Hoping for a BFP in March

Hey

I thought I would start a group for those of us hoping for a nice and positive pregnancy test in March!

I am TTC after 2MC and a chemical. I have a son who is 2.5years and I will be 41 next month 😳. I have an appointment at the recurrent miscarriage clinic in a weeks time. I am keeping positive though and staying hopeful. 2022 is our year.

I am currently CD11 and giving the sperm meets egg plan a go!

So i messaged on here yesterday saying that my ovulation tests were just showing empty circles. Today it's a solid smiley so no flashing face yesterday. Has this happened to anyone else?

Yes this happened to me, for five days I had the empty circle then on the 6th day a big smile with no flashing in between which I thought was odd. I don't know if it's a good thing or a bad thing really?

In regards to the CB Digital ovulation test stupid question maybe but have you got pink or purple tests? As the pink reader doesn't show flashing smileys just goes straight from blank to static, I only realised that this month when I bought a new one and it was the purple one that flashes 😂 the last few cycles I only had a static and that was the pink test I didn't realise there were two types 😂

Well AF just came this morning, I don't know if anyone else gets a double whammy of negativity when that happens? You feel awful because it's your first day of your period (which is always rubbish) but also the added emotions of not conceiving.

Time for some self care and to get ready for next month!!

No, I have the purple that shows flashing.

I checked this but no I was using the advanced which should show flashing also

So I took a conceive plus early response test it was 5 pound for 2 tests on Amazon and the line is soo much darker than FRER if anyone is crazy like me and likes to test from early I thought I'd recommend... I'm only 9dpo and they're cheaper than FRER

Thanks for the tip on tests @arianasky I won’t buy any yet, but closer to the time I’ll get some.

I’m CD10 today, had EWCM for a few days, usually Ov CD13. OPK aren’t close to positive yet, still very low 0.26 but I think are getting a bit darker. Pleased I’m not Ov early this cycle as it was about CD11 last month which made my cycle very short which I know isn’t conducive to conceiving.
Have only DTD once on CD7, hoping 3 days holding back will get some super strong swimmers for the next few days 😬😬

Ladies, does anyone on here have short cycles? Mine has been 23 days long and i only just realised that recently when we started trying for a second baby and therefore started tracking closely. I have always had a 26 days cycles but after the birth of our son 2 years ago, things seem to have changed. I did read a lot on the internet and started taking Vitamin B6 this cycle. I am on CD 23 now and no period yet. I would be happy if i manage to extend it somehow as my LP is short as well and i am starting to get worried we would struggle conceiving.

I have the purple one which is suppose to flash 🙈. Who knows what's going on haha

@Kitty901 I was struggling with short LP also since having my DD 2.5 years ago. I feel as though breastfeeding for 2 years didn't help, but I started taking 1000mg on Vit C and B6 this month and got my BFP (cycle 5)

@Natalie2304 thank you, I'll keep testing everyday now until they get darker and darker I just feel like it's something I need to do.

@Mummyme87 no problem, I know FRER have been showing indents etc for a lot of people lately so thought maybe try another early brand and when it looked good I thought I'd share 💕

Ooh @Natalie2304 and @Kitty901 what does the vitamin c and b6 do? I have pcos so always have pretty irregular cycles but we're usually over 30 days. Since ds came along I'm down to anything from 26 to 34 days so it's impossible to tell when/if I ovulate most months. This month I randomly ovulated on day 13!? Now feel like my period is going to arrive any minute even though it's not due til Saturday! It's all so confusing!

Thank you for the reply, and congrats to you! Xx Did you notice any difference in your cycle length or you conceived the first month trying the vitamins? Did you take them throughout the whole month or only after ovulation? I too started taking Vitamin B6 50mg this month after reading on the internet that it may help as i doubt my GP would care or give any advice. I also changed to Pregnacare before conception from just folic acid. My period would be due tomorrow, although last month it started on CD 23 late evening. I hope to have made it at least a bit longer as i am sure i am not pregnant. I might try the vitamin C as well. Xx

@BabyBird20 they are supposed to help regulate your hormone levels. I started with Vit C first (last cycle) and it lengthened my LP by 2 days. Then upped the Vit C from 500mg to 1000mg and added B6 this month and got my BFP 🥳

@Kitty901 sorry didn't see your post until I had posted the last message.
I took them all through my cycle and also used the seven seas TTC vitamins.
Can't say that it was those that did the trick but the fact the Vit C lengthened my LP last month leads me to believe they do something helpful!
