[ANP2020]

Hello ladies!

I’ve been reading these threads (at all hours clearly!) I just wondered if anyone was currently in their 2WW and wanted to join me? It’s so long!! I’m ttc number 2, have a 4 year old son, fell first time with him luckily so certainly not expecting the same this time round. This is our first cycle. I’m only using an app not any ovulation sticks so not sure how many days po I am, but According to app fertile window ended yesterday. AF due 21st I only have 24/25 day cycles since coming off my pill.

Anywhoo no symptoms yet as too early! I’ve had ovulation cramps and a few nights of very intense dreams. I think the only symptoms I can remember pre bfp with my son was really really sore boobs, couldn’t bare a bra on!! And really tired.

Please people join me to symptom spot and keep each other company during the 2WW.

So I’ve been out tonight with friends and I did drive as had to pick son up after but as I’ve been feeling so meh! I decided to have one drink that’s how sure I am that I’m out! But the whole time I was there my pelvic area was cramping! I’m sure I’m never this active there before AF normally! I don’t see how I could have missed it every month before, as it’s full on crampy! Not enough to stop u in your tracks or need a pain killer but your aware of it!
Anywhoo TMI but tonight when I’ve been wiping I’ve had so thick creamy white discharge, looks a bit like mucus (sorry!) I don’t think I’ve ever had that before so now I’ve got a smidgen of hope again! Oh it’s too much!

So I caved and tested even though I said I wouldn’t! AF due Monday so pretty close now! And BFN! I’m not buying anymore tests now unless AF doesn’t come for a few days it’s to disheartening to see the BFN! Hope someone else has better news.

@thebloodycatwontstopmeowing I’m sorry 😞. FRER are so frustrating with that line I got caught out with it the first test I did and even called hubby down to get him excited! It was only like when he said I really can’t see anything and then I googled it I saw these lines were a thing!
I also feel pregnant boobs are like boulders this morning but I just now think I must be out!! To add more to the mix my cycles have varied a bit so I’ll probably be late and then it just be a bit later this month! But I’m going to try (famous words) and hold out till like Weds if AF doesn’t come.

Morning ladies, really sorry about the BFN, was really hoping I’d come on and see some good news this morning, we’ve been so unlucky this month. I started spotting red blood yesterday so I think AF will arrive today. Not testing this morning as I’m definitely out at this point.

I know a few people said they’re not trying next cycle, if anyone is and fancies keeping each other company in tbjs thread then I’d be keen.

@thebloodycatwontstopmeowing that line killed me, I’d seen so much about ‘a line is a line’ and I could clearly see it but yeah, nothing. It’s really sad and you do get your hopes up even if you tell yourself not to.

Oh also had a dream I had a baby last night, as if the BFNs aren’t enough of a kick in the teeth!!

Guys look at this for an indent, it’s so bad! It’s definitely completely grey though, no colour to it at all.

One thing I have noticed with FRER, they have like plastic strips on the back and depending on the light, it sometimes shows up as a shadowed line on the result window.
I had some spotting again last night, no idea whats going on 🤷🏻‍♀️

Sorry to hear of all the negatives this morning. I really can see that line @SkeletonSkins, so deceiving! I’m still waiting on AF here, haven’t had anything more than a tiny bit of red in cm the other day. My heart rate on Fitbit is still going up which gives me a bit of hope but it’ll probably crash tomorrow and AF will arrive!

@SkeletonSkins I will be trying again next cycle, so I’m definitely up for keeping each other company on this thread still.

BFN again this morning, expected as I can tell AF is on her way. Currently sat in cafe surrounded by babies which is GREAT. Being a stepmum with no kids of my own has made this harder because I’m always around children and babies.

Planned cocktails with my best friend tonight, so I’m going to make the most of being able to drink before I get back on TTC in a week or so. I haven’t had anything since 31st Dec but I 100% need a drink tonight 🥂🍸

Big hugs ladies!!! So I’d love to join next cycle please! I’ve reworked it out and one more chance before a December baby 🤣🤣! I want AF to arrive now so it can be over and onto the next! Going to use OPKs next time I think!

I'm only 9DPO, just took a test as a whim on my lunch break at work (same story the last three days - truly is all i can think about). Am I being really really optimistic that this isn't just a shadow or a line??? Give me a reality check if it's a BFN though I know it's early

No @ElleBelleLou I can absolutely see that!! Can you do a FRER? It’ll show up pink on one of those if it’s that clear on that test!!

@ANP2020 haha mine would work out as 30th Nov actually so missing December here too! I literally said to OH this morning exactly what you just said, hurry up AF 🙄 I’m going to be more on it with OPKs next month too. My friend has given me a whole load of easy@home tests but think I’ll use ClearBlue as well even though it’s bloody expensive.

I sent my partner to get an FRER so I'll take it first thing tomorrow, I feel so nervous! I don't want to get my hopes up

@ElleBelleLou good luck on the FRER tomorrow, I can definitely see something on the one you today.

AF is due today according to my apps. It is CD 28. I will try and hold out testing until Tuesday if she doesn't arrive.
In December my period came CD 30 and I had convinced myself I was pregnant.

Was out for dinner last night and I am so sick today. Think I ate some shellfish that did not agree with me. So at least that is taking my mind off testing

I have really irregular cycles as I have PCOS but I’m hoping this cycle is a sign that things are normalising as I started medication in January. So fingers crossed I’ll ovulate at some point in March!!

@ANP2020 I’m desperate for AF to arrive 😂 I can tell she’s coming. On the plus side I’m 12dpo so I’m quite pleased that my luteal phase seems a healthy length.

@smiles39 enjoy your cocktails! Totally deserved!! I actually feel a bit relieved to not thing about it for a couple of weeks at least.

@HellsBellsK my god you are so good not testing till AF is due. I’m determined to hold out better next time and I’m definitely getting something other than FRERs.

So sorry @thebloodycatwontstopmeowing that AF arrived.

I will be 36 in April so hope I will be able to get pregnant. My friends are all 35 to 37 and having babies so I am hopeful.

My mom had me when she was 40 so you never know... I was a very big surprise.

@SkeletonSkins I will probably cave and test before Tuesday if she doesn't arrive to be honest...

I will try next month too so I'll stay around.
