Is anyone using the ovusense? I have irregular periods and have been ttc for over a year! I have just purchased the ovusense but not sure what to expect! I am wondering if there are any other users?

@Peonies94 as silly as it sounds I'm so happy to hear somebody else say this/feel this... I thought it was just me. It's consuming my whole life 😢 x

@RMS0209 so true! I wish I could know when it was going to happen, regardless of how long that may be! I may be able to focus on other things and enjoy those things in life!

@RMS0209 no nothing different, just tried to cover as much as we could and think I achieved that! Just hoping it worked!😢 I was also taking the vitamins in hope to increase LP so we shall see! I just feel like in 5 days time or whatever, I’ll be back out of this bubble and waiting for af to disappear again!😢 I just want this working week to be done with!

No not trying anything different, feeling really unmotivated this cycle just going to start every 2 days (should have last night but feeling a bit unwell) x

@RMS0209 @Peonies94 catching up! I am completely where you guys are. 16 months (but 8 of those was not obsessing, not tracking and I obviously got pregnant). Then since the MC I am so crazy about it, I can't stop googling and obsessing as if I'll be able to understand what's actually going on with my womb lol.

I've got my private consultation tomorrow and I'm worried he's just gonna tell me what I already know for £200... Feeling so nervous about it.

And also fantasising that this cycle will be successful (even tho I did it once on peak lol)...

Why is it so hard 😣

@MO22 its so hard isn’t it! I had what I think was a chemical 7 months into ttc, and I’ve been crazy since then!
aww good luck with private consultation! I’ve been considering seeing someone! I suppose it only takes one out of ‘one go’ so doesn’t really matter how many times I suppose!

so I ordered 20 IC pregnancy tests earlier to keep my frer for confirmation of when I do ever get a line! I reckon they’ll last me 3 cycles! 🤣that’s like 7 each cycle! 🤦🏻‍♀️

@Peonies94 that's the final frontier for me... Cheapies HCG tests. I've never bought them but I know the min they're in the house I'd be peeing on them every bloody day.

I must stay strong and not early test! I'm not even 7 DPO yet anyway, so silly...

@MO22 thats my issue! My dh has hidden them high up where I can’t really reach (on top of high wardrobe) I could climb but it’s more inconvenient! I did take 2 and hide them though, only fooling myself!🤦🏻‍♀️ I can’t do them until at-least Friday though! I must stick to that!

I am totally with you all on how obsessive it all becomes, especially all the Googling! I KNOW it's not helpful, as if a random stranger's experience could have any impact on my own situation, but I just can't stop! I also can't do the whole 'relax' thing because with 75 day cycles that's a lot of sex that we do not have energy for!
@MO22 good luck for tomorrow. I did the same thing last week, and it was actually just great to talk to someone who took such a proactive approach to it; it made me feel like I was taking back a bit of control, despite the fact that it's quite money motivated! I figured that I'm just pissing on money at the moment with all the tests I take, so might as well do something more useful 😂

I was 2dpo when I went to the appointment and my consultant showed me where I'd ovulated in insane detail, it was really interesting!

@theblueflowers i totally agree on the long cycles! Having had 2 28 day cycles it’s been so nice to only have sex about 8 times each time! Previously it was 4 times a week over 8 weeks and it was torture!

ahh see my DH use to be a fertility doctor and when he sent for my DH sperm analysis he wanted us to come in and look at me, but I couldn’t as I’m not linked to that surgery! My gp on the other hand has had no interest! That sounds interesting though! I’d be interested in doing that! Also - did your ovusense link to the day fertility person said you ovulated?

@theblueflowers so interesting, I was wondering if they could see id ovulated? I'll be 7 DPO so maybe not? Also did your consultation include an ultrasound? I don't think mine does, so I wonder if he'll do one there and then or not? I also will be roughly 7 days (well more like 6) away from my period if it's not playing silly buggers this month so would they do the progesterone blood test tomorrow if I asked just to see if I ovulated?

I have no idea what to expect, but at least Ive paid for someone to listen to me for half an hour lol

@MO22 just reading your thread... I got told to book my progesterone test 7 days before AF is due so you should be able to have ovulation confirmed x

@Peonies94 yeah it did! He showed me the corpus lutem of where the egg came from, and he was actually impressed by Ovusense, although he had never actually heard of it!

@MO22 there was no mention of an ultrasound in my appointment letter, but he asked me where I was in my cycle and said that because of that we'd be able to see something. To be honest I wasn't expecting it and it caught me a bit off guard! I've had the unfortunate experience of quite a few internal ultrasounds though so I knew what to expect. I wonder if it's because I said I wanted to have my PCOS confirmed as well. Apparently 12 or more cysts on an ovary points to PCOS, and I had about 20 😳

yeah I’ve been thinking to book progesterone tests now thst ovusense is saying I’ve ovulated, I think I’d just like it confirmed!

@Peonies94 yes get it booked! As soon as I've had ovulation confirmed I'm booking mine too... it will put our minds at ease too I guess x

@theblueflowers ah gotcha, that makes sense if you can see something, i am no expert but I imagine the egg has buggered off down the fallopian tube at 7 DPO or died if not fertilised? I'll ask for progesterone like @RMS0209 suggests.

I've sadly also had a lot of internal ultrasounds, had PCOS diagnosed in both aus and UK (UK wouldnt take my word for it lol and had to rediagnose) and then early scan, post MC scan... Always someone up there it feels like.

I'm just so worried about mid cycle bleeding which is why I made the appt, I want to make sure there isn't anything more sinister going on, and then maybe get drugs to make me ovulate.

Will see how it goes and report back!

@theblueflowers welcome! 👋🏼 this is my first cycle using OvuSense and monitoring bbt so very much learning as I go. Your chart looks really good. So sorry to hear about your miscarriages. I've also got PCOS and TTC #1, 16 months trying, I'm under NHS infertility clinic and will be starting letrozole next month if no success on this cycle. Also joining you with the multiple internal ultrasounds and 20 cysts on my ovaries 🙃

@Peonies94 @RMS0209 the 2nd week of the TWW is torture! Every day is so so slow. At least we have a group of us to help each other through it 😂 and I told myself not to Google things, on 3dpo googling symptoms. It's all I think about, switching between thinking I'm definitely going to get pregnant this month to think it will never happen and researching the cost of private IVF for when my NHS IVF doesn't work. It's exhausting...
