When you don’t think about your days as “Monday Tuesday Wednesday” you think of them as “fertile week” or “CD12” we know the feeling.

We’ve tried baby dust (back in early 2020 I think we stopped believing in that!?, we’ve tried chocolate/pizza & sofa sex (remember that? Late 2020, that got a lot of babies!) and now we are onto manifesting, testing, pleading & yet there’s still some unwanted bleeding🤣😂well tough titties we are here to stay til we get those BFPs🤞🏻🙌🏻we just need to rinse out our foofs & get the nurses to wade through our stocking full of old sperm 💦

Whether you are TTC “normally”, IUI/ivf or anything we are a crew that cling together to the bitter end & always ready to help a sister out. We’ve had multiples, some losses so know two lines can be just as terrifying as none, and we’ve got ladies where those two lines are more illusive than a white Christmas 🎅🏻

It costs an embarrassing story for your ticket, doesn’t have to be TTC related as we know laughing when TTC is needed.

Haven’t catchup, just an update for me, I tested cos dh wanted to know, a very faint line, hardly visible, so a potentially negative well see, anyway what is definitely positive is my lft, ffs, so far I am ok, runny nose and a headache and ds remains well but tired

@Somatronic oh god, what a nightmare. We had the bloody damp course man try to do that to us. Ignored me for ages then was like- I'll come tomorrow. Erm? It was all of downstairs. I told him to do one. I got someone else in the end. 🤣 I hope you manage to get sorted in time.
@DKDK123 honestly don't know how you are doing the no sleep thing with your job. Not surprising is how much pizza you can eat. What?! I can eat a whole medium domino's to myself (they are smaller than most). A Papa John's i can eat all bar 2 bits, which i evidenced Friday night. DH made the mistake of getting large ones one week which are huge. I only managed half. 🤣 As for what I ate last night......

@Sausage1990 that's good they've found a reason. At least moving forwards it can be addressed and finally this could work for you. You are definitely overdue some good luck!

So- we went out for a family meal last night. Not drinking was fun. 🙄 Literally I thought I was going to explode though. With the lack of toilet going, bloating, and food, I think I looked 6 months pregnant. I was wearing something forgiving but I still felt I needed to breathe in when being looked at. 🤣 I ate far too much (good food though) and then there was a bloody disco after! Dancing on that much food would never be great. But I couldn't look boring so I did a bit. Only all I could hear in my head was @Minster2012 saying don't twist. So I was kind of bobbing up and down dancing in a cautious non drunk manner. Gutted not to be able to have a good night out! I was also yawning by 9pm.
Of course I slept even less than ever last night. I must have gone for a wee 4 or 5 times. I think I finally fell asleep after 5am. 🤦‍♀️ 🧟‍♀️

I have a headache and runny nose, and nausea, my oxygen is a bit lower than normal, I’ll call my asthma nurse in the morning

@Franklydear Rubbish news about the positive LFT but sounds like there might be a little silver lining with your test? Will keep my fingers crossed it isn't an indent.

@Sausage1990 I am sorry to hear what an awful time you have had. It all sounds very traumatic. I am glad you have some answers and a plan for going forward. Amazing news on the weight loss too.

@DKDK123 It wasn't very fair to keep you waiting for your scan, especially as you were feeling anxious. So terrible for that couple but you would think they would have plans in place for this happening as sadly we know that bad news does happen. Glad all is well with you though. Little one (Emily?!) was obviously meant to be!

@Vil10 Oh now that is exciting news. So you are putting in an offer tomorrow? Annoying it is blind bidding, that is what they always do in Scotland. Great for the seller but not so much for the buyer. Hope your estate agent pal can give you some idea of where to go in price wise 🤞🏠

@MegAnne83 How are you getting on? Are the lines progressing? I know exactly how you feel as something very similar happened to me. Not knowing what is going on in your body is very scary and frustrating. For me it didn't end well but you always get a mixed bag of experiences. Hoping all is going well for you but get in touch with the local EPU if you need to as they can test your HCG levels in your blood.

@Minster2012 Hope your weekend is going well! Sounds like a busy one. Have you get the second trimester glow going on now?

@Somatronic Sounds like everything is happening at the same time for you! But if builder is starting now as it might be finished earlier than you thought? Stressing having to move the whole downstairs upstairs! Also your boss sounds like a bit of an arse.

Haha @paintfairy I know exactly what you mean about the bloating. I am huge in the evening after I have eaten. I look 5 months gone, lots of breathing in here too. Glad you enjoyed the dancing (despite no twisting allowed). I hope you have time for a nap today, sounds like you need it.

