So I’m out AGAIN!

Trying to move forward.

Anyone else hoping to conceive a Feb baby?

I’d be due around Feb 20th if this month actually does anything!

@allthingssparkly yes I will probs test tomorrow morning.. although the likelihood of me actually being pregnant I think is extremely low.. if I was testing negative with FMU on cycle day 29 and I've had no implantation bleeding, then surely I'm not...😭

Still no sign of AF yet though but she'll come next weekend no doubt!! Xx

HR2022 · 05/06/2022 10:16

Aww @BiscuitLover3678 so sorry to hear this.. where abouts in your cycle are you?

Tropicana1 · 05/06/2022 11:33

@HR2022 implantation bleeding isn't a requirement of being pregnant! Most people don't get any bleeding before a bfp x

@allthingssparkly I use the pregnacare preconception vitamins - interestingly the study I was reading earlier about caffeine and conception found that taking multi vitamins was positively correlated to successful pregnancy / reduced early losses so definitely worth it!

allthingssparkly · 05/06/2022 11:34

You never know @HR2022 keep us updated 😊😊🀞🀞 xx

newjourney21 · 05/06/2022 12:22

Hi all! Is it okay for me to join? I am 5DPO and TTC #1. I have woken up this morning with stomach cramps and a headache since last night that just won't budge! My app says I'm not due on until the 13th so strange for me to have AF symptoms already but I think it is too early to be having any signs?!

Charl881 · 05/06/2022 12:30

@BiscuitLover3678 i do think if I’m not pregnant again in a couple of cycles I’m going to try to reduce my caffeine intake, just because I want to feel like I’m doing everything I can. Sorry your test was negative this morning.

Charl881 · 05/06/2022 12:31

@allthingssparkly im taking pregnacare conception as is DP, I’m sure they helped when TTC DS. I’m also now taking vitamin d and coq10.

allthingssparkly · 05/06/2022 13:13

Thank you @Charl881 I'm definitely going to get some pre conception vitamins ordered so I can started taking them this cycle, fingers crossed they help! 🀞

@Tropicana1 yes that's true actually, I just struggle to believe I am with my negative test on cd29 :( who knows I'm not very good at being optimistic! Xx

BiscuitLover3678 · 05/06/2022 15:37

Feeling dizzy but test negative. Is that a symptom?

MamaSJ15 · 05/06/2022 16:35

Jumping back on here, I assumed I'd be on the next month as I had what seemed like a normal period bang on time. However, at CD10, I've been feeling a bit off this afternoon, tummy a bit sore and lower back ache, something felt off, so I tested (I know, random), it's positive!! So I should be due February 😊 hoping it's going to be okay as I had what seemed like a normal period!

Charl881 · 05/06/2022 19:58

@MamaSJ15 that’s amazing, congratulations!!

@BiscuitLover3678 definitely a symptom! How many dpo are you now?

HR2022 · 06/06/2022 07:00

Another BFN this morning! Gona stop testing now and wait for AF to arrive! πŸ™„ x

I think I'm 8dpo, couldn't help but test this morning even though I knew it was too soon and of course negative!
Been feeling off since Tues, quite nauseous and exhausted. I'm trying to not get my hopes up too much. I've had symptoms immediately the two times I've been pregnant (1 miscarriage prior to DD) but no sore boobs like I did last time so its hard not to draw comparisons!
I'm going to try hold off until Friday for testing now 🀞.

Around 9/10 but negative test and now feel totally normal so maybe I was imaging it, who knows.

How much will you reduce caffeine by? Maybe I’ll join you.

what about dh? I’m trying to work out if I can get him to do anything too πŸ˜‚

Leamch · 06/06/2022 11:49

I'm 10 days dpo and did an early test today which was negative. still early but I think I feel normal again after a few days of exhaustion. going to wait and see if aw comes on Friday but I am doubtful. it is our first try so I didn't expect it anyway!
I am reducing caffeine, not sure if it makes a difference but figured I should get used to it! I usually drink 2 cups a day so going to 1 cup plus a decaf as I like my coffee break routine at 11am when working.

Charl881 · 06/06/2022 13:19

@BiscuitLover3678 I was basically thinking of cutting down to pregnancy levels. DP won’t change anything because his view is we can clearly get pregnant, it’s the staying pregnant that’s the issue.

9/10dpo is still early to test so 🀞🏻🀞🏻

Is that like one cup a day?

we’ve literally had nothing so maybe dp needs to cut down something. he’s already taking vitamins.

Sorry to hear about your BFN @HR2022 πŸ˜” x

allthingssparkly · 06/06/2022 15:57

Congratulations on your BFP @MamaSJ15 did you literally have a normal period and then test positive after that? X

MamaSJ15 · 06/06/2022 16:26

@allthingssparkly thank you, yes, period was practically normal. Lasted a couple of days longer than usual but the last couple of days were just light pink spotting and when I actually thought about it I didn't have any normal period cramps or anything.
I have been in touch with the docs today though cause I've had quite bad cramping pains overnight and today and mostly to one side so I've been concerned about it. She told me to test again later, if it's positive then call them in the morning and they can send me to early pregnancy unit for a scan or if the pain gets worse she said go to a&e.

allthingssparkly · 06/06/2022 16:30

@MamaSJ15 I didnt honestly know that was a thing, to have a period as normal and test positive after but that is such wonderful news, did you have early pregnancy symptoms before your period?

I really hope everything goes well for you and rhe cramping eases, pregnancy can be such a worry! X

Charl881 · 06/06/2022 17:25

@MamaSJ15 fingers crossed the pain eases but defo go to A&E if it gets worse or if you get any shoulder pain.

Good that they’ll refer you to EPU, hopefully you’ll be able to get an early scan for peace of mind!

personallyvictimisedbyreginageorge · 06/06/2022 17:40

When would you usually contact your GP/midwife? I'm 4+5 so is that too early? It's my first and no one else knows, so I haven't got a clue and no one to ask!

MamaSJ15 · 06/06/2022 17:58

@allthingssparkly I'm guessing it wasn't a proper period but I've heard of a lot of ladies who have had period like bleeds during pregnancy. No, none that I can think of.

@Charl881 thank you, yes I'll keep a look out for that.

@personallyvictimisedbyreginageorge you can call for a midwife appointment at any time from now but they won't see you until about 8ish weeks usually. With my first I called as soon as I found out but that 4 weeks is a long wait πŸ˜‚
