@peachiekeen oh yes I've read that book too. I'm bad for ruminating over past mistakes so that was a nice book for reminding me that way of thinking isn't useful! I hope your holiday is relaxing, sounds like you picked a good spot in your cycle to go away!

LuckyMoonstone · 10/04/2022 12:40

@Louisa89614 urgh I hate it when it’s like that! My first one after MC was terrible, totally soaked myself at work ☹️ Hope you’re feeling ok

peachiekeen · 10/04/2022 12:44

@Tofu35 literally perfect timing! Couldn't ask for a better way to stop me from obsessing. I booked it last min after my last af as I felt so low and just needed something to look forward to and to get some headspace from myself!

Sassy144 · 10/04/2022 13:38

@bunnykins123 some say it's good for fertility, can help with sperm count in men and hormone balance in women. Good for energy and libido which can't hurt! I've also sworn to try to lay off the alcohol from now and to start yoga etc, hope it helps!

@peachiekeen thank you lovely and enjoy your holiday! I totally agree about being told we're so fertile after MC because now every month that goes by unsuccessful I feel I'm running out of time!

MrsRosaline · 10/04/2022 16:38

@peachiekeen love The Midnight Library!

@calimc83 I also have reflexology! I'm a super stress head so I find it really helps to calm me down and unwind - even if it's only for two hours in a month! 😄

Feeling very sleepy after a huuuuge Sunday dinner. The eating well around ovulation hasn't gone to plan 👀

Skl2021 · 10/04/2022 18:41

@Tofu35 congratulations 💞 so glad this thread is still getting bfps 🙌🌈 good luck to everyone trying this month 💞✨ xx

@Sassy144 so I did have 2 glasses last night and sat night (mainly to drown my sorrows of AF arriving 😂) but that's me done now until the weekend. I can't cut it out completely - I'm not putting myself under that much torture! Good to know, thanks for letting me know. I've read good things about bone broth (vom) so trying that this month too. God help me 🤦‍♀️

@peachiekeen enjoy your holiday! I've always been told the same - I've had 3 early miscarriages and never have they been the cycle immediately after my miscarriages!

@Louisa89614 you're right 😂 it's quite nice in some respects to have cycle buddies that can obsess over everything together 🤪

@Lizm1990 thanks so much, it was a weird cycle from the get go 🤷‍♀️ I'm glad I can move on from it!

@calimc83 I know! It was such a weird cycle that I'd be lying if if said I didn't think there was a possibility - but nope 👎 It's made me realise though that FRER are truly evil as 2 months in a row, I've had vvvvvvvvf lines. I suspect they are indents but I've never had them before when trying for DD 😶 I might have a look into that then. I get so caught up on age and the what ifs (went down the google rabbit hole last night with regarding early menopause, urghhhh🤦‍♀️) so someone helping me chill out may really help. I already had a couple of glasses last night (I mean I think I deserve it after getting AF, right?!) how are you doing? Do you have many symptoms yet?

LuckyMoonstone · 11/04/2022 11:18

CD23 and I’m still only getting flashy smileys! If I really haven’t ovulated yet then this is going to be the longest cycle ever if there’s still 2+ weeks left to go :(

LuckyMoonstone · 11/04/2022 11:24

Also ovulation this month has been giving me full on pregnancy symptoms- achy boobs, nausea, mild cramps. So unnecessary 😂

Sassy144 · 11/04/2022 12:29

@bunnykins123 I also had a drink last night 😂 but I agree if we can't drown our sorrows to mark af's arrival then I'll be totally miserable haha. I had a spoonful of maca in my porridge this morning, a little funky but not too bad. Probably won't do anything but it helps me to feel like I'm trying something.

Sassy144 · 11/04/2022 12:31

@LuckyMoonstone I get horrific chin spots during ovulation, so rude!

Lottie2267 · 11/04/2022 12:33

Had a bit of a break from here but congratulations @Tofu35 over the moon for you 🥰 hope everyone else is doing ok xxx

calimc83 · 11/04/2022 12:52

@bunnykins123 oh do u think maybe they could have been chemicals maybe? Definitely enjoy that wine lovely when you can..☺️..I was also obsessed with age. How old are you? I've just turned 39..definitely look into the hypnosis if u think it'll help, certainly helped me xx

Diamondbabe · 11/04/2022 13:43

Please could someone help? Sadly I had a miscarriage at 8.5 weeks and had to have surgery on the 24th March.

