@LuckyMoonstone mine was blank first test, which correlated to my easy at home strips which were so light, when I was in my fertile window I got a solid smiley so I’m not sure they just go blank first, may be worth getting some cheap ones as I only used my clear blue digital to confirm I was actually about to ovulate with my easy at home sticks.

Lizm1990 · 02/04/2022 16:17

Hi ladies how are you getting on? So today I just had an aromatherapy full body massage by what would have been my midwife, bitter sweet but I’m so glad I went as she gave me a hug and she was so supportive, the massage was just what I needed! I’m really hoping I catch soon so I can go back to her as I didn’t have a good experience with the nhs so my mom bless her paid for Linda who practices private.

On a side note I’m 7dpo and I feel like I’m going crazy symptom spotting all the time 😩😩😩 everything from analysing twinges, to checking out my CM 🤦‍♀️ to ooo my back is aching 🤣🤣 I can’t stop thinking about it! I know you ladies will know what I mean, the TWW is torture!

LuckyMoonstone · 02/04/2022 17:20

@Lizm1990 I’m pretty sure I’ve always had a blank first but I wasn’t sure if it was because I start testing too early or if you’re meant to always have a blank first. I’m probably just starting early lol

bunnykins123 · 02/04/2022 19:18

@LuckyMoonstone that's absolutely correct. Even if you test 1st time when you are having a peak, it will register as a blank circle as that's its baseline. Some women O early, some late so if you have an idea of when you can start a good few days in advance to catch the flashies then static. I started testing at CD8 once and had 8 flashies 🤦‍♀️

@calimc83 good to know, I started taking so much since my last mc that I'm not sure I'm going a bit overboard! 🥴

@WorriedD93 @Lottie2267 im sorry you're both cramping. Really hoping AF stays away 🤞

@Lizm1990 cycle buddies! I'm 6DPO - it's torture. I absolutely despise the TWW! What symptoms are you getting? I have absolutely nothing so fairly sure I'm out.

LuckyMoonstone · 02/04/2022 20:06

@bunnykins123 that’s what I thought, surely it needs something to go off to know whether your hormones are rising.

WorriedD93 · 02/04/2022 22:05

@bunnykins123 I’ve caught it on the day and it’s come as a solid smiley so I don’t think that’s the case, this was only 2 cycles back as I only had one left xxx

Ladies, I’m out, AF has officially arrived :( devastated, 3 months left to try. Fingers crossed xxxx

Cegbee · 02/04/2022 22:27

Hi, I'm new to this thread, I recently had a MMC at 8+5, embryo measured 6+4 and I had surgical management on Tuesday the 29th of March. Obstetrician said I could start trying again whenever and I didn't need to wait for next period. Practically speaking when would you call CD1? The day of my procedure? Then obviously adjust things when next period happens? I was thinking of starting ovulation tests at 10 days post procedure but I have no idea what I'm doing really, I've never done ovulation testing before. Any advice would be appreciated!

Lizm1990 · 02/04/2022 22:33

@bunnykins123 yayyy cycle buddies 😊😊 tbh I feel like I’m imaging stuff, being super tired, had lower backache today, had vivid dreams last night and have shiny slippery CM but I’m trying to keep saying to myself it’s probably something else as it’s my first proper cycle. Before I was pregnant last year I was convinced I was pregnant on my first cycle after stopping the pill but AF came so I’m trying to block out the thoughts as much as I can 😊 hopefully we both get out sticky beans soon 🤞

Lottie2267 · 03/04/2022 06:29

Ah ladies AF has got me this morning, knew it was coming 😭 feeling so down about TTC now, why is it so hard mentally. I was so chill about it last month up until the last few days, gutted.

I hope you’re ok @WorriedD93 🤍 it’s so rubbish isn’t it.

I’m sorry for your loss @Cegbee this is a great group of supportive girls. I can’t offer you any advice really, they wouldn’t give me surgical management at the time of mine because of Covid so I had to wait for it to happen naturally. I counted the day it actually happened as cycle day 1 but no idea if this is right or not.

Fingers crossed for you both @bunnykins123 and @Lizm1990 🤞🏼😀

calimc83 · 03/04/2022 07:41

@Lottie2267 so sorry lovely. I found the arrival of AF so so hard each month. Look after yourself today and remember next cycle is a fresh start and could well be the one. I caught on the only moth I didn't use OpKs as well as trying to go for the 'relaxed ' approach xx

calimc83 · 03/04/2022 07:42

@WorriedD93 so sorry to see the witch 🧙‍♀️ got you as well xxx

bunnykins123 · 03/04/2022 08:26

@WorriedD93 @Lottie2267 sorry AF arrived 😞

@Cegbee I'm so sorry to hear about your loss, be kind to yourself and take them time you need to grieve. That's what I did and then just used cheapies to track. It may take a while longer to O your first cycle than usual as you will have jumpy hormones for a while. This forum is really good for support 💕

