@LuckyMoonstone please try not to panic too much. Sometimes you do just get random stupid cycles like mine last month (and I remember a silly 35 day one with no ov when TTC DD2). It’s frustrating, but if it doesn’t happen you just need to write it off and look forward to the next cycle. My silly cycle Last time round was followed by a normal one, looks like I’m about to ovulate now after a silly cycle, and DD2 was actually conceived during a silly cycle when I didn’t ovulate until CD25!

I do get your frustration though. I’m still pissed off that my last one was a dud when we had so many DTD opportunities 🙄 It should have been damn perfect!

@curliegirlie with my cycles being so stupidly long I can’t afford to keep missing cycles. It will be over a month before I get to the point of ovulation in my next cycle. That’s a really long time to wait when you’re desperate to conceive. Especially as I’m going to pass my original due date without being pregnant. That’s what I was really trying to avoid. Every month that we’ve been trying since we lost our baby, there’s been something wrong. I’ve either ovulated but had a short LP, or I haven’t ovulated at all. I’m so fed up and depressed about it all.

@LuckyMoonstone it’s awful, I know. Particularly the pressure of wanting things to come together before certain dates (for me, I guess it’ll be my 40th in July, and then my due date from the MC in November). How long are your cycles? When I first came off the pill to TTC DD1 and before I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism, my cycles were absolutely all over the place, ranging from 27 days, a couple of mid 40 day cycles, to the ridiculous 146 day cycle. It was horrific. Especially as for 10 of those cycles I don’t think I was ovulating. All you can do is carry on ov testing with fingers crossed that this month is just super late and that next cycle is more sensible. I feel your pain, I really do….

I’m having quite sharp cramps, I’m hoping it’s Ov…. I’m waiting at least another hour before I do another OPK though.

Sounds promising! We did manage some fun this morning, so see whether we have the energy for anything else tonight then be happy that the last few days of the TWW fall whilst we’re on holiday so I should be nicely distracted…

Ok it’s gone Slightly up to 0.2 now. Still not really what I hoped for!

I'm 8dpo today and either had the mystical implantation bleed today or AF is starting sooner than planned. The urge to test is so strong but if it was implantation then I have at least a few more days, and I really don't want to waste more money on tests if it's just my period!

@theblueflowers I've had exactly the same thing! I had what could have been implantation bleeding yesterday at 8dpo. Nothing since. One app thinks because of my usual short luteal phase that I was due af today and the other has gone by my usual cycle length and thinks I'm not due till Saturday. I ovulated at CD17 which is a lot earlier for me so who knows! I'm gonna try a cheapie tomorrow and I've ordered some FRERs. I've been to the toilet so many times today to check 🙈

well I’m truly confused. Waiting for ovulation post mc.
had very very faint prey tests but positive opk. And got ovulation pain on Saturday. So we dtd a few times. But no temp rise so figured it was a fluke and opks were due to low hcg.

bit then last few days I’ve had EWCM. And then today get a temp rise. And opks are now negative. And my CM had changed to post ovulation CM

🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️ Not sure if I ovulated yesterday and it was super late from the opks. Or I did ovulate Saturday and my temp has taken a few days to rise.

which is not normal for me. But I guess could be cos this cycle may not be normal as such post mc.

so I think I’m in the 2ww now…not sure if our dtd was timed as well as it could be. But I’m making a stab in the dark. Have to see if I’m temps stay up next few days and guess then I’ll know 🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️

Hi all, interesting development here.
OPK really light this morning, not even worth taking a photo of for my chart. Temp rise overnight, not quite as high as I would’ve liked. BUT I’ve just been to the loo and I’ve got some very light pink ewcm… ovulation bleeding maybe??
So now it all makes a bit more sense. My LH surge was Saturday night as I suspected, and I missed it. Which would explain the cramps & sore boobs sunday and Monday. Sunday night my temp plummeted, and last night came back up. Again not as high as I hoped, BUT it might be a slow climber? So all being well I should see it rising even more again overnight.
I am feeling a tiny bit more hopeful…

@peachiekeen it's so annoying! I too am constantly checking in the loo. Haven't had anything since though, so don't know what to think!
Have you tested today? Hope it's looking promising!

@theblueflowers no nothing at all since! I did a Premom strip this morning and it was stark blank! I'm 10dpo today. I've ordered some FRER and I'm gonna try one tomorrow 🤞🏼 I just want to knowww x

@peachiekeen over the 3 years I’ve been off contraception and ovulating, I’ve had ovulation bleeding I think twice before. No correlation between ov bleed and BFP. Maybe those months I just ovulated really hard haha.

@Indianna2006 that was a positive OPK not a HCG test! But I was very happy to see that line after the past two cycles in any case. What it does mean though is that AF is due slap bang in the middle of my holiday! So it’ll either be sanitary products or no alcohol! 🙄

@LuckyMoonstone it sounds like the pinky discharge was ovulation bleeding. It sounds promising that you have ovulated and now in the 2ww. Has your discharge changed? What bbt are you using? I ordered an ovusense to use this cycle but bloody typical the thing doesn't work so I don't think it'll be set up before this cycle is done. Livid 😂

@bunnykins123 still got ewcm today, I’ve been to the loo a few times today and it’s either a really light pink streak in the cm, or literally the faintest hint of discolouring on the paper, like when your period finishes and you just get the last few hints of brown on the paper. I can’t see any other reason for it, I’m CD25 and no way is it AF starting, I’ve never been that early in my life!
Ive got the ovucore that you wear internally, I’m finding it quite interesting to track my temp. Oh that’s so annoying! Can they replace it?
Owch just had a really sharp cramp whilst typing this…. Come on little eggy! Glad we DTD last night, gonna give it one more shot tonight as well.

@LuckyMoonstone I had that last cycle too which I put down to ovulation bleeding. Mine was basically a bit cloudier EWCM with a thin line of the brown. That's the one I've got too but so far nothing works which I'm really annoyed about! When tapping on my phone it literally doesn't do anything when in the app. Doesn't register, doesn't take temps, absolutely nothing. Did you have any problems setting yours up?

Still blank tests so I think my body is just playing tricks on me. Either that or I just had the shortest and earliest period ever on record. 11dpo and stark white on FRER and a cheapie Premom. Just a waiting game now 🙄

argh temp down again this morning! How am I getting literally all the ovulation signs but no temp rise? There’s no way that spotting wasn’t ovulation bleeding. It was too coincidental. It didn’t look or feel like anything else. I’ve attached a pic so you can see my rubbish chart!

@bunnykins123 I set it up really easily but I do find sometimes that it takes ages to connect to the sensor! Some mornings I literally tap my phone on it and it’s immediately done, some days I spend 5-10 minutes moving it around, holding it against different parts of the device, and I just cannot get it to read the sensor! And then suddenly it decides to work.

@LuckyMoonstone maybe you’ll see the temp rise tomorrow 🤞.

I seem to have fallen into a much better rhythm waking up at a similar time each morning and taking my temperature so I think the last few days temps have been genuine and this morning’s rise is also genuine. Really glad it seems to be falling into place as it’s so much less guesswork involved when you’re temping - and you get a day or two’s warning of AF. If I’d been temping the last couple of cycles I’d have known for certain I wasn’t ovulation and it would have removed the silly false hope I had each time.
