Congratulations @Floslittlebean 💕

I’m 12dpo today and I feel like AF is on its way. Got some dull cramps so expecting that to arrive soon 😩 I’ve had such dry lips and a dry mouth over the weekend too, and I’ve been up since about 3am this morning as I just couldn’t sleep, so we you can imagine, I’m a treat to be around today 😭😂 Here’s hoping for many more BFP’s this week 💕

Yayyyyyyyy congratulations @BH1926

And looking promising @MidnightPatrol and @Irishfarmer Fingers crossed you both get nice clear BFPs in a day or 2.

I really feel you @Mummytobe93 and @Firsttimetrier I've got a lot going on and TTC takes over my brain so much I'd just like to focus on other things for a while. But if I imagine not trying that gives me anxiety as well. Just feels like no way to avoid the stress and disappointment and feeling I'm doing something wrong.

Irishfarmer · 15/11/2021 12:18

@MidnightPatrol just checked my CB digital one, it says you can use it up to 4 days before AF is due, which is today for me, I'm due Friday. I might try hold off until tomorrow morning though as I only have the one. I have loads of one step ones, and a tesco own brand one too (I know what am I like!). Are you going to go for a test later?

Coco9910 · 15/11/2021 12:24

Amazing news @BH1926!! So happy for you! 💕

@Irishfarmer I can see a line!! Hope the line continues to develop and get darker over the next few days 🥰

@Mummytobe93 @Firsttimetrier it is so stressful isn’t it and it sounds like you. Ohh have a lot on! I know it’s easy to say but try go easy on yourselves. Sending lots of love!

Massive congratulations @BH1926! More wonderful news!

It's looking great for you too @Irishfarmer! Fingers crossed for tomorrow's tests!

Danani · 15/11/2021 12:37

@Irishfarmer I see a line!!! Fingers crossed for you!!! x

lottieb92 · 15/11/2021 12:55

Oh this is so amazing so many BFPs and hopeful ones ✨🤍
Congratulations all, keep us updated!

Niccccx · 15/11/2021 12:58

Congrats on the bfps! I am now 16dpo (according to 2 apps) but still getting BFN! Had af cramps from 5dpo and more so last week, going to the toilet expecting to see AF but hasn’t come to anything. The last 2 months AF has came 2 days early, I am now 2 days late. Has anyone else experienced this and just been late? X

beckybabyx · 15/11/2021 13:07

Congratulations @BH1926 so happy for you!

Another BFN cheapie for me this morning at 12DPO and a very very tiny bit of spotting and more severe cramps so thinking AF may be on the way Sad fingers crossed it’s IB but that’s wishful thinking xx

Decaffe · 15/11/2021 13:22

Hello! Thanks for the new thread 🎆

Does anyone know the sensitivity of the First Response Rapid test please? I ordered the wrong one off Amazon, I meant to order a FRER 🤦🏼‍♀️

MidnightPatrol · 15/11/2021 14:23

@Irishfarmer @MindZGap

Cracked and went to buy a FRER.

Result after three mins… I think this might be my BFP GrinShock

Now to try and avoid testing every hour to check it’s real!

BH1926 · 15/11/2021 14:27

@MidnightPatrol congratulations! Such a good line for 10DPO! Fingers crossed you've a sticky one xx

Mummytobe93 · 15/11/2021 14:30

Ahhh it’s definitely a BFP! Congratulations! I’m so happy we got so many today 🥰

Danani · 15/11/2021 14:31

Oh wow no denying it, @MidnightPatrol! Looks very real and very obvious, zero squinting required!! CONGRATULATIONS!!! xx

(PS I know it's easier said than done, but if you must continue testing, make sure you don't test more frequently than every 2 days, because the hcg doubles every 48 h. Testing more frequently than that won't give you much of a progression!)

Sar1010 · 15/11/2021 14:36

Hey, I’m also 10 dpo got the faintest line to ever exist. If this is my lucky month then I’ll be gobsmacked as I’ve drank pretty much every other day since ovulation!

Can you guys see the line? It so faint. But it did appear straight away and I stupidly tested after I’d drank a pint of water.