They have said that if you are still showing a positive pregnancy test after 3 weeks to call them.

The pregnancy test I did last Sunday was very faint and you could barely see the line. It took a few minutes to show.

I took one this morning and it came up instantly and a lot darker.

Could I have fallen pregnant again? We have been trying and it would match up with the dates when we had sex on the 28th/29th.

Could anyone help or give me your thoughts? I'd love it to be positive but obviously don't want to delude myself either! Stranger things have happened though right? First picture is the test on last Sunday which is almost completely negative, second is this mornings test.

Sassy144 · 11/04/2022 14:00

@Diamondbabe I'm sorry you went through that 💛 it could certainly be possible that it is a new pregnancy if the tests are getting darker instead of lighter. Do you know if/when you ovulated? Fingers crossed for you xx

LuckyMoonstone · 11/04/2022 18:51

I finally got a static smiley tonight!!!! Will def DTD tonight, is it worth doing tomorrow as well?

Tofu35 · 11/04/2022 19:51

@luckymoonstone woohoo! Solid smiley night! Usually we tried to dtd on solid night and the two nights after, just to make sure we are really over the line.

LuckyMoonstone · 11/04/2022 19:54

@Tofu35 yeah I reckon it’s best to overcompensate lol, will go for tonight and tomorrow I think.
I’ve only had 3 days of flashing this month which is pretty good, I normally get them for over a week. CD24 is really late for me to be ovulating even by my standards, but I’m quite glad I got a solid quickly, I feel a bit more optimistic about my body’s capabilities haha

bunnykins123 · 11/04/2022 22:20

@Diamondbabe I'm so sorry for your loss 💕 with my first MMC, where babes heartbeat stopped at 10.5 weeks and found out at the 12 week scan, my HCG took 3 months to go back to 0. I had to keep going back and forth for blood tests to make sure it was going down. I used FRER tests and my lines jumped around quite a bit for a while. In your case, it could be a new pregnancy. Test again in a few days and if darker, maybe ask for a blood test by the GP. But also know that HCG can take a while to leave your system and that's totally normal too. Big hugs 💕

@LuckyMoonstone great news! It's such a relief when it you finally get that static face!!

@Sassy144 I'll cheers to that 🥂 I need to have a proper look into maca - completely agree that if it makes you feel like your trying something then it's worth a go! Are you taking anything else?

@calimc83 hmmm I'm not sure. Last cycle I thought maybe but this cycle they seemed to be the same? I'm going to test on the day of my last period to see if I get lines. I'll report back 🤓 I'm 37 so I get a bit jittery in case my age is a problem. DH thinks I'm positively mental worrying about it (keeps saying I'm young - bless him 😂) but I will throw anything at it at this stage! How did you actually find your hypnotherapy person?

Sassy144 · 12/04/2022 07:00

@bunnykins123 I just need to find a way to get hubby to try it too now 😂 I'm taking pregnacare conception vitamins too but that's it. You?

calimc83 · 12/04/2022 07:02

@bunnykins123 ohhh you're younger than me! I feel positively geriatric 😂 I think I just googled hypnotherapists near me? On her website it listed issues that she deals with ( so fertility/anxiety/grief) all stood out to me. I think there's also a list of hypnotherapists online that are approved by various bodies? Xx

LuckyMoonstone · 12/04/2022 19:39

How is everyone?
I did an OPK this morning and it was so exciting to see that dark line 😂 I have never had a proper positive before, even though I’ve been pregnant 3 times. I always test too early or just give up, or not bother at all.
Feel like O happened today as I’ve had cramps earlier. Gonna get one last round in tonight (might be a cup and syringe job as DH is knackered 😆)

bunnykins123 · 13/04/2022 09:15

@Sassy144 I take so much I rattle! Ubiqunol, folate and multi vitamins. I did take aspirin the last few cycles but AF was literally horrific (it's a blood thinner 😬) so I'm a bit unsure about taking that again this cycle. I also have pomegranate juice, red raspberry leaf tea and have started bone broth (yuck)

@calimc83 I'm working from home today so can spend a bit of time today! I defo need to feel a bit more zen and chilled. Have you decided if you'll have an early scan? Xx

@LuckyMoonstone all good over here! Ah it's always SO good to finally see that peak line. Fingers crossed the syringe works this month for you 🤞
