When you don’t think about your days as “Monday Tuesday Wednesday” you think of them as “fertile week” or “CD12” we know the feeling.

We’ve tried baby dust (back in early 2020 I think we stopped believing in that!?, we’ve tried chocolate/pizza & sofa sex (remember that? Late 2020, that got a lot of babies!) and now we are onto manifesting, testing, pleading & yet there’s still some unwanted bleeding🤣😂well tough titties we are here to stay til we get those BFPs🤞🏻🙌🏻we just need to rinse out our foofs & get the nurses to wade through our stocking full of old sperm 💦

Whether you are TTC “normally”, IUI/ivf or anything we are a crew that cling together to the bitter end & always ready to help a sister out. We’ve had multiples, some losses so know two lines can be just as terrifying as none, and we’ve got ladies where those two lines are more illusive than a white Christmas 🎅🏻

It costs an embarrassing story for your ticket, doesn’t have to be TTC related as we know laughing when TTC is needed.

Well, this new rules mean we might not be able to go home for Xmas or at least will have to shorten the trip, to under a week, after 2 years, ... cheer me up ladies,

Also, we start tracking tomorrow, cd 6 at dh request, god knows if any dtd will take place so.... I took that deal on Amazon someone link, at least we have provisions

@2020mission you're a pre smear BFP too??? This is too much of a coincidence!! I definitely think the swab clears the path😂

Well we went to OH's mums for tea and it was a struggle not telling her, especially when every time I coughed with this horrid cold I got a little cramp! Feeling shit with this cold though and hardly slept all night last night so cuddled up on the sofa with chocolate and hot water lemon and honey watching a film! OH got the Christmas decs down today so we're putting them up tomorrow with the tree and I cannot wait!!

@Franklydear onto this cycle then, and tracking is good now you know what to do it would be good to try get a handle on it. How are you all feeling? Did you have a trip back home booked?

@2020mission you could all be right on the smear, was it @Franklydear or @DKDK123 that got told she was ripe to burst an egg on her smear? And got pregnant as a result? But maybe having a pathway made is good!

@Vil10 it must have been hard not to tell her, but the little pains are good! I'm jealous on the Xmas decs, I need to have a convo with DH about that, I often put them up when he's away stalking (which is from next Sunday) and I have a lovely evening with mulled wine/prosecco when DS in bed. None of that this year!!

We went to the pub last night with friends & got back at midnight as they were ordering kebabs, I gotta say watching the ladies down 4 bottles of Prosecco with my apple juice was a bit 😩😭it's weird cos I feel fine/ no different then I really miss that. It was all getting a bit vulgar by the time we left IN THE ❄️ again

DH's sister was here babysitting & she stayed over so she could get an early night & a lie in (her kids wake at 5), I think she might do it more often as we all woke up at 8.30 😂😂(unusual for our DS too!)

X ran into our room & said "daddy someone had put fake snow on your car!" ☃️❄️after we saw fake snow at center Parcs 😂

@Minster2012 it's quite the experience watching everyone get drunk and staying sober isn't it 😅 I forgot how annoying drunks can be haha lots of repeating stories by the end of the night. Get yourself some alcohol free mulled wine for putting the tree up 🍷 that's my plan for next weekend!

@Dollybird89 can you call and move your smear date to sooner? I'd tell them you're having pain and ask to move the appointment. When I called for my first fertility help with the GP and mentioned spotting they were booking me ASAP for a smear. Hopefully all is fine but best to get checked soon just incase.

Oh jeez I'm so behind with Christmas shopping. I've spent too much time focusing on buying baby things as I approach the DD in December. I need to get a move on!

@2020mission I think I'll call Tomorrow and have a chat see what they can do, and hopefully get the time off work, my temp contract just got extended to Feb which is great, however I'm on 16hours and this week they got me down to work 32 hours 🤣 must be doing something right ☺️

@Minster2012 we do have a trip for Xmas booked, but need now a negative test to entry and to come back to the uk, and nhs says we could test positive for 90 days, we are all feeling much better, just really really tired, but we have a few more days isolation, dh has disillusioned me of the many jobs I can get done in that time. That was my wonder nurse in my smear
@Vil10 we put it all up on the first Sunday of December, got the artificial tree and the same decorations every year, what’s this Xmas shopping you all talking about...

@2020mission it was fun watching them til about 10 when the "too many drinks" started coming & I was trying to make eyes to leave at DH as yeah the rambling started, there was debate about farming and subsidies and the state of the economy & I was like "I am NOT drunk enough for this!"