Ive had a chemical before so really trying to not get too excited.

BH1926 · 15/11/2021 14:50

@Sar1010 I definitely see a line! Fingers crossed for you ❤️

Irishfarmer · 15/11/2021 14:54

Awww congrats don't even have to click on it to make it bigger to see for the line!! @MidnightPatrol my DH was home at lunch. I wanted to do the CB one he said to wait until morning, as if it is negative I'd want another one for the morning and he is too busy to go to town.

@Sar1010 I can see a faint line. It disappeared after this pic? I've never had that happen so not sure why that would be.

MidnightPatrol · 15/11/2021 14:58

Thank you @BH1926 @Danani @Irishfarmer @Mummytobe93 !

What happens now?! It’s taken me so long to get to this point, I’m not sure I’d thought about what I do next.

Fingers crossed for you all!

Sar1010 · 15/11/2021 15:09

@Irishfarmer no no it stayed there. Just quite faint but I’m not due on my period til Thursday so I guess it makes sense to be faint?

I’m quite surprised. No real symptoms accept a headache and boobs slightly ballooned.

Will see how it develops over the next few days. Fingers crossed! We’ve been TTCing for over 18 months, this month we had tests and everything looks normal for me but my partner has low morphology. So weren’t expecting any good news this month (which I why we got pretty tipsy a few times).

Seems like a load of us got good news today! So rare! But my love goes to everyone pondering and hoping, such a difficult journey that I was never really prepared for. Xx

Shortmamashortcycles · 15/11/2021 15:16

@MidnightPatrol, what a stonking line! Massive congrats! Where are you geographically? If in England or Wales then it can differ by area but my general advice would be: look to see what your local hospital trusts are and which one's maternity services you prefer (basically if you have a maternity specialist near you, I'd choose that). Then you can often self-refer to them, i.e. tell them you're pregnant! They usually notify your GP but worth dropping the GP a line anyway so they have it on record. But there's no immediate rush, feel free to take a few days to sit with the info. If you're taking folic acid and you're off the booze/sushi/steak tartare/sky diving then you're doing alright!

@Sar1010, I see the line!! Wah fingers crossed you get a stronger one in a day or so!

madeleine85 · 15/11/2021 15:28

Oh wow, so many bfps today!!! Congrats to you all. What a lovely start to the week 🎉❤️🎉❤️. Great news!

beckybabyx · 15/11/2021 15:35

Ah so many BFP's today it is making me feel hopeful! Congratulations @MidnightPatrol and @Sar1010 (I can definitely see a faint line there)
xx

MidnightPatrol · 15/11/2021 15:46

@Shortmamashortcycles

London! Thank you for the advice. I might wait a week or so, as to not jinx it.

I reckon steak tartare and sushi is easily avoidable, but I might struggle more with finding a convincing reason for refusing to touch a drop a drop of alcohol.

Thanks you to @beckybabyx too!

Danani · 15/11/2021 15:52

@Sar1010 I can definitely see it!!! Fingers crossed lovely!

Wow, what a lucky lucky day! So chuffed for everyone's good news, it is giving me LIFE on this gloomy Monday! x

Shortmamashortcycles · 15/11/2021 16:04

@MidnightPatrol, ahh me too! Would hugely recommend Queen Charlotte's if you're west, but have friends with good experiences at the Whittington and Chelsea & Westminster too.

I think leaving it a week or so is sensible. Fingers crossed everything progresses smoothly for you!

Unpopular opinion incoming: imo, a small glass of wine or a weak G&T every so often is fine... even in the first trimester. Although I get really bad nausea 6-14 weeks so that kind of killed any temptation for me! 😉

Coco9910 · 15/11/2021 16:38

I said I wasn’t going to test, just wait for it AF arrived or not, but I have just felt off today and I just couldn’t sleep last night, so I went and got a test and did it at lunch time and this came up in the time frame. I feel like I can’t get excited as I’m only 12dpo and I’m scared it’s an evap or it might not stick. Going to test again on Wednesday and hopefully it’s still there 🙈
