Is anyone using the ovusense? I have irregular periods and have been ttc for over a year! I have just purchased the ovusense but not sure what to expect! I am wondering if there are any other users?

@Loz365 @MO22 rhsts what’s confusing me! I had a prediction there and the fertile period has disappeared now! So not sure what’s going on! We should see a raise over a few days I think and it kind of levels out then!

@MO22 i usually do every other day for a few days until it confirms! Yours maybe won’t confirm as you haven’t got many days before hand!

@Peonies94 thanks! Oh god I hope it does confirm... I just want some good news! Do you think your fertile window disappeared because of your temps and it's recalculating? How many cycles have you had on it so far?

@MO22 this I’d ny third cycle using but I started too late in 1st one, a few days after ovulation! Typical!! So this this the second proper cycle!

So I’ve drunk too much alcohol tonight! Whoops! Always say I won’t In TWW! That’s going to ruin my temps! Only had cocktails with work friends and 2 glasses of wine but 4 drinks is probably going to make temp shoot up!!

So my ovulation has been confirmed! However I did see a massive spike from those few drinks yesterday! I rarely drink but in the last 2 months I’ve had plans in the TWW and have ended up drinking! 🤦🏻‍♀️ I’ll attach a photo of my chart! I know someone asked about how many days it takes to confirm ovulation so it’s been 3 and 4 days for me depending how big the rise was!

@Peonies94 yaaaaay this is amazing news! I think I said but alcohol never really effected me... but I'm sure ovusense wouldn't confirm based on one night either! I can't believe you've had such regular ovulation last two months! Is that the same CD X

@Moosh18 that’s funny, alcohol made mine shoot up the two times last time too, but drop straight back the next day! I suppose if your just taking temp in the morning it’s a while after alcohol where as ovusense Is all night and straight after is drunk? Not sure if that’ll make a difference?

yes!! Like how? I haven’t had normal cycles since my periods started at 14!!!

@Moosh18 I’m so happy about the regular ovulation! But hoping I don’t get the 9day LP again! this is last month, the big rise was an all day big drinking event kind of thing, so this one hasn’t seen so much of a rise! 0.4 it shot up bit dropped right back down next day, this will probably be the same! ….

@Peonies94 have you been doing something diff the last two months??? Yeah that's a good point it is all night rather then in morning! The earliest I've ever had ovulation is cD17 once and CD19 once everything else has been in 20s and some 30s

I'm okay.... really nervous about scan tomorrow, still getting a tiny bit of spotting but only brown, I've been feeling a bit sick so hoping it's good xx

Not much to report here, CD9.. will start using Ovusense tonight was giving myself an extra day of calm before the madness started 😂 x

@Peonies94 yay for the confirmation date! I do use fertility friend and I've got a cover line on there now but no date confirmed on OvuSense yet. Hopefully that will come tomorrow!

@MO22 thanks! I would keep DTD if you can't nothing worse than missing the important dates. How's your chart looking today?

@Peonies94 that's amazing, well done! Ovulation confirmed BOOM.
I had a few drinks last night also, no confirmation here but still remaining high and no sign of any further LH surge but I'm still only CD11 so will just try and DTD every 2 days until it confirms it.

I guess if temp stays high tho I can be reassured that I've ovulated do you reckon? Worried alcohol might be skewing it too, god it's never easy is it!

@Moosh18 when is your scan, tomorrow? Have everything crossed for you, how far gone are you at the moment, will you be able to hear a heartbeat? X

@Moosh18 the vitamins I have been taking! Cd22 and 32 are the earliest I’ve every had, everything else cd 40/50 !! So to have ro cd14 is really good! Just hope it’s definitely ovulation! I just have something telling me it’s not! I guess maybe hard to believe given the circumstances!

@Loz365 yours is looking really good! I think if yours stays up you’ll get confirmation in a day or two!! How long is your LP? Mine was only 9 days last month and think it’s usually only 9/10 days so I’m a little concerned about that ruining any chances! Will you be testing or waiting until af?

@MO22 i don’t blame you! I have been torn about whether to continue DTD every other day or not! I still kind of feel like I don’t trust it and I’m a big disappointed about the alcohol having such an affect and maybe impacting the confirmation!

As you ovulated so soon, it may be tricky to confirm it for you unfortunately! I hope that’s not the case for you but the green line should form a kind of straight line and then go up, but not sure you’ll get that! You can chat to support though who can sometimes help! Really hope you get a confirmation though!
jow long is your LP? Will you be testing or waiting for af?

I’ll probably have af by next Saturday, but if I don’t I’ll be testing then!

@MO22 it's at 3:30 I'm 6+2 so hoping too! My sister did with my niece at this point, we will do another next week if we can't 😩

@Peonies94 have you been taking anything for LP? I think it was b6 wasn't it? Also have you tried EPO? Xxx

@Peonies94 yeah I think you're probably right, just not enough data. I think I'll DTD every other day until when I usually ovulate (around CD20) and then go from there, and just hope it stays high as well! Will keep with the OPKs as well as surely if I I see LH surge again it would mean I haven't ovulated yet.

I won't early test, I was devastated doing that in Jan post MC so will always wait til day after AF. I have a LP of aroun 12/13 days so will see how I go! What about you? Also what vitamins are you taking 👀

@MO22 that’s fair enough! I usually like testing as find af a much harsher way of breaking the news!!
I take vitamin b, d and myo that’s all! Oh folic too which id been raking anyways!

@Peonies94 so my LP seems to vary, some months it's been 8/9 days, last month it was 14. Really hoping it's 14 this month!!
I'm going to try and wait until 12dpo to test unless af arrives before that. I get some pms symptoms a few days before my period so I'll se what happens I think. What about you?

@Loz365 me too! Just hope mine is like 11 days plus! I’ll probably have af at 9-10 days so if not I’ll test after that I think!

@Peonies94 I got my first positive at 9dpo, so even if you had a short LP don't give up! I must of implanted at 7 x

So ladies I’ve decided.. if my temp stays elevated again in the morning (I am expecting it to drop from today due to the alcohol yesterday) but if it stays as high as Friday or slightly higher, I think I’ll stop with the scheduled DTD! It’s getting exhausting and I usually have such long cycles that it goes on for so long, so think I’ll make the most of knowing I can have a break and enjoying the week before af as well as af week off! As usually we just keep to every other day right up until af! I think if they stay up I won’t be missing any chances if you know what I mean!

@RMS0209 I’m okay! Just hoping my temps stay elevated so that I can have a break from it all and try and relax during TWW!!
