@Alice1608 Congrats on your engagement! I'm getting married in November and also worried about the potential dress/bump situation - one of the reasons we're waiting to try in September.

This is my first month trying to track ovulation - OPKs and temping. CD21 and still no sign... slightly nervous that I may not be ovulating.

I have a pelvis ultrasound Saturday morning as I've been experiencing some sharp pains throughout my cycles on one of my ovaries so they want to check for cysts etc. Apprehensive about the scan but hopefully nothing scary getting on and better to know I guess...

Aww thank you! What date are you getting married? I've just had my implant out, so hope it takes some time to adjust lol xxx

You see some people getting pregnant just after they have the implant out, so you never know! It's so hard to guess isn't it, as every woman is so different! I find the lack of control I have over the whole thing so challenging.

Can anyone recommend what brand of OPKs to try? Is it worth shelling out for the clear blue or are the cheap strips just as good?

Omg at Desertsnow! I'm getting married on the 4th!!! We can be.wedding buddies!!! Lol
Yes I have my dress too and there is zero room in it!lol. So I took out now.assuming.i would need time to adjust. However we will see.on that front! Lolxxx

@LucyLoopyLu honestly as someone who used opks for 18 months, I wouldn't pay for the clear blue ones. They're expensive and I found they did the same job as the cheap ones. However some people find the clear blue ones easier to read as they have a digital smiley thing to tell you when you're ovulating.

I use the Femometer ovulations sticks from Amazon - they've also seemed bang on duty my cycles. Plus they come with some cheap pregnancy tests too. They come in a box of 50 for about 12 quid.

@Alice1608 no way, what are the chances? Ah how exciting, yes wedding buddies for sure! When I got the dress we didn't think we'd be trying till after the wedding but then things changed and here we are.

@Theawkwardblonde ah that's reassuring, those are the ones I've been using. They've not detected ovulation yet and neither has temping - CD22 so hopefully soon...
