Is anyone using the ovusense? I have irregular periods and have been ttc for over a year! I have just purchased the ovusense but not sure what to expect! I am wondering if there are any other users?

I agree - fingers crossed you have another high. Nothing worse than DTD becoming a chore.. that's how I felt last cycle, took the fun out of it :(

@RMS0209 good luck! I know, it’s the worse when it’s just such a chore! So another high temp so it’s no more! I had a temp drop but was expected after the alcohol the day before! It’s continued to go up Though!

@MO22 how’s your chart looking? How are you?

@Peonies94 yay! Finally! I've also had my ovulation date confirmed 🥳 1 day after you but at least we can go through the wait together 😄 4dpo and counting...
I had some alcohol last night so I think that's what's caused such a rise in my temp!!

@RMS0209 woop! Doesn't it feel like a lifetime waiting for af to stop so you can start a new cycle 😅

@Loz365 yayy! We can officially do the TWW together! I hate waiting for confirmation but also it’s great when your already 4 days in isn’t it? I’m trying to be chill this month! Usually between 5-9 DPO I go a little crazy! I’m trying to be realistic though! It’ll be interesting tomorrow to see if it’ll drop back down slightly or if alcohol has no effect for you! I hear mixed things, but it definitely causes mine to rise!

@Peonies94 yea, even though I was pretty sure of my ovulation date it's nice that it wastes a few days while waiting for it to confirm!
I feel alright at the moment, but I'm on holiday so always more relaxing 😆 I reckon when I get back on Tuesday I'll have to find loads of things to distract myself from symptom spotting/testing!
I've had alcohol earlier in my cycle and it didn't have any effect so it'll be interesting to see what happens tomorrow. It's a pretty big rise though so I'm expecting it to fall a bit

@Loz365 every time I’ve had alcohol it’s caused a raise but it’s also always been in TWW! Ahh yes some distraction for you for a few days! Enjoy your hols! Yeah I always seem to be crazy until 9DPO and then usually have spotting! I’m going to try and stay calm it’ll be nice to have some company though!

So I also got ovulation confirmed! Snap @Loz365 we are ovulation buddies and all going through TWW together with @Peonies94. I'm a bit skeptical that I actually ovulated but I guess trust the data? As it was so early I only managed to DTD on the actual day of ovulation so I don't have high hopes for this month (and not sure the egg is mature enough at CD9!!) but at least I ovulated I guess!

I drank alcohol (don't judge me it's been a stressful week!) Thurs/Fri/sat and my temps have been high and low so... Guess it doesn't affect it as much as normal wearables?

Also... It looks like I ovulate very close to LH surge which I always thought was the case but could never prove until now! Last time I got pregnant it was DTD once two days before ovulation and I had my suspicions that I ovulated quickly so good info to be armed with for next cycle I guess!

@RMS0209 I absolutely will be doing just that!

@Loz365 did you do well covering the 5 days before ovulation? I think this was one of my best months. I did ovulation day, the day before, 2 days before and 4 days before! I just missed the 3 days before! I also did say after ovulation just incase!

@MO22 yes the ovusense Is good for identifying things like that! Mines taught me that I ovulate like 2-3 days after my surge

@Peonies94 that's interesting about alcohol affecting your temp in the TWW. When I had some earlier in my cycle it was before I ovulated so maybe it doesn't have such a big impact then...?

That's amazing coverage of your fertile window!! We DTD 1 day before, 2 days before, and 5 days before. And also 1DPO just in case! So not perfect and missed day of ovulation but we'll see what happens. Hopefully it was enough...

@Loz365 @Peonies94 sounds like you guys did a great job of covering the window, well done!

I'm not an early tester, have been stung before and find the BFN harder than AF turning up, so will wait and see. My LP is usually around 12/13 days, but my body has been INSANE these last two months (two bleeds in 4 weeks, no ovulation, and now early ovulation ha) so who the hell knows what this luteal phase will bring! 😂

How long are your guys LP? When will you test?

@Loz365 yes that could be the case! Well I think the days before wfter actually better than ovulation day! Sounds like you have yourself covered!

my LP has been only 10 days recently but lots of spotting the day before, more then spotting less than af and I always half convince myself it’s IB so going to not do that this month! I usually test 9DPO and 10DPO and then full af arrives then!

@Loz365 @MO22 my plan is to test Friday I think! I’m going to try and hold out until then! Obviously if spotting is as usual I’ll probably be out before then! Let’s see what happens!

@MO22 oh yay 3 of you in the TWW... feel like the odd one out since that's me just using my Ovu for this cycle now.
Wow you ovulated early - how long are your cycles normally? I'm with you with the early testing, makes me sad so now I just wait for AF.. find it a little easier

I'm starting DTD tonight! CD10, doing a remix of SMEP 😂 starting tonight and every 2nd day until I get a peak then do my 3 days... so definitely hoping I peak before CD23 this month 🥵 how are you this cycle? Feeling good? Hopefully the TWW flies by for you all!

@RMS0209 my cycles are usually 35 days with PCOS! But every since I started taking thyroid medication they've gone completely haywire... The earliest I ever ovulate before this cycle was CD17 (and that resulted in MC) so I'm going to doctor on Tues to work out what is going on. I was going to ask for Clomid or similar but if I've ovulated as ovusense says, might need to think about what my options are....

Don't worry about being odd one out, we'll all be very invested in your chart given ours will be boring for the TWW!

Speaking of, should my temp just remain high now until AF?

@MO22 @Peonies94 I'm going to try and hold out until Saturday to test if I haven't got any of my usual PMS symptoms, that'll be 10dpo.
My LP seems to vary every month, hoping it'll be 10/11 days as a minimum 🤞
And yep I think your temp is meant to stay high until af, or it may remain raised if you're pregnant

I think you should still speak to them see what they offer... hopefully something good to help! I'd book your progesterone test too that will put your mind at ease.

@Loz365 thank you! I am really hoping it's not as long too, just taking folic acid this cycle so we will see. I wish I could do the grapefruit juice to help with EWCM but I just can't 😷 x

@RMS0209 yeah I'll see what they suggest, I was going to buy a progesterone blood test but I figure they'll do one for me? It's private so I imagine it will be thousands of pounds but my insurance with work said they'd covered the consultation and diagnostic tests so that should cover bloods. I've got NHS GP chat the following week (that I booked in months ago l!) but I think I'll keep it in anyway- I'm 35 in a few weeks and it will be 6 months post MC then as well, so hopefully they'll refer me? Have no clue how it all works but I imagine I'll get familiar!

I'm almost a bit disbelieving that I've ovulated but I think ouvsense says it's like 96percent accurate...

@Loz365 I will def get itchy to POAS on Saturday if you do! Luckily have no tests in the house and I'll make sure I don't get any! Anyone got an symptoms? I know now it's all just progesterone and way too early but it doesnt stop me noticing every twinge lol

@RMS0209 ill keep temping for the next 3 days and see what happens! If my temps start to drop I’ll probably stop temping as I started spotting early on last time!
