Is anyone using the ovusense? I have irregular periods and have been ttc for over a year! I have just purchased the ovusense but not sure what to expect! I am wondering if there are any other users?

@MO22 glad it went well! Will you have to pay privately again for the additional procedures?
sorry to hear that! I’m sure it won’t be, but there’s always that risk isn’t it! Ahh I really hope you had the one lucky one! Sending you the best of luck! It would be soo good if this one is it, meaning you won’t have to have the procedures!

@Peonies94 the consultant was so lovely, I only got it covered on my insurance because I went in as period problems (irregular bleeding in one month) rather than fertility (even though it's an assisted conception unit) and he said I should keep focusing on that part and that as it's part of the diagnostic tests to work out what's wrong they should cover it. He said he'd write a letter to them if it helped!

I asked how much it was privately and he said £3-4k (!!!!) And I said could I do it on NHS and he said the waiting times are an absolute disaster.

So I'm going to call my provider tomorrow and see if they cover it 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼

He did bloods and ultrasound too, so hopefully we will at least know if I ovulated (although I'm about 6/7 days away from period if it's normal, so we shall see!)

Peonies94 · 17/05/2022 20:52

@MO22 sounds good! That’s what puts me off I don’t have insurance but I’ve been in touch about tests and given prices which are fine; but it’s being told I need further procedures and huge prices which I couldn’t afford! I’m not sure If I would rather not know 🤦🏻‍♀️!

@MO22 good luck! I hope it’s covered for you!!!

Officially week 2 of the TWW tomorrow! So pleased I’m about to go to bed ready for 5am alarm! Just 3 ish more days of ovusense this cycle and then hopefully I’ll have a clearer picture of what’s going on!!

@MO22 great to hear about test, fingers crossed for tomorrow. X

Loz365 · 17/05/2022 22:12

@Peonies94 I'll admit I googled 4dpo symptoms the other day... even though I had zero symptoms and it was almost certainly too early for implantation to have taken place 🙃
Dreading the day I actually get any symptoms, spending the whole time trying to work out if it's af or pregnancy! At least we're another day down ladies!

@MO22 really pleased you found the appointment useful, totally understandable that you're a bit anxious about the concerns about the thickness but hopefully the other tests will all be fine (and secretly hoping you get a bfp!)
I'd love to use private healthcare but I don't have insurance and definitely don't have the money to pay for anything. Fingers crossed they'll cover the cost for you! X

MO22 · 17/05/2022 22:18

@Loz365 thanks so much - I know I'm really lucky to have it through work as I Def wouldn't be able to afford it otherwise!

Also been there googling 3 DPO symptoms, I feel you! I had a twinge earlier and was IMPLANTATION... Even though like 5 percent actually implant on 6 DPO.
At least we are a week down tomorrow...!

MO22 · 17/05/2022 22:18

@RMS0209 thank you, hope you are heading towards peak soon!

Peonies94 · 18/05/2022 06:26

@Loz365 i know, I’ve been feeling sick thinking it must be something, nothing to do with the fact I’m on edge trying to get through this week!

another day down though ladies @Loz365 @MO22

@RMS0209 another day closer to ovulation!

What is wrong with me? Why am I testing at 8DPO? I’ve never done so early before! I think im getting more crazy as the ttc journey continues on..! I did two thought I saw a line, surely it’s an indent so early on? I then used one on water to compare! 🤦🏻‍♀️I now need to stop myself from using all other 17 tests when I get home from work! Why do I do this to myself!

charts not moving either! No implantation dip or ride, so surely I can’t be pregnant!😌

Morning all!

7DPO - attached my chart for anyone that's interested!

@Peonies94 your chart looks so good, really steady temps. Mine are all over the place!! Did you take pics of the tests? Still very early like you said so don't be too disheartened. Remember the website you shared! The chances of a positive on 8dpo are low! X

Peonies94 · 18/05/2022 08:00

@Loz365 yes I have pics! I’ve done a frer now too! I’ll attach pics! I know, wish I’d take my own advice! I’ve seen lots of bfp come from all sorts of charts, im not sure it means anything!

OP posts:
Peonies94 · 18/05/2022 08:02

The tests three together one is water, can you see lines on the other two? I’m sure I’m imagining it all and all indents!!

Peonies94 · 18/05/2022 08:07

sorry these are the photos! I couldn’t upload the more clear ones as it said they’re too big! @Loz365

@Peonies94 I see a line on 2 of the 3 cheapies! Middle and left!
I can also see a vvv faint line on the frer but could be an indent. My line eyes aren't as well trained as some of the ladies on here!
But I'd definitely be testing again in a couple of days! X

MO22 · 18/05/2022 08:39

Morning all!

@Peonies94 I am absolutely useless with line eyes, I can never see anything unless it's like 18 DPO, the first time I was pregnant I didn't see anything and my sister was like, er that's a positive test you fool.

Like @Loz365 8 DPO is soooo early - even if you implanted at 6 (which is very rare) it would be so faint at this point - I'd try again at 10/11DPO... As 8/9 are most common days to implant. Having said that, if you have IC, I say go nuts tomorrow and day after, as long as you don't make yourself feel awful!

My chart is weeeeeird, most likely because my body is weird 😣 seem to have done a small dip (frantically googling implantation dip lol) but I'm sure it means nothing. Never mind. Temp is all over the place too @loz365what do you think it means?!

How are you @RMS0209 and your chart?

MO22 · 18/05/2022 08:39

Oops forgot my chart

MO22 · 18/05/2022 08:40

Having said that @Peonies94 I actually think I can see the difference between the water one and the other two!

Moosh18 · 18/05/2022 08:59

@Peonies94 omg I can 💯 see a line!!!!!

Moosh18 · 18/05/2022 09:03

@Peonies94 my test was positive at 8dpo very very faint but it was like yours x

theblueflowers · 18/05/2022 09:04

@Peonies94 I can definitely see a line!

theblueflowers · 18/05/2022 09:04

I've also had a positive on 8dpo, so it is definitely possible.

MO22 · 18/05/2022 09:34

Consultant just called me and said I Def ovulated! I feel over the moon lol, also so weird to ovulate like CD8 but hey ho.

Now just praying the one and done did the job, but even if it doesn't, there's eggs in the old girl yet!
