Hoping for a BFP in March

Hey

I thought I would start a group for those of us hoping for a nice and positive pregnancy test in March!

I am TTC after 2MC and a chemical. I have a son who is 2.5years and I will be 41 next month 😳. I have an appointment at the recurrent miscarriage clinic in a weeks time. I am keeping positive though and staying hopeful. 2022 is our year.

I am currently CD11 and giving the sperm meets egg plan a go!

@BabyBird20 I take folic acid, vit D, zinc and vit b complex.

TeddyBeans · 25/02/2022 21:57

@Purple29 I feel you, DP left the navy last year and still has 4 years call back to go. Dreading the thought of him being sent off if things continue to escalate

@Decaffe thank you, I'll have a look for some threads. There might be some ideas to try that we haven't thought of

Natalie2304 · 25/02/2022 21:58

@BabyBird20 I take seven seas also, and 1000mg of Vit C and 50mg of Vit B6. I started with the vitamins as I had a late ovulation and short luteal phase and it seems to have helped with that. No side effects from them either

BigAlice · 26/02/2022 05:34

Good motioning, I wonder if any ladies using the Clearblue Advanced OPKs had any thoughts on this….today CD12 it has gone straight to a static smiley!? From blank on CD10 and 11.
I have a 31 day cycle and usually ovulate around CD17 so this seems a bit odd?
Any thoughts would be much appreciated 😊💕

Purple29 · 26/02/2022 07:35

Hey so I'm CD22 and dtd last night. I had some pink spotting after. Could it be implantation blood?! Always try not to symptom spot. But here I go again!!

arianasky · 26/02/2022 08:23

I take soo many vitamins now 🙈 seven seas TTC ones, vit C, vit B, Vit D, vit E, zinc, iron, omega 3, COQ10 and folic acid 5mg 😂

Peonies94 · 26/02/2022 08:37

Im a bit confused! I had EWCM a few days ago, was getting flashy smilies. I haven’t had any EWCM for 2days and still getting flashing! I have irregular cycles and last months was ‘normal’ so if it was to be the same as that, I’d get my peak in a day or two! Could this be as my body attempted to ovulate, but failed I could get a second peak later? Really hoping i get my peak soon though!😌

FreckledMouse · 26/02/2022 09:01

I take an insane amount of supplements I can't even list 😂😂 6DPO today 🙏🏼✨ (or maybe 5 I think my app is out by a day) how's everyone doing ?

arianasky · 26/02/2022 09:24

@Purple29 @TeddyBeans my heart goes out to you ladies, and praying your husbands won't get called anywhere ❤️

kizzy97 · 26/02/2022 10:50

CD 4 today think I'm coming off af now so will resume OPKs from today! Come on March! 🤞

GeraniumCedarwood · 26/02/2022 14:27

@BabyBird20 regarding pre-natal vitamins, I like the brand Procieve the best, they are more expensive... but the folic acid is in methylfolate form which is easier for the body to absorb.

BabyBird20 · 26/02/2022 20:35

Thanks @Purple29 , @Mummyme87 , @Natalie2304 and @arianasky I've bought the seven seas month pack for this month and will see how we go! I might try the coq10 too, will try anything at this point! Thanks @GeraniumCedarwood too, will try proceive next if no luck with seven seas!

I think I may need to lose weight again to conceive but am really struggling due to pcos (and eating too many biscuits 😬) Has anyone managed to successfully conceive with a 'high' bmi?

Mummyme87 · 26/02/2022 20:47

@BabyBird20 depends what you mean by high BMI. For my first two I had BMI of 31/32. I’m a midwife and see BMIs up to mid 70s

BabyBird20 · 26/02/2022 21:30

That's reassuring thanks @Mummyme87 , I had a bmi of 28 when I got pregnant with ds and they said I was in the borderline overweight category then (even though I was size 12) I'm now size 18/20 and 4 stone heavier so reckon my bmi is probs around 35 which is worrying me. I've tried so hard to lose weight and it just won't shift like it used to!

Pompommer · 27/02/2022 02:08

TTC#2... DS is 3yrs old and was a surprise pregnancy 😅 so it's our first time actually trying, which is a bit overwhelming. We've just started trying this week so not sure what to expect yet 🤷‍♀️

Jellysweet · 27/02/2022 08:40

CD5 today and AF seems to be on her way out. Let's hope I don't see her again for a very long time!

BabyBird20 · 27/02/2022 09:30

Snap @Jellysweet ! Fingers crossed!! 😬🤞🏻

TeddyBeans · 27/02/2022 10:15

CD13 have just attempted AI 😳 I ordered a fertilily on Amazon (yay prime). I think I inserted the cup wonky so not sure how much was sitting at my cervix. Hopefully I'll get the hang of it soon! Going to attempt DTD later as back up and try AI again tomorrow. Still hopeful I ovulate from my left side so I know exactly when it happens. That way we can try for post ov as well

kizzy97 · 27/02/2022 10:31

@Pompommer exact same scenario over here! DS is 3 (turns 4 in a couple of weeks) he was a surprise pregnancy so now ttc #2 and it's first time actually trying although I'm on cycle 6 now! What CD are you currently on?

Snap @Jellysweet and @BabyBird20 CD 5 and af appears to have completely stopped now, I'm trying some new prenatal vitamins this month so hopefully 🤞 going to try everything under the sun as I'm determined this month will be it!

BabyBird20 · 27/02/2022 10:56

Fingers crossed for you too @kizzy97 ! Which vitamins did you go for? I am tempted by the fertilily cup but can't justify the £30 at the moment 😩

kizzy97 · 27/02/2022 11:17

@BabyBird20 just some from Holland and Barrett, I think it might be their own stuff. I've been tempted by that as well but same as you can't justify it especially with DS's birthday and most of my money going on that this month. Maybe next month if I don't get BFP this month xx

FreckledMouse · 27/02/2022 13:56

7 DPO for me today ♥️

I used the Fertilily last month when I got my BFP (MC) so I've used it again with this cycle.
Well I did everything the same actually, supplements, foods, etc but added in Vitex and Baby Asprin to support my progesterone and hopefully prevent another MC (GP has okayed it all!) ♥️

Good luck everyone !

I'm hoping to hold out testing till Saturday.
Send all the baby dust my way please 🙏🏼

Decaffe · 27/02/2022 14:17

Good luck @FreckledMouse, which days did you DTD?

FreckledMouse · 27/02/2022 14:34

Hopefully we caught it 🤞🏼
(Attached chart)

Hoping for a BFP in March
ladybuggoldfinch · 27/02/2022 14:44

I have definitely started some spotting today and AF feels imminent!!! I'm out for now but not out for the month!! Sigh
