwork 14 days from EWCM to AF and that’s changed in the last 6 ish months.

Good idea to show to the consultant- hopefully I’ll get to see him face to face soon!

MO22 · 17/07/2022 08:37

Hi ladies, hope everyone is well.
Wondered if anyone had a POV on my chart.
I had a FW shaded and expected ovulation for CD21 and then a positive OPK at CD16... But not peak. It then went down to nothing so I stopped testing a few days ago.
I assumed a CD19 ovulation but it still hasn't confirmed but I assume I have ovulated tho looking at temps?
I think it might be a bit thrown off as I had a few drinks CD17/18 which might have made it a bit higher.

It's annoying me basically ha, has anyone else had this?

OVUSENSE (ovucore) thread 2
LuckyMoonstone · 18/07/2022 10:34

argh ovusense is doing this again! I’ve had ONE temp rise and it thinks ovulation happened, even though it’s right back down today. I’ve been doing 2-3 opks a day and haven’t had a peak so I know I haven’t ovulated. Yet when I actually did ovulate last month and had four rises in a row it refused to acknowledge ovulation 🤔 ovusense is a bit of a dumbass.

OVUSENSE (ovucore) thread 2
Loz365 · 18/07/2022 13:46

Hi everyone!

Back from my holiday and I can highly recommend it as a distraction from the dreaded TWW!

OvuSense confirmed ovulation on CD16, my earliest ever so very happy we've finally got the dose of letrozole right. Chart attached for anyone that loves looking at them like me 😆 And already 7DPO today - not too hopeful this month after the nurse's comment on my endometrial lining being too thin but we'll see what happens.

@MO22 I think if there's missing days around ovulation it can mess up the confirmation. Looking at your chart I would say you have definitely ovulated but it's difficult to say when with the missing days

@LuckyMoonstone I've had that where it thinks a one off high temp is your ovulation window. Then it disappears after a few days. Last time did it eventually get your ovulation date correct?

OVUSENSE (ovucore) thread 2
LuckyMoonstone · 18/07/2022 14:56

@Loz365 nope it eventually cancelled the first ovulation window which was wrong, but then didn’t recognise when I actually ovulated despite elevated temps! Ridiculous.
