@Skl2021 150mg is now the nhs recommended dose. I think it used to be 75mg. I'm taking 150mg now and have 0 side affects. Did they advise why you need to start taking now?

@Cruz86 yay that's such good news! So happy for you!!!!

@theblueflowers I'm so sorry to see you're spotting. I'm not sure if you've been reading the threads recently but there have been a few cases of spotting that have all had a positive outcome. Hopefully that will be the same for you 🤞🤞

arianasky · 07/03/2022 16:54

@Skl2021 I took 75mg from O day last month and still miscarried and I'm taking 150mg from O day this month hoping it will help 🙏🏻 it helps with blood clotting which can be a factor of MC and it also helps blood pressure so that's probably why they put you on it if yours was high during the last pregnancy

LittleMrsMama · 07/03/2022 17:04

@theblueflowers I'm so sorry to hear. Hope that it is just spotting and all is ok! Must be so worrying :(

Cindy974 · 07/03/2022 17:12

@Skl2021 glad to see youre doing well lovely 💕 So last night I was still bleeding and still had a couple of pea sized clots, today I havent bled enough to soak a pad but still have red discharge sorry if its TMI. I definitely haven’t miscarried as I wasnt as far along with my last MC and I know what to look for and the pain etc but feel like its inevitable at this point and its probably just slow starting 😰

@Bridgey8 I took your advice and said if they have any cancellations to let me know x

Thank you everyone for the support, although I feel hopeless its nice to have the support from you all 💕💕

aesgriff · 07/03/2022 17:38

@Skl2021 glad you’ve had the rest of your booking appointment. Interesting reading about the aspirin! How you feeling? I’ve felt great today.. worryingly great… 😬 xx

@Cruz86 @Bridgey8 wooo scan friends!! Already feeling nervous. Did debate booking me this week but thought weekly scans may be a bit OTT 🤔 xx

@HoneyLemon29 hope your scan doesn’t fall on your birthday xx

@theblueflowers there’s been several of us on the thread who have had bleeds and touch wood we’ve all be ok so far. It’s so so so scary isn’t it xx

aesgriff · 07/03/2022 17:40

@SLee21 I’m so sorry for your loss xx I haven’t had what you are experiencing in the sense of dark bleeding but it might be a sign of your period coming? Xx

aesgriff · 07/03/2022 17:40

@Cindy974 ♥️♥️ Sending big hugs xx

SLee21 · 07/03/2022 17:45

@aesgriff that’s what I assumed but I guess I was expecting it to come later as I only stopped bleeding two weeks ago! And haven’t detected any ovulation (possible that I ovulated whilst still bleeding or didn’t ovulate at all this cycle). Who knows! The body seems to do some weird things after a miscarriage 🤷🏻‍♀️ xx

mrsmw132 · 07/03/2022 17:47

Still negative here. Am having a really stressful time at work- to the point I was crying during my lunch break.
This isn't like me, but I think the first round of treatment after my miscarriage is underlying on my stress levels.
So much.
Thank you for keeping me sane.

Ganesh2022 · 07/03/2022 18:08

@Cruz86 I'm so glad to hear your scan went well!
@theblueflowers ugh, that is upsetting. I am crossing my fingers it goes in the direction of several of the bleeds/spotting on this thread and that all will be ok! I think it's very common to spot/bleed in early pregnancy, but that doesn't make it any less scary.
@Cindy974 thinking of you and keeping fingers crossed that all is ok.

briochebabe · 07/03/2022 18:50

Hi everyone. Can I please join this thread? On cycle 10 of TTC #2 and had a very early miscarriage in January. Currently 5dpo and trying to compare my symptoms to January Confused

Skl2021 · 07/03/2022 19:26

@mrshodgy21 sorry you had to go through all that I bet that was so scary. 💕 Xx

@peachiekeen I never knew it was used for that either! X

Thank you all so much. It's such a scary time, and not being able to talk about it in person to anyone just builds up the worry. I can't tell you how comforting your words are.

Really hoping I am just following in the footsteps of others on this thread and it's just 'one of those things'.

