Hoping for a BFP in March

Hey

I thought I would start a group for those of us hoping for a nice and positive pregnancy test in March!

I am TTC after 2MC and a chemical. I have a son who is 2.5years and I will be 41 next month 😳. I have an appointment at the recurrent miscarriage clinic in a weeks time. I am keeping positive though and staying hopeful. 2022 is our year.

I am currently CD11 and giving the sperm meets egg plan a go!

@BabyBird20 I’ve had a little peek at the group but daren’t say hi yet - just want to get through this weekend which would’ve been AF due date then I might think about it. It is a bit scary - you feel like you don’t want to get ahead of yourself and jinx it 🙈

@kizzy97 it all sounds positive! Fingers crossed it is your month 🤞🏻

@babybird20 yes I did. dp also has covid with super mild symptoms so it made no difference to us. I think I'll relax more once my temp goes up so I know that something has actually happened!

To the ladies with a BFP contemplating moving over the November thread, they are super supportive group, don't hesitate to move over. You're all more than welcome 🥰

@BabyBird20 I just had a hot chocolate and some heartburn to follow.. I'm usually not a symptom spotter but it was hard one to ignore and my boobs are still throbbing. I've had to go braless all day.. Really wish I knew what was going on now.. How will I ever wait until Sunday 😭...

@BabyBird20 @LEBee92 don't know whether to use my FRER as I only have the one and won't be able to get anymore but I have loads of the easy@home pregnancy tests so don't know which to use

@Natalie2304 Is there a link anywhere for the due in Nov group? I’m useless at finding stuff on here, I’m more of a lurker than a poster 😂

I’m CD 15 today, no idea what’s going on. Got a positive/peak OPK yesterday so would assume Ov today maybe. Started doing BBT this cycle but no rise yet, had a slight drop today actually which I think can happen just before you ovulate? This is very odd for me, I usually ovulate CD13

Ooh @lottieb92 it all sounds so suspicious! Have you got any internet cheapies you could do? The one step ultra early 10mlu ones have worked before my period for both of my pregnancies and theyre about £3 for 15 so you can test away as much as you like?

@kizzy97 what sensitivity are the easy@home tests? I'd be tempted to use one of those first then if any hint of a line get the FRER out? Let us know what you decide to do!

@Mummyme87 do you use the premom app with your opks? I used the free version with non branded sticks and it still really helped me identify the peak. If you had dark lines yesterday I'd assume o today and dtd to be safe and maybe again the day after tomo if you can't face every day?

What are the two different lines? Sorry for been a bit slack I haven't used the app before? X

@Leanne053 the blue is BBT and pink is OPK. My OPK today is dark and high but definitely less than yesterday. So fairly confident I got my peak yesterday which is now 24hrs ago. Will need to DTD tonight to cover Ov day 😴 😂

@BabyBird20 I have just found cheapie in my medicine box looking for painkillers!.. going to do that tomorrow.
I know some babies implant later so I’ll keep waiting.. boobs are still sore and blue veins popping up. Convinced it’s all period related after so many negatives but I’m holding out. I should know in 4 more days.
I’m half tempted to go to GP about boob pain anyway now.. 🤪

And haven’t replied individually to people but wanted to say thanks for all the well wishes and hooray and congratulations to everyone with BFPs 🥳🥳🥳. My tests are still showing positive - it feels so strange to poas and hope for a negative (for those who don’t know me, I had a miscarriage and had to have an MVA), so waiting for the HCG to drop to 0. Realistically I’ll need to join the April thread I think.. but am still reading updates and so delighted to hear about BFPs!!! Sending lots of love to everyone xx

Hi! Not sure if this is how to create a post or if I am crashing someone elses (sorry if its the latter). I reallyyy need advice. For the first time in my life I am looking at my ovulation situation as I’d like to conceive. I bought the clear blue digital smiley face tests. I’ve used an app to monitor my periods for some time now and my periods are pretty spot on every 28 days, give or take 1 or 2 day variation occasionally. According to the app, i should ovulate on cycle day 15? So i took the ovulation test on that day this month and it came up plain circle, nothing was happening. Day 16-19 i got a flashing smiley face each day (high fertility). I then got to thinking, at this point, its 10 days until my period… can i actually ovulate this late? I read the instructions again and decided that i should prob start a fresh next month and test earlier. However, tonight i was curious and took one and it was back to plain circle (cycle day 23). Im really worried I might not be ovulating at all or something..:. Im due my period in 6 days and for the last few days ive been cramping and feeling crappy. Given that i had high fertility days leading to nothing.. whats the chances of ovulation happening before that? So confused. Looking for some advice, anything at all.
I ordered a medicheck blood test for ‘future fertility’ that il be doing on day 3 of my period this month. Thanks in advance lovely ladies xx

@LittleLady111 you need to start doing the CB ovulation tests earlier in your cycle to get a baseline, then when LH starts increasing near ovulation you will get flashing faces and when it peaks will get static. But you need a baseline, like day 7/8

Ah ok il try that thanks so much for response. Im thinking though… i had just the circle on day 15 and then flashing faces for days after… whats the chances of flashing faces after ovulation? I’ll start again next month on day 7 of cycle x

@Mummyme87 that looks like a good peak line! Hopefully it'll come down today! Weirdly I ovulated early this month and had none of my normal signs at all so you never know!

Some good news for me today. My app has confirmed that I did actually ovulate which is great! I was convinced that due to my covid at the time and slow temperature rise I had not ovulated this month.

1dpo today, may the TWW begin! Although now I’m worried we haven’t DTD enough close to Ov, only O-2, -4, -5. Planned to last night but I was so so tired that I just fell asleep
