When you don’t think about your days as “Monday Tuesday Wednesday” you think of them as “fertile week” or “CD12” we know the feeling.

We’ve tried baby dust (back in early 2020 I think we stopped believing in that!?, we’ve tried chocolate/pizza & sofa sex (remember that? Late 2020, that got a lot of babies!) and now we are onto manifesting, testing, pleading & yet there’s still some unwanted bleeding🤣😂well tough titties we are here to stay til we get those BFPs🤞🏻🙌🏻we just need to rinse out our foofs & get the nurses to wade through our stocking full of old sperm 💦

Whether you are TTC “normally”, IUI/ivf or anything we are a crew that cling together to the bitter end & always ready to help a sister out. We’ve had multiples, some losses so know two lines can be just as terrifying as none, and we’ve got ladies where those two lines are more illusive than a white Christmas 🎅🏻

It costs an embarrassing story for your ticket, doesn’t have to be TTC related as we know laughing when TTC is needed.

I THINK our plan will be to use the childminder across the road, I'm fortunate I have flexibility with my working hours so don't need to be in the office until 10, and also can work from home some days. My eldest will have left school by the time the twins are needing childcare so could pick them up after college and take them home ready for me. I've also had offers of family.

@larrythelizard my boss was telling me about that tax thing for childcare - we are going to look into that especially having 2!

@larrythelizard my luteal phase ranges from 9-12 days so it's never been consistent which is why I started taking the vit b6 along with the usual pregnacare but I think it's just sent my cycle sqew whiff.

@Juno231 @Minster2012 I've ordered a bbt from Amazon hopefully it will come tomorrow so I can start tracking my temp and some pre seed as I've heard some people have had success with this.

Feeling really deflated as I had got my hopes up this month and it has topped it off with af not arriving on time too. So now I'm not sure what to do other than temping xx

@vil10 can you use cocid as an excuse not to book it. Say now with all the stuff in the news about the new variant you think we might be heading to another lockdown over the festive period and don't want to risk booking anything till later next year once we're out of winter?

@Franklydear @Vil10 yeah, I think you're both right, breaking it down is the way forward. There's so many steps to the process!

@paintfairy 52 is insane. If I'm doing that naturally I am genuinely concerned of what will happen when the drugs start 🙈 I think (going by what pregnant women in my life have said to me) that you don't always feel pregnant all the time, especially not before the bump has shown up. Right now it sounds like you're just torturing yourself with what ifs. Hope the two weeks go quickly for you ❤️ is it bad I already know which hospital I'd choose to go to?!

@Minster2012 I'm so excited there's a plan! Also terrified. Also a bit annoyed I've been told to lose weight over Christmas 😭 my SIL is still in the ICU, so still not out of the woods but doing a little better thanks. The baby is fine, he's incredibly cute and tiny! Sorry you're so poorly though, rest up and look after yourself ❤️

@Hann91 pretty much anything can send your cycle wonky - I think that once your body knows you're TTC it goes weird and awkward just to keep you guessing. Or maybe that was just mine?! 😂

@Juno231 I know! I still can't believe it - I did 52 naturally! Who knows what'll happen when the drugs go in?! I did ask if that meant we were looking at a frozen transfer but she said how people react to the drugs is unpredictable. So there's a chance of a fresh transfer I suppose. Definitely hoping it means we get lots of decent frosties 😄 as for nursery fees...in my area I think it would be like 90% of my salary 😂🙈

@kaylsd my DH literally just had 2 nuts a day on top of his daily multivitamin (but he was taking that when he had the first SA, so that didn't make a difference). Oh that is surprising! I guess it depends on how long ago your DH did one? Mine did his waaaaaaay back at the start of the year, so it'd been a while since he'd done one. When it comes to your appointment I'd definitely recommend making lots of notes! I made three pages of notes and I'm so glad I did because there would be no way I'd remember it all!!

@DKDK123 thanks! 52 is an utterly ridiculous amount, if I was on IVF drugs apparently 20 or more follicles is considered too many and I probably wouldn't be allowed a fresh transfer only a frozen one. I mean, I've managed that naturally so I can only assume this means that the IVF drugs will result in no follicles now 😂🙈

@InkyPaper I had 15 on my AFC but only 10 really on my scans. You need to hope all won't grow with the medication. And really? I'm pm you, because I have no idea!

I haven't looked at the Tommy's caffeine thing @paintfairy honestly wouldn't worry too much just try to limit it as much as possible.

@Hann91 it's definitely a fact that your body fucks with you as soon as you are TTC! We used preseed and really liked it (but you need a lot less than they say!) and I did temping which is where I could see my anovulationary cycles, I also wasn't the absolute strictest on it and yet it still worked

@paintfairy all these things we need to think of!! Ahhh that's so soon and so exciting!! 21st December really isn't far away! I knew about the hot tub thing and how annoying!! Bloody difficult around Christmas and everything forcing drinks on you!

@Juno231 they are really close friends that we could tell but I'm being very cautious on how many people I tell at certain times, just because we're telling parents at 8 weeks and I'll be telling my 2 best friendship groups then as well because I'm seeing one group on Boxing Day for drinks and the other on the 27th for drinks and a few of them know of the struggles, so I kinda want to keep it a surprise for other friends! To be honest I don't even know what we'll do instead, maybe a nice meal?? Ahh I don't know!

@Minster2012 I did think about OH using work as an excuse but his friend knows he's only working Christmas Day so will probs know it's a lie! How're you feeling now??

Well it's not a tww but a 5 working day wait for swab results, no visible signs of issues all looks good, apparently I have good pelvic muscles as while she was getting a second swab out I'd pushed the speculum out 🙈🤣. Got some cream and pessary in case of fungal infection as I had a small sore in groin area 🤦 cost me bloody £28! Ouch! Next stop COVID booster 🤦 hopefully have a nap after hospital later

@Minster2012 I thought super is the light little something you have before bed, in my friends house the children have tea at 4, they have dinner at 6, and then there’s a supper at 8 for the children before going to bed, that’s from 4-9 taken by meals every day, they are the only weirdos I know that do this
