When you don’t think about your days as “Monday Tuesday Wednesday” you think of them as “fertile week” or “CD12” we know the feeling.

We’ve tried baby dust (back in early 2020 I think we stopped believing in that!?, we’ve tried chocolate/pizza & sofa sex (remember that? Late 2020, that got a lot of babies!) and now we are onto manifesting, testing, pleading & yet there’s still some unwanted bleeding🤣😂well tough titties we are here to stay til we get those BFPs🤞🏻🙌🏻we just need to rinse out our foofs & get the nurses to wade through our stocking full of old sperm 💦

Whether you are TTC “normally”, IUI/ivf or anything we are a crew that cling together to the bitter end & always ready to help a sister out. We’ve had multiples, some losses so know two lines can be just as terrifying as none, and we’ve got ladies where those two lines are more illusive than a white Christmas 🎅🏻

It costs an embarrassing story for your ticket, doesn’t have to be TTC related as we know laughing when TTC is needed.

@Vil10 hurray! Glad you've got your first appointment booked! Our first consult with the fertility team was basically a 15 minute rundown of our medical history culminating in being told our only option was IVF with ICSI 😂 but I feel like this may not be the norm...

@kaylsd it's super exciting when the ball starts rolling with IVF stuff. I quite like getting all the info I can - I listened to the Big Fat Negative podcast and read up on it on a website called the Duff, which I found helpful theduff.co.uk/ivf-process-start-to-finish/

@DKDK123 sounds like you and DH are approaching this with a great attitude. Hope the test can give you a more definitive answer

@paintfairy I guess if they don't see a medical reason for you to continue with the progesterone after 8 weeks then your only option perhaps would be back on the NHS side speaking with your GP?

@paintfairy I was on 400mg a day and I was advised to take until 12/13 weeks. My consultant was the one who said that's when the placenta fully takes over. If you struggle PM me, I have some left over (x39 of 400mg ea) I'll happily send you

Hello, can I join? This is my first cycle of ttc for baby #2 in the usual way, and I’m nervous about it.
Embarrassing story: I had a weekend away booked with my partner for sex reasons. We had a silly argument and I ended up getting the train home. My bag split just as I got on the train. My moisturiser, deodorant and sexy knickers were resplendent on the track for all to see. The assistant told me not to get on the train and wait for a specialist to ‘extract’ my ‘personal effects’. It was humiliating. I only waited because it was my only matching set of underwear

Oh no @juno231, let's hope he caught it after the wedding so he's not spread it to all the guests 🙈

@paintfairy is there anyone at the clinic you can phone before the 8 week scan to discuss your worries about the progesterone? Or see if your GP can help, they may do it as its not like its a new prescription its more of an extension of something you're already using, even if you see if they can prescribe it for you till 10 weeks just for your own peace of mind they might do that if you say its causing you high distress the thought of stopping.

Girls, I did something stupid, I was never planning on testing, I'm due tomorrow and somewhere between 11-13dpo, but on the way home from my lashes tonight I just got an urge and stopped off at the shop and picked up a medi sure pregnancy test, seen that they're actually decent, took it when I get home (again stupid at 8 at night) but I thought well I haven't drank half as much as usual today and I've held this wee for hours, did it thought nothing of it whilst washing my hands, picked it up after 5 mins and I'll attach the pic, it's pink, and I'm shaking because I'm so scared it's an evap or a false positive but it's definitely there I haven't adjusted the pictures at all, I'll attach a few that I took in different rooms (whilst trying to hide from OH) the last one is with flash

Always the way with the men @Franklydear - we have to just get up and carry on.

All I can think to do is pick one up on the way to work and do it at work, so it'll be second morning wee and probably won't be an frer either because it's only Superdrug that do them shop wise near me and it won't be open when I'm on my way to work!!
