Hello ladies!

I’ve been reading these threads (at all hours clearly!) I just wondered if anyone was currently in their 2WW and wanted to join me? It’s so long!! I’m ttc number 2, have a 4 year old son, fell first time with him luckily so certainly not expecting the same this time round. This is our first cycle. I’m only using an app not any ovulation sticks so not sure how many days po I am, but According to app fertile window ended yesterday. AF due 21st I only have 24/25 day cycles since coming off my pill.

Anywhoo no symptoms yet as too early! I’ve had ovulation cramps and a few nights of very intense dreams. I think the only symptoms I can remember pre bfp with my son was really really sore boobs, couldn’t bare a bra on!! And really tired.

Please people join me to symptom spot and keep each other company during the 2WW.

@ANP2020 sorry to hear AF has arrived ☹️ I have no idea about the short literal phase, I would say talk to GP too.

@thebloodycatwontstopmeowing I can’t see anything but the pictures are a bit blurry, you got any clearer ones? It’s still early days 🤞🏻

@thebloodycatwontstopmeowing I can't see anything on those pics BUT it's still early days, when is your period due? Even the first response ones say to test 5 days before the day of your missed period, so the day after AF is due I think?

Hey guys

Sorry for been quiet today, just had a bit of moping time!!
So I’ve messaged by SIL who is a nutritionist and herbalist so she’s going to recommend something, might try that first!
@KSAM came off the pill in October first recorded period Nov and each have been short 23-25 days which in itself isn’t the issue but I only tracked ovulation from this month and it was late in view of the fact I have short cycles and happened on CD 16 whereas my app predicts it at CD 8-13 which would give me a much better time after ovulation for it to stick
@thebloodycatwontstopmeowing I think I can see the faintest line on the lightest picture 🤞🤞🤞

@thebloodycatwontstopmeowing
Sorry I can't see a line, but then I never see a line when others say they can so I think I have rubbish eyes.
You've still got plenty of time by the sounds of it before AF is due, so hopefully this will be your month.

I'm about a week out now and no AF symptoms yet. They usually start a week out so I'm expecting them over the weekend. Although I've been getting some light stabbing in my lower back (but I'm still super poorly with covid and now on antibiotics).
I'm lucky as I'm one of those with no desire to test early.

@ANP2020 I hope your SIL can help with some useful advice. I'm sorry to hear AF arrived, I think the moping is allowed - accompanied with ice-cream?
I read that the soy isoflavones that I tried this month can help if you have a short lutenal (sp?) phase. They definitely brought my ovulation forward and stronger. Maybe worth looking into with your SIL.

I'm contemplating trying acupuncture. Has anyone else tried that?

@thebloodycatwontstopmeowing did you test??

I'm going to buy more tests after work, got myself all paranoid 😂 I've read on here that people get positive opks when they're pregnant and I did one before, I don't even know why 😂 but there was no second line so I've worried myself now

@KSAM I’ve read that before as well but I’ve not had a positive OPK alongside my positive ICs. Hope you’ve found some tests to reassure yourself anyways!

Update: I think this is it ladies, my period is now officially late and the lines are telling me this is happening 😱

I’m getting one final test so I have a proper digital one. Then that’s it I’m putting the tests away and planning for having this baby. 😍

Hello all!

My moping (which did include ice cream, chocolate and a take away 🤣🤣 @pinkpirlie) has turned into productivity now and focusing onto the next cycle! I’ve been to Holland and barret and bought, omega 3, high strength vit c and vitamin B6 all meant to aid my cycle luteal phase! I’ve also got some soy isoflavones coming tomorrow! So 🤞🤞 I’ll be back in this month with a chance! I was going to sit this next month out with it potentially resulting in a December baby but now I don’t care! Although no early testing next cycle (she says) with shorter cycles anyway I just don’t need to add the disappointment now I know all those twinges etc I feel are just AF coming! I need to tune out a bit and hope for the best!

@smiles39 that’s amazing! Those lines are so strong!! I’m so happy for you!! How many months had you been trying again? Eeeek so exciting! Hope you keep checking on us and keeping us updated!

@Galaxyrippleforever still time for that BFP! I know it’s so tempting to test isn’t it!!

@thebloodycatwontstopmeowing I’m sorry 😞 it’s so understandable you feel that way! It takes a lot every month physically and emotionally and it’s totally all mind consuming! So to be going through that for 11 months I just want to send you a virtual hug! It’s so hard! And even for the strongest of people it’s hard to handle that disappointment every month! X

Hi ladies sorry I've been abit quiet trying to keep my mind of ttc! I'm 9dpo today caved and did a cheap test but it was negative. I'm not due on my period till Friday. Don't know what it is just feel out already this month. Told my OF last night I dont think this month is our month!

pinkpirlie · 20/03/2022 10:02

@Amyhal13 sorry to hear of your negative.
I'm also 9DPO today and due Friday so we are definitely in this together.
I feel like AF is coming. I'm feeling queasy which is normal for 6 days out.
I somehow (despite generally having none) have willpower when it comes to testing. So I will test Saturday if AF doesn't arrive Friday.

@ANP2020 keeping my fingers crossed all the supplements help. I've been taking Vit C, Vit D, Q10, folic acid and maca, and last month soya iso CD 3 to 6. Hopefully something has worked.
We are contemplating not missing next month like we had planned too given the year to date has been a sh*t show so far with things not quite going to plan each month. Although I'm still keeping fingers crossed this is the month and we will have a November baby.

Amyhal13 · 20/03/2022 11:26

So last night I had a really strange vivid dream then I've just been sat eating breakfast and I got this pricking feeling for a few seconds in the centre of my uterus! Anyone know if this could be a good sign at 9dpo?