Really interesting to hear everyone's asprin chat. I have only had one miscarriage so haven't ever taken asprin and doubt I would be prescribed it after one. I do wonder if I should start taking it now though. I would do anything to make sure this one sticks. One of my best pals took it after 2 miscarriages and now they have 3 gorgeous girls. So hard to know what to do for the best.

@Bea14 ohh you're Scottish too then? Fingers crossed for you @Vil10 I know it's tough placing a bid and losing but hopefully you'll be lucky 🤞 when will you find out? In Scotland we get told by the end of the day on the closing date set so at least it's not dragged out too much. I'm still gutted offering 26k above the home report value on the last house we were interested in only got us in 4th place. Madness.

@Sausage1990 great to see you back. It's good to have been following you on Instagram as it meant we could see you were still ok whenever you posted there while you were gone from here. The weight loss on top of the losses can't have been easy but it sounds like a good move and I'm sure in 2022 you'll get your sticky bean!

@Franklydear sorry to hear about the positive LFT but hopefully it's just minor cold symptoms for you and passes quickly. I hope that faint line progresses too, keeping hopeful for you! I have mild asthma so I understand any chesty cough is going to be tougher on you with covid.

Rant, sent DH to the pet store to pick up some carefully selected number of fish to complete my tank, some more of the same species to complete the flock, i have 3 carefully thought species to live together, and what does he bring me, some randoms, never considered before, I am furious!

So DH and I are having a child free night on Friday, my parents are having Alice overnight. We've decided to have a night in and a takeaway, is that boring??

Thanks for all the sympathy for my complaining about the builder haha. To answer some of the questions, it's not better really that he's starting earlier than expected because we wanted him to start as late as possible to fit in around the gas boiler guy who is delaying the entire process so we'll probably end up with half a floor now and a messy chimney breast 🙄
We're skimming the whole downstairs walls and ceilings, getting a new kitchen, new floors throughout, knocking a wall to open the kitchen/diner and closing off the living room from the dining room with double doors. I'm not even excited because the thyroid is sucking the life out of me and I feel exhausted and stressed.
Oh, and DH is getting a colonoscopy on top of the other chaos tomorrow. Fingers crossed his symptoms are nothing to worry about.

@Kirky658 no that sounds like a good way to relax together after having months of busy and plenty of sleep deprived nights with Alice 😅 my mum and dad told me the first babysitter they had for me they had planned a nice meal out and drinks at the pub but they had the meal then decided to go home early and enjoy some good sleep instead 😴 how many weeks old is little Alice now?

Apparently, covid can delay periods up to 40 days cycles, so I'll be in limbo for a while, not even testing any time soon, que será, será

@Franklydear covid will only delay your cycle if you get it before ovulation. After will make no difference.
@Kirky658 it seems a shame to stay in. Could you not go for a meal somewhere not too far and not too late? So you can come home and chill after? Then at least you've managed some good food. I completely get not wanting to do anything strenuous. Good as it seems, it's not fun if you don't have the energy.

@paintfairy I know, thing is I think we just want to enjoy the novelty of being at home and being able to eat a meal in peace 😅 plus money is a bit short till payday unfortunately so having to compromise due to Xmas rearing it's ugly head..

Needing a bit of a hand hold today 🥺 it's my first bday without my dad , I've been up since 2am not able to sleep. Oh has got the day off but I'm feeling miserable.. got nothing planned except for grocery shopping. It's just so hard not being able to talk to my dad, I always saw him for my birthday no matter what 😭

@Dollybird89 awww. It is hard. You need to do something nice to take your mind off it. I'm afraid Christmas will do the same. It never goes away. It took me ages to get out of the mindset of oh I'll message and tell dad, when anything happened. I'd then realise that I couldn't. Every single bloody time. It's like your mind doesn't accept it for a very long time. Even now there's times I forget he's not here and then you remember. It's shit.
But you need to do something nice with OH and try to enjoy your day. Your dad wouldn't want you miserable on your birthday xxx

Well our blind offer is going in the next hour, the estate agent said he wasn't aware of any offers at the minute so that's out the window, just got to hope and pray it's our time!!

I feel horrendous this morning, thought I was getting this cold that's going around but I've woken up with a bad stomach, diarrhea and feeling sick😫 and already got af cramps, I've had them since Friday and I just don't understand how I can have af cramps a full week before I start, it's not bloody fair!!

I am not feeling too bad, headache is gone, my nose is so runny I’ll keep Kleenex afloat this year, I have a sore throat, my oxygen is quite low, but not dangerously so, I am waiting for the gp to call to give permission to take the heavier meds I have at home, so should be ok, fingers crossed, don’t let this not be an occasion for a mummy brag, ds is amazed that I intent to keep looking after him, even when I get covid, and daddy will not be staying home, crazy that he still has to go to work, but that’s another conversation, he is worried if I can still knit as I haven’t done it much these past days, so I better grab those needles