I know it's too early for a scan, but I felt I had to do something, so rang my GP and they were so lovely. I have an appointment with them tomorrow afternoon. I'm not sure how easy it is to get progesterone, but I guess I do now qualify under the NICE guidelines so it may be worth a conversation.

briochebabe · 07/03/2022 19:35

@theblueflowers not very helpful at all but fingers crossed its nothing serious. I had spotting that turned into bleeding with a few small clots at the beginning of my first pregnancy, EPU told me it was normal every time I went but it didn't make it less scary. My son is going to be 4 this year. I'm sending you loads of love and warm hugs xx

Skl2021 · 07/03/2022 19:40

@theblueflowers I'm sorry your spotting it's such a worrying time. Try and stay positive it doesn't always mean bad news. I hope you can get seen soon were all here for support 💕 xx

@SLee21 welcome 💐 sorry for your loss. Xx

@bunnykins123 Im only 9 weeks so don't need to take it yet. It's because I was induced last pregnancy due to high blood pressure xx

@arianasky yes I was wondering why some people took it earlier! I never knew that it's worth a shot then 🤞 xx

@Cindy974 my heart breaks for you I can tell by the way your writing you sound broken 😩 try and stay positive it doesn't always mean bad news and it good that you have no pains. I'm praying epu can get you in earlier. Were all here for you with support 💕 stay strong XXX

@aesgriff IV had a shitty day today felt sick all day and tired 🤦hardly done anything. glad you had a better day 🙌😁 p.s don't worry 🙊 xx

@mrsmw132 sorry your having a rough day. Sending a hug 🤗 xx

Last night I read something that really gave me comfort. Warning: this did make me cry but in a good way.

Apparently, when we have had a miscarriage, the cells from our baby stay with us and become part of us. It's called microchimerism and the cells become 'beating heart cells'. So our babies are literally in our hearts with us ❤️

I read it on mother_pukka Instagram page if you want to have a look yourselves.

I wanted to share in case in comforted anyone in the way it comforted me x

Ganesh2022 · 07/03/2022 20:11

@theblueflowers it's so hard to act "normal" when you're going out of your mind with worry isn't it.... I've ended up telling so many more people than I've wanted to what's going on, and today feeling pretty conflicted about it. I find it very hard to keep a lid on it and then feel like I've overshared. So grateful for this group.

Loving thoughts to anyone who's having a hard (understatement sometimes) day. I've cried to my husband all day and he has no idea what to do with me or with himself.

Cruz86 · 07/03/2022 20:11

Thank you @Prayingformyrainbow93. Now time for you to try and enjoy these early stages of pregnancy! ☺️ How are you feeling?

Haha you never know @arianasky! Not too much longer for you to wait now 🤞🏻

Oh I see @mrshodgy21. I'm glad they've been seeing you early. How are you feeling about the scan?

I'm so sorry to hear about your spotting @theblueflowers. Anything like that is so worrying at this stage. What's the process like where you are to get a referral to epu for an early scan? I hope it's just one of those things and doesn't progress into anything more. Thinking of you.

Thank you @bunnykins123 ☺️ How are you doing?

I think, given what we've been through, weekly scans isn't too ott @aesgriff. Just a lot of money 😂

Big hugs @Cindy974, I really hope it won't progress into more.

@mrshodgy21 sorry you're getting negatives. What tests are you using?

Thank you @Ganesh2022. How are you today?

@Skl2021 ive been exactly the same as you today. Couldn't keep my eyes open and had to have a little nap 😴

Xx

Cruz86 · 07/03/2022 20:12

I meant to tag @mrsmw132 not @mrshodgy21 for the negative test part!! 🤦🏼‍♀️

@peachiekeen that’s really sweet, and it does make me feel nice in a sad way
PamelaDoov · 07/03/2022 20:21

@Ganesh2022 sorry you’ve had a sad day today. I had one of those last week. Just cried all day long. Hope you feel better soon xx

I have been reading all the posts just not commenting much. Ive had some really bad days over the last week but also some ok, even good days. I think I ovulated yesterday or overnight last night so I’m gonna say I’m in the TWW now.

Ganesh2022 · 07/03/2022 20:28

@PamelaDoov Thank you Flowers. Sometimes a good cry is so necessary.... Glad to hear there have been good days in the mix. Fingers are crossed for you for this 2ww!

@peachiekeen I've heard that; it gets me every time. In a good/sad way.
