Is anyone using the ovusense? I have irregular periods and have been ttc for over a year! I have just purchased the ovusense but not sure what to expect! I am wondering if there are any other users?

@RMS0209 ahh that’s good! Yes my ovusense has predicted an ovulation window for me so far, but in the last 16 months ttc I’ve never had 2 cycles the same! I have however started taking some vitamins so who knows! What CD are you at the moment?

What vitamins are you taking?
CD3 today... last 2 days have flew by! AF normally stays until CD6/CD7

I am thinking of dropping all my vitamins and just trying 1 cycle with folic acid and drop the iron/vitamin D/vitamin b12 to see if they does anything to my ovulation what do you think!? X

@RMS0209 myo, b, d, and then folic! It’s up to you, were they more normal before you started taking them? I’ve personally seen an improvement but could be coincidence! It’s just a guessing game I feel!! No idea what is actually working/‘not working at the moment!

I did a cheapie and this was the outcome! Tempted to just ditch the OPKs and just keep DTD regularly though!

@RMS0209 I'm CD 5, hoping to use ovusense tonight 🤞🏼 I could do with some good tracking and at least a cycle where I ovulate! Not sure re anything new, I'm pretty low and fed up to be honest. Just want to at least confirm ovulation this month.

@Moosh18 did you really? I have had a cycle a week shorter than usual and then two weeks later another bleed, it's been horrible. Hoping that this is the end of it.

@Cous3003 so helpful thank you. I was on metaformin but came off it when I was pregnant at advice of doctor and haven't gone back on. Might try and see private gynae and see what they think, just worried about diagnostic stuff adding up, but tbf I already know I have PCOS so surely they could just recommend ovulation drugs straight away?

@Moosh18 it looks like I might have! I’m not getting too excited as I’ve had peaks around this time thst have been false, but I thought last month was going to be false and it wasn’t, so I’m crossing my fingers🤞! How are you feeling?

I'm okay thanks... not much happening at min! Just waiting to scan still have another two weeks x

@Moosh18 ahh looking good so far and hope it stays that way for you! Urm my temps are just kinda floating around the same temp, little fluctuations! Keep us posted on scans!

i would be so happy! Would help the planning for DTD so much easier! I also worry about my LP, as was spotting after 9DPO last time!

@Peonies94 nope, no signs of peak on OPKs yet and this is my chart so far... I think Covid has messed up the last few days so almost certain that ovulation window is wrong!

Your chart is looking good, nice stable temps. Fingers crossed for another cd14/15 ovulation day for you!!

@Loz365 covid has caused issues for many peoples cycles I’ve heard! Hopefully you’ll see ovulation soon 🤞! Thank you!

I've had some pinkish brown water cm since last night so I'm terrified x

@Moosh18 oh no! Try not to panic! I've read lots of women get pink/brown discharge in early pregnancy and everything has been okay. Have you got any other symptoms? Sending you lots of hugs 💕

I've finally had a decent night's sleep and OPKs are starting to rise, 0.51 on premom app having been no high than 0.25 for dayyssss. Had another did in temp so possibly ovulation dip? Going to do another OPK later this morning and probably this afternoon. Forever just peeing on sticks 😂

How are you all doing?
Not much for me to report.. CD4, AF should leave around CD6.
No idea of this months game plan, just away to read and catch up on messages

Nothing much to report here either - temp seems to be fairly consistent (chart attached) and the ovulation date seems to be holding...

@MO22 I think you're right, as you've been diagnosed hopefully they'll give you a prescription straight away. Fingers crossed for your GP appointment too

Actually can I ask a really stupid question! My understanding is that the right and left ovaries effectively take turns to release an egg. If that's right, is it possible for one ovary to be more severely impacted by PCOS than the other - so you could have one relatively normal cycle and one long one on an alternating basis? Sorry if that sounds daft! Just trying to understand the variation between cycles! 😂 x

@Cous3003 your temps look good but I wonder if your ovulation date is wrong on your chart. I thought ovulation happened prior to the temperature rise so I would have thought you ovulated on the 1st/2nd May? I'm no expert though so I could be misunderstanding!

In terms of ovulation, I don't think it follows a strict pattern of alternating between the ovaries each month. And from what I was told, it's the hormone imbalance that causes irregular periods and fertility issues in PCOS rather than the polycystic ovary itself. I think lots of women can have polycystic ovaries without having PCOS and the issues associated with it. Does that make any sense?! I feel like I may have rambled 😂

I think I may have a high/peak OPK, what do you think??
Premom is reading it as 1.14 - obviously need another test tomorrow to confirm but I think that first line is as dark as the second...

@Loz365 looks like a peak to me, exciting! And I agree completely re my ovulation date - think ovusense might be a couple of days off. Thanks for clarifying the other thing too x

@Loz365 looks good to me! Ahh would be amazing if we could be ovulation buddies! I haven’t had a peak on IC yet, but I’ve decided I’m not testing anymore now and just going to watch out for temps! I’m hoping if my CB static was correct I’ll ovulate in two days!🤞
