Hey everyone ❤️

been having a bit of a rough time so been quiet while I processed it all.
had my retrieval last Wednesday. Everything had been looking really good for my stats but when they went in the follicles had vanished!
they got nothing! 😩
they think I ovulated but they don’t understand how or why. It’s apparently a less than 1% risk. Typical me 😐
so we’re back to square one. The clinic tried to push the donor egg route but we’re in no different a situation as when we decided to go ahead with my eggs so we’re trying again.

I’ve been on pessaries to end the cycle then as soon as AF arrives (predicted Friday/Saturday) I start stims again. Back to Spain in less than 2 weeks.
just trying to psych myself up for it all again 😵‍💫

Well done on your for getting going again and hopefully it won't happen this time and they can closely monitor you more to make sure they get the correct timings xxx

@Kelb79 that sounds really tough, sorry you're having to go through all that again. Glad you are trying again. Hopefully this time they will have a better understanding of how your body is reacting to the meds and can catch those follicules on time. Xx

sorry for my radio silence, I’m back and looking forward to AF arriving, I have some ovulation tests and will try and not miss this month. I shouldn’t be surprised that my cycles may be all over the place after a mc!

Cautiously nervous and excited. I had an colonoscopy on Saturday and was lightly sedated. So thinking is it a false positive from that or if not will it be okay. If anyone can let me know that would be great. My boyfriend is local this week so he will be back later tonight

Omg congratulations girl, just phone your doc and ask them about the procedure you had done x

@Bubbles1995 my close friend had abdominal surgery at 12 weeks (didn't know she was pregnant!) And baby was absolutely fine :) your baby wont have a placenta yet so nothing can cross over to them at the minute.

And I dont think any sedation can cause a false positive pregnancy test!

I start my second round of IVF stims today.
having an early scan on Friday and going back to Spain 2 days early so that they can monitor me closer and hopefully not get beaten by ovulation this time!!!! 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

This was the one month neither of us expected this. No tracking (nothing new to me) both of us couldn't even remember how often we had sex. Usually log it but didn't this month! OH was convinced I knew Sunday cos I kept making little comments

Sorry I should add (she found out she was pregnant the morning of the surgery when they test but as it was emergency they needed to go ahead and do it anyway so the doctors knowingly did anesthetic/ sedation - just reassuring you that it's safe:D)

@Annny27 thank you. They asked me in the morning but I did a test and was negative so went ahead. I should be fine!

Sorry I've been quiet been crazy busy at work.
Last few days haven't been fun either as I ended up being admitted into hospital with an unknown diagnosis. But basically dehydrated and lots of ketones in my urine despite eating normally and drinking 2-3L water everyday. Had a crippling headache and ended up at out of hours GP. My blood pressure was 80/60 so was sent to the hospital.

@Bubbles1995 yes im home now. Hoping to get in to see my GP so they can try investigate what's happened. I'm wondering if I'm starting off with gestational diabetes or something as my glucose control has always been a bit rubbish. I have reactive hypoglycemia for example and having had surgery on my stomach in the past have had spells of gastric dumping. Putting 2 and 2 together at the moment. Just glad I'm starting to feel better again.

I will do. I just don't know when to phone the doctors as they were off with me last time I rang up so might ring next week

@PeanuttyButter I'm 5 weeks Sunday roughly from the app

@Bubbles1995 so depends how your drs/hospital works. I informed my GP straight away so that if I had a loss it was recorded as a loss, which would have helped my case if I needed an onward referral to the miscarriage clinic. But I know some trusts won't offer help such as IVF unless you've not managed to get pregnant in the last 12months. So it's up to you when you call xx