I am absolutely knackered!!

We found out at the hospital on Thursday after further spotting I have an infection but also the lower twins placenta is low lying so this may be the cause of my bleeds... we are looking at it more closely at my 20 weeks scan next month

@Minster2012 I though I could take the chance to do a good deep cleaning, and organising and maybe paint a couple of walls, after all, we’re not going anywhere for a while,....these are not happening, instead we are going to sit on the sofa, watch telly and prepare something to eat, if anyone gets hungry that is....

@Lexber 2 placentas? so, not identical then...

@Bea14 yeah I did the same. I know they aren't reliable but I was so pleased when it said 3+. And we loved Mauritius! Amazing place. @kaylsd Not somewhere i would have even liked to go but our honeymoon was October and that's not a good time for Mexico type places. But I would go back! The only horrific thing was the flight.
@Franklydear the travel thing is shite. I don't actually think people should be galavanting on bloody holiday. They should be prioritising people who have family in other countries though etc. Its not fair keeping them apart.
@Vil10 yeah he does it when we get in bed too! I've just got comfy and he's like- scratch my back. 🙄 I say no, but usually relent. Mainly because I often ask him to massage mine when it hurts, and he can't be saying no to that. 🤣

Omg. The tiredness has hit me. The night before last I fell asleep at 7pm whilst watching TV. I thought it was because I had a busy afternoon. Last night the same thing happened! Just could not keep my eyes open. Couldn't get up this morning (not helped by me waking at 5 and then barely going back to sleep before the alarm). I'm also permanently starving. 🙈🤣 Just had an amazing bacon cob. (That's a giveaway isn't it? Roll, bap, christ knows what else you lot want to call it). 🤣🤣🤣😬

@minster2012 I’m usually a nightmare for Christmas presents but this year I vowed to be in front so I didn’t start panic buying like I do every year so I’ve actually finished all my
Christmas shopping 🙈 I hate wrapping presents its the worst part of it because I can’t make them look pretty!

@lexber my DH is a non indentical twin, I hope the bleeding settles soon and everything resolves for your 20 week scan 🤞🏻

I put our Christmas decorations up yesterday as the snowy morning gave me inspiration and I’m currently working next 7 days in a row and DH is too as we usually decorate on 1st but we’ve brought it forward this year🎅🏻, it’s currently snowing right now just waiting for DH to finish work so we can take the pooch out in it as she loves snow :)
Hope everyone has had a lovely weekend although I’m appreciating the snow today, I hope it goes for tomorrow as I hate driving in snow and if it’s bad I’ll be on foot no doubt visiting patients 🙈

Thanks ladies, everything went well. Baby healthy 😊 I've just checked on the smear theory. I had my smear on ov day in July and conceived in august so maybe there is some theory in it.

I chose to go for the Timelapse imagery of my embryos developing because I was curious, not because I thought it would make any difference, and although I discussed PGT with the consultant he effectively told me not to bother. Sounds like CARE are fairly trustworthy on that score!

@kaylsd you've finished your shopping?! And I wrapped a birthday present with parcel tape earlier as I couldn't find the sellotape!! I really wish we'd done the Xmas decorations today but our friends asked if we wanted to meet up so did that instead. DH isn't here now basically each weekend so it'll be me 😩

@Sunbird24 i found the time lapse stuff fascinating too but unfortunately we weren't offered it. How you feeling? Are you an early tester or not?

@Minster2012i felt a bit sick earlier but I think that’s because I ate an entire box of mint matchmakers… I’m away this week with work, so I deliberately didn’t pack a stick to pee on - hopefully that’ll see me through to Friday!

@bez91 I know @Dollybird89 is a cob girl too! It has fairly limited use though. @Minster2012 that's what you would have been eating at center parcs! 🤭
@Sunbird24 we weren't allowed any add ons with us being nhs. Interestingly though, the other clinic we had the choice of- did offer them. I did think the imaging would be nice to have to look back on, assuming it worked. Its odd because it never seems to reflect the grading system though, so one clearly isn't right! Who knows. Interesting they said that about the testing though! I honestly always assumed that was beneficial.

I think maybe if I’d tested them all pre-freeze it might have been, but to defrost them, take cells, refreeze to wait for results, then defrost again for transfer was just too much ‘faffing abaht’ as Len would say! I don’t have video of the current one, but they did give me a black & white photo.