@Lizm1990 funny you said about vivid dreams, I am defo having them but didn't think too much about it! I dreamt two nights ago that DH went to school with Freddie Mercury and we want to one of his concerts. DH then went on stage and sung We Will Rock You. How could I forget that little gem?! 😂

Sassy144 · 03/04/2022 08:30

Morning ladies, I've been off for a few days so just catching up. Sorry to those who have had af arrive, and hope everyone else in the tww is doing okay. I'm feeling pretty rubbish as I went for my work (postponed) Christmas party on Friday, I was a couple dpo so said to myself I wouldn't drink just pretend, and that totally went out the window 😖

Lizm1990 · 03/04/2022 08:43

@Lottie2267 sorry AF has arrived for you, I remember last year feeling really down when it came it’s so hard 💗

@Cegbee sorry for your loss ❤️ I had surgical management on the 10th Feb and I counted that as CD1 but I didn’t try until after my first AF but I’ve been using the Premom app with some easy at home tests which has helped. I found it quite frustrating waiting for ovulation to happen as I had no clue what my body was doing

@bunnykins123 haha, I had some more dreams last night one about me holding my friends baby clearly what I want is coming out in my dreams 😔

WorriedD93 · 03/04/2022 09:02

@Lottie2267 sorry to hear yours arrived too. Early pains woke me this morning so I’ve a hot water bottle in bed, sending you love! Hope your okay, let’s pray for next month, 💜 I’m really down about it too.

Ladies if anyone if interested I have my own group following my extremely long fertility group on Facebook, I’ve attached a picture below. 💜 some ladies post they’re recommendations and things on there xxx

Thank you ladies for all your support.

Greetings from the holiday cottage. I decided not to take any pregnancy tests with me (but did bring tampons etc) as AF due on Tuesday. So of course Im now symptom spotting without that nice stark white reality check. I'm home next weekend, so it might be a long week!

LuckyMoonstone · 03/04/2022 12:56

@Tofu35 hope you have a fun week and do lots of nice things to take your mind off symptom spotting!

calimc83 · 03/04/2022 17:02

@Tofu35 have a lovely holiday! Have u gone anywhere nice? Xx

EmeraldIsleGal · 03/04/2022 17:36

Preparing to start trying again next month after a MC on my first pregnancy in January I'm excited and also very nervous and worried that I will have another MC, I'm taking the best prenatal vitamins I can find (in my opinion) and drinking raspberry tea , is there anything else anyone would recommend to give me the best chance at a successful pregnancy next time around ?

MrsRosaline · 03/04/2022 17:39

Hi everyone, could I join please? Two early miscarriages. I'm feeling hopeful that the next one will stick 🤞🏻 CD9 today for me.

@EmeraldIsleGal which ones are you taking?

MO22 · 03/04/2022 18:13

Hi everyone, long time lurker. Amazing to see some pregnancies since I last check in, huge congrats.

Just wondered if anyone had an success with accupuncture? Going tomorrow for first one and a bit nervous!

Lizm1990 · 03/04/2022 18:36

@MrsRosaline sorry for your loss ❤️ I’m CD8 so fingers crossed for you, I know there’s a couple of other ladies around this time in our cycles so hopefully one of us will have a bfp this cycle!

@EmeraldIsleGal I too had a MC for my first one too 😔 I can’t offer any advice im just taking folic acid vitamin D, trying to walk every day for 30 mins, eating healthier than I ever did before trying to get more fruit veg and protein in me, but aside from that im choosing not to drink at all. I think though it’s a mental thing aswell, I had a massage yesterday and it relaxed me so much in my head for a while I wasn’t over thinking everything.

@MO22 not personally tried it but when I had my massage by what would have been my private midwife she did recommend reflexology not the same but something else to try

bunnykins123 · 03/04/2022 19:32

@EmeraldIsleGal I'm so sorry to hear of your loss, it's so hard. I think a good multi vitamin will do it (400mg folic and some vit d) and dependant on age, coq 10 is good for egg health.

@Tofu35 have a fab time!!! ☀️

@MrsRosaline 👋👋👋 welcome!

@MO22 welcome back!!! Great to see you back again 😀 I'm doing acupuncture. Started about a month ago so not sure what the benefits are yet. I have defo noticed a change (in a good way!) in hormones. I don't find it overly relaxing, I think other things are better for that such as massage or reflexology. It's expensive though 🥴

@Sassy144 im terrible at not drinking in the TWW - I honestly think life is too short so I say drink up and enjoy your life! Did you have a good time?

MO22 · 03/04/2022 19:50

@bunnykins123 👋🏼 how are you?! Whereabouts are you in your cycle at the mo?

My hormones are all over the place on a good day, so hoping some jabby needles help. I read the testimonials on the woman's website and burst into tears (all about getting pregnant and staying pregnant) so figure even if it's a placebo it can't hurt!

I also second you on drinking, don't beat yourself up @Sassy144... I've definitely tried to reduce my alcohol intake but it's important to relax too!

Sassy144 · 03/04/2022 22:26

Thank you @bunnykins123 @MO22 I did have a nice time and it's so hard to behave like we're pregnant before we actually are!
